445: Chapter 445 Arrival in Los Angeles

Tannai Zhifu reported the specific events to Nakae Koji.

Nakae Koji did not say much.

After organizing everything, five patrol ships left Pearl Island and sailed towards the United States of America.

“Warning! Warning! Unidentified aircraft approaching, number unknown.”

“Warning! Warning! Unidentified aircraft entering the safe zone, Energy Shield activated!”

Three hours after leaving Pearl Island, the patrol ship's monitoring screen suddenly issued an alarm.

“What in the world is this?” Nakae Koji was very surprised when he saw the images displayed on the screen.

There were many fighter jets in the camera feed, but their design was very strange.

They were overall light yellow, with irregular black stripes covering their fuselages, somewhat resembling tiger patterns.

Their shapes were also irregular; it felt like each plane was generally similar, but varied in size and details.

Overall, they gave the impression of having been created by a group of primitives.

But how was that possible?

“Chirp chirp chirp~”

Those strange planes fired first.

“It's a Laser Gun!”

Nakae Koji was greatly alarmed.

“How is this possible?”

Was this still the world he knew?

The Energy Shield could withstand energy attacks.

Therefore, no damage was caused to the patrol ships.

“Activate the laser cannons and shoot them all down!” Nakae Koji commanded.

“Aye!”

The operator only needed to issue commands on the screen.

The laser cannons did not require manual aiming; they could lock onto targets and fire automatically.

“Chirp~”

Multiple beams of light, much thicker than those from a Laser Gun, shot out, and several enemy planes were instantly hit, plunging directly into the water.

“Release a mechanical shuttle and salvage one.”

“Aye!”

Oriental Chen had left backdoors in all the patrol ships, allowing for silent monitoring.

When he received Xiao Lin's alert, Oriental Chen opened the screen.

The order to salvage the plane was given by Oriental Chen through Putian Xiaoyezi.

These strange things had to be analyzed.

In fact, the combat power, maneuverability, speed, and flexibility of these planes were all quite good. If they were ordinary fighter jets, they would have been wiped out in minutes.

If it weren't for the Energy Shield, it would have been very difficult for the patrol ships to win.

But now, after one round, all the planes were annihilated.

“Oh, my god! Your fleet is truly powerful!” After watching the battle, Webber couldn't help but exclaim.

He was also in the navy and knew very well that the United States of America's fleet could not do this.

“Colonel Webber, there's no need to be surprised, this is just a small scene,” Tannai Zhifu boasted.

Webber gave a thumbs up and said no more.

Three more hours, and the fleet arrived at the United States of America's second-largest city: Los Angeles.

The fleet landed at Long Beach.

Due to the many buildings, the patrol ships raised to a certain height.

“Colonel Webber, my intuition tells me that the problem is very serious! Look, we haven't encountered any interception so far,” Tannai Zhifu said.

“I think it must be due to communication disruption,” Webber said with a frown.

He couldn't possibly admit that his country was gone, could he?

As a military general of the United States of America, he had to maintain a sense of superiority at all times.

He was half right; the United States of America currently had no ability to monitor the coastline, but their arrival was already known to the military.

That was because in the Searles Valley, north of Los Angeles, there was an officially built survivor gathering place, numbered: 19. So everyone also called it District 19.

“Tannai, what's your plan next?” Webber asked curiously as he walked in the park.

“I've already said, our plan is to collect crystalss. This can only be done at night, so the daytime is for rest,” Tannai said.

“Alright. But I think you should first try to contact the council,” Webber said.

“Colonel Webber is right, but we don't need to do this,” Tannai Zhifu replied.

“I'm very curious, what will you do if the council disagrees?”

Webber's question was a bit sensitive.

“Colonel Webber, let me offer a word of advice, curiosity… kills the cat!” Tannai Zhifu stared at him very seriously and warned.

“Alright.” Webber shrugged and said no more.

As soon as the sun set, everyone was ready.

Opening the portable purifiers, the Holy Envoys made some strange sounds to attract the zombies out.

At the same time, many iron cages were lowered from the ship's hold.

Inside were 3rd-tier Zombies.

All these zombies obeyed the Holy Envoys' commands.

“Roar~”

With a roar from the zombie, the zombies in the city gathered as if they had received some kind of summons.

“Hiss hiss hiss~”

As long as they walked within 500 meters of the purifier, they would automatically fall to the ground and then decompose, finally turning into crystalss.

This scene directly refreshed Webber's worldview.

Were these still the zombies they feared?

“How are they so fragile?”

“How did they do it?”

Webber's mind was full of questions.

But he didn't dare to ask now.
