257: Chapter 257: Not Your Style

"Activate the aircraft, destination Southwest Military Region," Oriental Chen said.

"Aircraft activated, performing identity verification."

"Identity verification complete, planning route."

"Route planning complete, please confirm."

A map appeared on the electronic screen, with the route and destination marked by yellow lines.

"Confirm," Oriental Chen said.

"Starting engine, engine started. Main thrusters normal, control program normal, energy reserves sufficient."

"Aircraft is about to take off, all personnel please take your positions, please fasten your seatbelts."

"Main thrusters activated, landing gear successfully retracted."

As a series of electronic sounds from the dashboard finished, Oriental Chen already felt the acceleration of the aircraft lifting upwards.

Because the aircraft was very heavy, the acceleration was not very great; it felt like riding an elevator upstairs.

After receiving the takeoff command, the skylight on the roof of the underground hangar at the base slowly opened to both sides, and the aircraft successfully flew out of the base.

The bottom of the capture aircraft was equipped with 8 anti-gravity engines, making flight effortless when the aircraft was empty. Coupled with the side thrusters, it could still achieve decent acceleration.

On the way, Oriental Chen contacted Yan Zhengping in advance.

If he did not notify him beforehand, he might be intercepted early when entering the Military Region's airspace.

Upon receiving the news, Yan Zhengping quickly rushed to the airport.

He was already impatient to learn about the feed.

An hour later, the plane entered his field of vision.

"What is this thing?" Yan Zhengping observed with binoculars.

This was not the plane Oriental Chen had previously flown.

Oriental Chen also did not tell him that this aircraft was used to produce feed.

The plane was getting closer and closer.

The soldiers waiting at the airport could already clearly see what the aircraft looked like.

It was a standard rectangular prism.

There were no wings, and it wasn't even a streamlined design.

"Can this thing even fly?" Everyone had this question.

The planes they knew were full of streamlined beauty and fully conformed to aerodynamics.

But what the hell was this thing in front of them? It looked like a giant container flying directly in the sky, appearing somewhat comical.

As the aircraft was about to reach the airport, the front thrusters began to provide reverse thrust to decelerate. Finally, the aircraft hovered steadily above the airport.

There was no noise, no huge airflow; it just seemed to float there.

Then the plane slowly descended, the landing gear opened, and it landed firmly on the ground.

The landing gear contained hydraulic devices that provided cushioning, so the landing was also exceptionally smooth.

After the aircraft had stopped, the gangway lowered, and Oriental Chen slowly walked out.

"Xiao Chen, why is your plane built like this?" Yan Zhengping went up to him and asked.

"Commander Yan, isn't this plane good?" Oriental Chen asked with a smile.

"It looks quite sturdy, but this thing isn't practical," Commander Yan commented.

"Oh? Commander Yan also understands planes? Then tell me, why isn't it practical?" Oriental Chen asked.

"Firstly, planes need to be streamlined to reduce drag, increase speed and stability, and save fuel," Commander Yan said.

"Commander Yan, my plane isn't a fighter jet; it doesn't need to fly that fast. The most important thing is for it to be stable, perfectly stable," Oriental Chen said.

"Perfectly stable? Then you might as well ride in a sedan chair," Commander Yan scoffed.

"Hey! Commander Yan is right about that, it really does look like a sedan chair," Oriental Chen said with a laugh.

"Alright, alright, whatever makes you happy!" Commander Yan was too lazy to waste words with him.

"You said on the phone that the feed production line has been built?" Commander Yan asked the question he was concerned about.

"That's right, it's built," Oriental Chen said.

"Quickly tell me, what's the price of this feed? Did you bring any samples?" Commander Yan asked.

"I'm not selling feed!" Oriental Chen deliberately kept him in suspense.

He was making him pay for saying his plane wasn't good.

"What? Not selling? Why did you come here if you're not selling?" Commander Yan grew anxious.

"I just came to show you my newly developed plane," Oriental Chen said with a smile.

"Alright, I've seen the plane, you can go back!" Commander Yan lost interest, turned his head, and prepared to leave, not wanting to stay there any longer, feeling it was a waste of time.

"Commander Yan, you change your mind faster than flipping a book!" Oriental Chen was not in a hurry.

"I'm only concerned about the feed now, don't mention anything else to me," Commander Yan said unhappily.

"I'm not selling feed, but, I am selling the production line," Oriental Chen said unhurriedly.

"You're not selling... what? What did you say? You're selling the production line?" Commander Yan was about to retort, but when he heard him say he was selling the production line, his eyes widened instantly.

"That's right, what's wrong?" Oriental Chen asked, feigning ignorance.

"It's not like you! Not at all!" Commander Yan shook his head.

"What's not like me? Not like what?" Oriental Chen asked.

"This isn't your usual way of doing things," Commander Yan said.

"Not my usual way of doing things? How so?" Oriental Chen asked with a smile.
