103: Chapter 103: Fully Producing Targeted Drugs

“Alright! I need a large quantity of targeted medicine and antigen now. If we temporarily halt non-essential work at the base and focus on producing these two medicines, how long will it take?” Oriental Chen asked.

“With sufficient crystalss, we estimate we can produce one thousand units per day,” Xiao Lin replied.

“Good, I understand. You first order the Bee Queen to start production, and I’ll bring back another batch of crystalss later,” Oriental Chen commanded.

“Understood, Commander.”

Oriental Chen hung up the phone and walked back.

“How is it?” Yan Fangfang asked anxiously.

“It can be treated!” Oriental Chen said.

“Really? That’s great!” Yan Fangfang was overjoyed.

“Don’t celebrate too soon. Tell me, how many people need treatment?” Oriental Chen asked.

If the number was too high, some who were corpifying quickly might not even have time to wait for the medicine to be produced before fully corpifying.

“According to the data collected this morning, there are a total of 1,232 people,” Yan Fangfang said.

“Over a thousand people, that’s not too bad, there should be enough time.”

Oriental Chen roughly calculated that over a thousand units of medicine and antigen each, totaling nearly three thousand units. It would take almost 3 days to complete production.

“Really, that’s truly wonderful.” Yan Fangfang no longer cared about her image and was ready for a big hug.

“Stop!” Oriental Chen quickly stopped her, he couldn't let someone take advantage of him for nothing.

Yan Fangfang reacted, apologizing awkwardly and profusely.

“Let’s go, first take me to see that Holy Emissary,” Oriental Chen said.

“Okay!” Yan Fangfang quickly went ahead to lead the way.

...

The Holy Emissary, missing his limbs, had already fainted and was left on the floor.

“Wake him up!” Yan Fangfang commanded.

“Yes!” A Soldier on duty quickly grabbed a bucket of cold water and poured it directly over him.

“Ah! Release me! Release me quickly! You ignorant people, do you know the consequences of offending the Red Coat Sect?” The Holy Emissary, jolted awake, screamed and began to curse.

“Drag him up and make him sit against the wall,” Oriental Chen said.

The Soldier looked at Yan Fangfang, asking for her instruction.

“Execute the order!” Yan Fangfang commanded.

“Yes!”

Two Soldiers stepped forward, one on each side, and helped the person up against the wall.

After changing to a more comfortable position, the Holy Emissary took a deep breath.

“Hahahahaha~, how about it, are you scared? If you’re sensible, quickly release me. Otherwise, great disaster will befall you!” The Holy Emissary continued to threaten.

Oriental Chen ignored him, walked to a stool, and sat down.

“What’s your name?” Oriental Chen asked casually.

“Name? I don’t have a name. Everyone calls me Lord Holy Emissary, you can call me that too,” the Holy Emissary said mockingly.

“Stubborn. Do you still expect someone to come and rescue you?” Oriental Chen said.

“Hahaha~, guess!” The Holy Emissary stared at him and said.

“I think your subordinate is more enlightened than you. He voluntarily confessed everything he knew and didn’t suffer at all,” Oriental Chen said.

“Hmph! Cowardly trash!” The Holy Emissary cursed.

“So he lives, and you, you won’t!” Oriental Chen reminded him.

“Hahaha~, trying to trick me? I’m telling you, it’s useless!” The Holy Emissary didn't fall for it.

“Whether you believe it or not, I don’t care at all. But I believe that after he goes back, he will quickly take your place,” Oriental Chen continued, stating it as a fact.

“Him? You’re overthinking it! Just an Enforcers, and he dreams of taking the Holy Emissary’s position? Ridiculous!” The Holy Emissary said disdainfully.

“Isn’t the Holy Emissary chosen from among the people below?” he thought to himself.

Oriental Chen could tell from the Holy Emissary’s eyes that perhaps the position of Holy Emissary might genuinely not be selected from among the people below.

“That’s not necessarily true. What if he can bring back medicine to treat you all?” Oriental Chen continued to speak calmly, but his true purpose was to probe.

“Hmph! That’s still impossible!” The Holy Emissary remained disdainful.

It seemed the Holy Emissary truly wasn't chosen through selection.

“I’m very curious, what kind of mesmerizing potion did the Red Coat Sect give you to make you so loyal?” Oriental Chen changed his approach.

“Hmph! A summer insect cannot speak of ice!” The Holy Emissary scorned.

“Alas! I originally wanted to give you a chance, but unfortunately, you don’t appreciate it at all. In that case, I can only say I’m sorry!” Oriental Chen sighed, stood up, and then took out a syringe of medicine from his pocket.

“What is that?” The Holy Emissary was a little nervous.

“Don’t be nervous, this is good stuff. Just one injection will make you feel like you’re floating in heaven, as if in a fairyland,” Oriental Chen said, holding the medicine in his left hand, describing the blissful scene with rapt attention.

The unknown is the most terrifying. Although Oriental Chen was smiling, this self-satisfied expression seemed unusually terrifying to the Holy Emissary.

He felt as if a cold-blooded butcher stood opposite him, and he himself was the lamb waiting to be slaughtered.

“No, no!” The Holy Emissary shook his head vigorously and shouted.

“That’s not good, is it? I really admire your loyalty and backbone, you can’t disappoint me!” Oriental Chen chuckled awkwardly.

“No! No! I’ll talk! I’ll talk!” The Holy Emissary continued to shake his head, hastily changing his tune.

“Tsk tsk tsk. It seems you’re just cheap. You don’t appreciate kind words, you only cooperate after suffering. Tell me, aren’t you cheap?” Oriental Chen said disdainfully.

This was an attack on his inner defenses.

“You!” The Holy Emissary was a little angry.

“Hmm?” Oriental Chen glared.

“Ah! Yes, yes, yes! I’m cheap, I’m just cheap!” The Holy Emissary hastily nodded in admission.

Oriental Chen and Yan Fangfang exchanged glances, showing an expression of 'nothing more than this'.

“Is that so! Alas! I’m just too soft-hearted, I can’t bear to see others looking so pitiful. So, I’ll give you one more chance to speak, but you only have this one chance. If you don’t cooperate well, then I can only use my own methods.” Oriental Chen feigned a soft-hearted appearance.

But anyone could see that this appearance was deliberately acted.

“I’ll cooperate! I’ll cooperate!” The Holy Emissary stared, nodding frequently, with a fawning expression.
