132: Chapter 132 Training Rules

This explanation lasted for 4 hours.

Part of that time was also used to answer everyone's questions.

At the same time, the planes dispatched by the base also flew back one after another.

More and more people gathered in the square outside.

17:30 PM.

Oriental Chen led 10 instructors to the high platform in the middle of the square.

"Hello everyone, my name is Oriental Chen, and I am the chief instructor here. It's a pleasure to meet you all."

"I believe that before you set off, you already knew the purpose of coming here. At the same time, I also know that you all have your own goals and plans. This is your hope, and it is also my hope. I don't care what kind of people you used to be, or what experiences you've had. I deeply regret those misfortunes, but I will not sympathize. Because we are all the same, all ordinary people striving to survive in this apocalypse. At the same time, I also suggest that you should let go of the past and move forward unburdened. Use action, perseverance, and faith to fight for your future, to fight for the future of all people, that is our collective future."

...

"Alright, that's enough talk. Next, I'll introduce the training process."

240 new trainees were randomly divided into 40 groups, with 6 people per group.

Two scoring methods were adopted: group scoring and individual scoring.

Groups and individuals who completed the predetermined tasks during the training would be rewarded with points based on their task completion.

Groups and individuals would be ranked in real-time based on their total scores.

No one would be eliminated during the training, but groups and individuals would be categorized based on their scores.

Group categorization methods are as follows:

Top 10 groups: Diamond Group;

11th-20th groups: Gold Group;

21st-30th groups: Silver Group;

31st-40th groups: Bronze Group;

Individual categorization methods are as follows:

Top 60 trainees: Diamond Tier;

61st-120th trainees: Gold Tier;

121st-180th trainees: Silver Tier;

181st-240th trainees: Bronze Tier;

The training is divided into 4 stages:

First stage: Warm-up stage. The main training objective of this stage is to enable every trainee to adapt to physical fitness in actual combat, learn combat methods and tactics, become familiar with weapons and equipment, and establish team collaboration thinking.

Second stage: Group adjustment stage. Since the members of each group are randomly assigned, there will be situations where the overall skill levels are uneven. In the actual combat training of this stage, the members of each group will be frequently adjusted to achieve a match between group level and member level.

The adjustment method is as follows: First, based on the trainees' current rankings, they will be regrouped from highest to lowest. Then, trainees whose rankings have improved will be moved to higher-level groups, and those whose rankings have decreased will be moved to lower-level groups, until the members of each group are relatively stable.

Third stage: Group finalization stage. Differentiated training will be conducted based on group levels. Higher-level groups will have greater training intensity and more difficult tasks, while lower-level groups will have less training intensity and easier tasks. In this stage, the scores of the groups will widen. If any trainees cannot adapt or fall behind, minor adjustments will be made based on the situation.

Fourth stage: Sprint stage. This is divided into two training methods: drills and actual combat. Drills will primarily involve group confrontations, while actual combat will involve executing real missions.

After the training, task assignments will be made based on each trainee's performance, strength, and individual characteristics.

...

The introduction of the training content was completed by 20:00 PM.

The square was as bright as day under the illumination of several searchlights.

"Next, we will proceed with random grouping. Please listen carefully for your name and group number, and stand in the corresponding queue. I will now begin to call out names:" Rong Po shouted.

"Group 1: Liu Zhenping, Miao Hairong, ..."

At that moment, Rong Po read through the list, and those whose names were called quickly stepped forward and ran to their corresponding groups.

After the group assignments were completed, the next step was the injection of Antigen Serum.

Injecting the antigen was something everyone dreamed of. Originally, they thought they would only qualify for the injection if they performed exceptionally well, but they never expected that everyone would receive it.

This made everyone incredibly excited.

It's hard to imagine the physical and mental torment a person endures when living under the constant terrifying shadow of potential infection. For them, injecting the antigen meant gaining the qualification to survive in this apocalypse.

After the antigen injection, for safety, an overnight observation was still required.

Many temporary tents had already been set up in the square, and they rested in those tents.

Rong Po arranged for 8 instructors, with each responsible for 5 groups, and one instructor serving as Rong Po's assistant. All 10 people performed their respective duties.

An hour later, the group members gathered at their respective instructors' locations to announce the rules and distribute equipment.

Currently, the trainees' equipment only consisted of ordinary camouflage uniforms and a pair of Combat Suit.

...

The next morning, the training officially began.

For the first 10 days, everyone mainly focused on formation drills and theoretical classes in their respective camps, and time passed quickly.

10 days later, April 12, 2055.

The trainees received new equipment: the Guardian Type 2 Combat Suit.

Why were Type 2 Combat Suit issued directly? On one hand, there was no difference in protective performance between Type 1 and Type 2. On the other hand, Oriental Chen had already shut down the production line for Type 1 long ago, and currently only produces Type 2. In the future, Type 1 Combat Suit will no longer be sold externally.
