260: Chapter 260 How to sell aircraft

“Target confirmed. Commence retrieval?”

Yan Zhengping clicked start.

The entire retrieval process didn't require manual intervention; authorization was sufficient.

On the radar screen, blue dots of varying sizes indicated the distribution of fish schools in the nearby waters. It was clear that five or six large fish were swimming around.

The aircraft automatically locked onto the nearest large fish, and its probe was released.

“Target locked. Releasing probe.”

Subsequently, a yellow dot appeared on the screen, continuously approaching the locked target.

Within 2 minutes, the probe's yellow dot was very close to the large fish.

“Attention, spear will be released shortly. Please be prepared.”

“5, 4, 3, 2, 1, spear launched.”

Immediately after, the aircraft began to experience slight shaking.

This was because the large fish started thrashing after being hit, and the aircraft adjusted its thrusters in all directions to maintain real-time stability.

This slight shaking lasted for less than a minute before stabilizing. The microrobots released by the spear had already damaged the fish's brain nerves, and the large fish was dead.

“Target captured. Preparing for retrieval,” the electronic voice prompted.

“Warning, other fish are approaching. Preparing to release sonar,” the electronic voice prompted as an unexpected situation arose.

It was likely that the large fish's blood, released after being hit, attracted other fish in the vicinity.

“Is it alright?” Yan Zhengping asked.

He wasn't worried about the aircraft's stability, but rather about losing the large fish he had just acquired.

“It's fine. We just need to watch,” Oriental Chen said.

Artificial intelligence had a significant advantage in design processes; fatal errors were almost non-existent.

Soon, the sonar was deployed into the water, and the released ultrasonic waves quickly drove away the other fish nearby.

After all, being in the Yangtze River, this fish wasn't too large. The cutter divided it into two parts, allowing it to successfully enter the feeding port.

Once the retrieval was complete, the aircraft began to ascend, flying towards the Southwest Military Region.

This fish would be fully processed into feed during the flight.

Yan Zhengping had understood the entire process of retrieving mutated animals, so there was no need for him to stay. His urgent purpose in returning to the Southwest Military Region was to see the finished feed.

An hour later, the aircraft successfully returned.

After disembarking, Yan Zhengping eagerly went to the finished product compartment at the tail.

In a corner of the warehouse, more than forty vacuum-sealed bags were neatly arranged. These bags were processed into standard rectangular shapes, making them easy to stack and secure. He took out a bag, tore open the seal, and inside were small granules the size of soybeans. They felt substantial in his hand, clearly rich in oil.

The mutated Ants, being smaller, only yielded four bags of feed, while the large fish, being heavier, produced nearly 40 bags.

The feed produced by the Ants and the fish were identical in shape and similar in density. The only differences were in smell and color.

The fish feed had a slight fishy smell and was similar in color to soybeans.

The Ants feed had a slightly strange, unpleasant smell and a color similar to coffee beans.

“This is much better than expected. At least these finished products still look like feed,” Yan Zhengping grabbed a handful, examined it, and smelled it.

The fact that he could touch and smell them indicated that these finished products were definitely up to standard.

“It's not just that they look like feed; they are genuinely good stuff. Their nutritional value is much higher than that of crops,” Oriental Chen said.

Yan Zhengping nodded in agreement.

Made purely from meat, it was definitely high in protein.

“Will there be any problems if rats eat this long-term?” Yan Zhengping asked.

“Don't worry, it's all been sterilized, and the process is food-grade. And because the animal bones and exoskeletons are all ground and integrated into the feed, rats won't experience any digestive problems even with long-term consumption. Not just rats, humans can eat it without any issues either,” Oriental Chen said, smiling at him.

Yan Zhengping nodded.

“So, your plan is to sell this aircraft directly?” Yan Zhengping asked.

“Yes,” Oriental Chen replied.

“What's the price?” Yan Zhengping asked.

“20 million crystalss, internal price!” Oriental Chen said.

Yan Zhengping nodded, not answering.

This price was cheaper than he expected. He knew that a single fighter jet in their Military Region was worth billions of Huaguo currency, and this aircraft was equipped with a total of 12 anti-gravity engines—8 at the bottom and 4 on the sides—meaning its technological content definitely far surpassed that of a fighter jet. Selling it for only 20 million crystalss was absolutely not expensive.

However, he simply couldn't afford 20 million crystalss.

“I don't have that many crystalss,” Yan Zhengping admitted frankly.

“I know you don't have that many crystalss. I have two transaction plans for you to choose from,” Oriental Chen said with a smile.

Yan Zhengping smiled and shook his head, completely understanding. This Oriental Chen had long thought about how to empty his wallet.

“Alright, then tell me,” Yan Zhengping accepted. He had no other choice but to listen to his plan.
