86: Chapter 86: First Encounter with the Red Sect

The night passed without incident.

Oriental Chen woke up, stood up, and stretched lazily.

A prompt sound came from his ear. He opened his Digital Eye, which showed a large number of call requests and unread messages.

They were all asking where he was. He did not reply but closed the dialogue window.

He was confined in a metal cage, and his hands and feet had been bound. But such tricks could not stump him. In fact, for him, such a cage and such a basement could not trap him.

He was just waiting, waiting for the people who kidnapped him to come and see him.

He was even a little excited and anticipatory, feeling that this was more fun.

Soon, the room door opened. A Masked Man in a deep red cloak entered, accompanied by several burly men.

It was indeed the Red Coat Sect!

The group walked to the cage where Oriental Chen was held and stopped. The Masked Man spoke:

“It seems you have some strength!”

It could be heard that the Masked Man’s voice was a little hoarse.

“Your eyesight is good!” Oriental Chen replied.

“Interesting, what is your name?”

“Before asking others, shouldn’t you introduce yourself?” Oriental Chen retorted.

“Everyone calls me God’s Emissary. You can call me Lord God’s Emissary,” the Masked Man said.

“God’s Emissary? What a grand title, you don’t even dare to say your real name?” Oriental Chen thought, then spoke:

“Everyone calls me Boss. You can call me that too.”

“Heh heh, young man, I’m afraid you haven’t figured out your situation yet!” The God’s Emissary said with slight displeasure, half-threateningly.

“Oh? Then tell me, what is my situation?” Oriental Chen retorted.

“Brat, I think you’re asking for a beating!” The burly man next to him scolded.

The Masked Man raised his hand to stop him, then said:

“You all go out. I want to talk to him alone.”

The burly men hesitated slightly, then bowed and said in unison:

“Yes!”

After speaking, they turned and exited, closing the door behind them.

“Young man, do you know why you were invited here?”

“Are you sure it was an invitation? Are all members of your Red Coat Sect so impolite?”

“Oh? It seems you really do know about the Red Coat Sect. Then things are much simpler. You killed Mei Wenhua, didn’t you?” The Masked Man went straight to the point.

“Then you’ve wronged someone. Mei Wenhua was shot by the Suiyang Anbu. It has nothing to do with me,” Oriental Chen denied everything.

From this sentence, he understood that his exposure was somewhat related to the Suiyang Anbu.

“In my opinion, there’s no difference. Mei Wenhua was a small fry; his death is nothing. What I want to know is, how did you control those spiders?”

Oriental Chen frowned. The problem was a bit serious.

Were there Red Coat Sect members present at the time? How did they know about the spiders?

Clearly, the other party was asking this on purpose, implying that they had already gathered a lot of information about him.

The Masked Man observed the change in Oriental Chen’s expression and was slightly pleased.

However, he quickly adjusted and said:

“You will know this later. But it’s probably much simpler than your Spirit Summoning Technique.” Oriental Chen returned the favor, throwing out a clue of his own.

“You know the Spirit Summoning Technique?” The Masked Man was clearly surprised and began to lose his composure.

“I don’t know! Just messing with you. Stop talking about useless things. Tell me your purpose. I’m in a hurry and don’t have time to waste here with you.” Oriental Chen retreated after one strike. From the other party’s reaction, he concluded that a character like the God’s Emissary was not a very high-ranking position in the Red Coat Sect, and he had little interest in continuing the conversation.

“I originally wanted to recruit you into the Red Coat Sect, but now it seems you know too much, and I can no longer let you live!” The God’s Emissary said viciously.

“Your Red Coat Sect doesn’t have that much prestige, and you certainly don’t,” Oriental Chen found it amusing. It was like a little devil trying to show off in front of the King of Hell, making a fool of himself.

“Prepare to die!” After saying this, the Masked Man pushed his hands forward like claws.

At the same time, two blood-red curtains flew out from the deep red cloak behind him, one left and one right, flying towards Oriental Chen’s cage. The curtains were wide and long, spinning and wrapping around the cage until the entire cage was wrapped like a zongzi.

A faint bloody aura emanated from the curtains.

“Warning! A large amount of hallucinogen detected in the body. Automatic decomposition program has begun to activate.”

“Liver function has been increased to 300%…”

“Heart function has been increased to 280%…”

“Blood flow rate has been increased to 200%…”

“Lung function inhibited to 30%…”

The panel in the Digital Eye automatically activated, filled with red text and numerical prompts.

This was a life-sign monitoring system that Xiao Lin had the Special Equipment Research and Development Chamber customize for Oriental Chen. The entire system consisted of a central control unit the size of a capsule and 2 million nanometer sensor robots. These 2 million nanometer sensor robots were distributed throughout Oriental Chen’s organs.

When some of the nanometer sensor robots detected abnormal life signs, they would transmit the abnormal data to the central control unit. The central control unit would make specific responses based on the danger level and threat type, and then issue commands to the corresponding nanometer sensor robots.

Upon receiving the commands, the nanometer sensor robots would perform corresponding operations, such as enhancing cardiopulmonary function, boosting organ metabolic function, and stimulating the lymphatic system.
