597: Chapter 597: You Will Take Your Own Risk

“Order Shi Rongchang’s unit and Rad Adan’s unit to move towards the southern shore of the Caspian Sea and lie in wait. If they land on the southern shore, let them pass for now,” the Master commanded.

“Yes!” two Elders replied in unison.

“Fu Huai, contact the Ulan Neutral Zone and demand their immediate withdrawal from Mordo territory,” the Master instructed.

“Yes!” an Elder saluted and then departed.

“Commander, Mordo requests a call,” Xiao Lin reported.

“Connect it,” Oriental Chen replied.

“Mr. Dongfang, your country’s warships have entered our territory without cause. Please provide an explanation,” the person on the other side, wearing a mask, asked, their identity unknown.

“Who are you?” Oriental Chen asked.

“Mordo Mordo’s Guishu Hall, Fu Huai,” the other party replied.

The Mordo Moni Sect’s main headquarters has five major departments: the Battle Department, the Beast Department, the Law Department, the Art Department, and the Secret Department.

These five major departments currently oversee 108 Elder Halls, each with its own name.

The second character in the Elder Hall’s name is fixed, used to distinguish which department it belongs to.

For example, Fu Huai’s Guishu Hall has ‘shu’ as its second character, indicating from its name that it belongs to the Art Department.

The Elder Hall where Ling Yue, Ling Luo, and Ling Wu are located is the Yu Beast Hall, which belongs to the Beast Department.

The Elder Hall where Ling Tian and Ling Su are located is the Min Beast Hall, also belonging to the Beast Department.

This is why Ling Yue and his fellow disciples do not know Ling Tian and Ling Su, as they belong to different Elder Halls.

The Elder Hall where Putian Xiaoyezi is located is the Yi Zhan Hall, which belongs to the Battle Department.

Each Elder Hall has one Hall Master Elder and several Guest Elders.

The direct disciples of an Elder are collectively known as Saint Lords, and there are also several subordinates assisting the Saint Lords, collectively known as Envoys.

Saint Lords have the right to recruit and train several Saint Sons, but Envoys do not have this right.

However, Oriental Chen does not yet understand these details.

“Guishu Hall? What department is that? Never heard of it,” Oriental Chen said, showing no respect.

“Mr. Dongfang, since you claim to be a Neutral Zone, yet you have privately entered another country’s territory, isn’t that overstepping your bounds?” Fu Huai’s tone was very firm.

In his heart, he held no hope that Oriental Chen would withdraw his troops.

He was merely going through the motions, fulfilling his duty to notify them.

“If I recall correctly, when the Ulan Neutral Zone was established, you made no statement whatsoever, did you? I assumed you did not acknowledge our legitimate status,” Oriental Chen picked apart his words.

“No more nonsense. You have 24 hours to withdraw, or it will be considered an act of war against Mordo,” Fu Huai said.

“Can you represent Mordo’s official opinion?” Oriental Chen did not take the bait.

“This is the official opinion,” Fu Huai replied.

“How do you prove it?” Oriental Chen asked.

“The message has been delivered. If you do not withdraw, you will bear the consequences!” Fu Huai said no more and cut off the communication.

Oriental Chen directly ignored his warning.

It was currently 10 AM, and the battle had been ongoing for four hours.

Currently, the two routes of Okkhung warships had converged and were retreating towards the northern Caspian Sea’s southern shore.

The Egula Maya Combined Fleet had already departed Mordo, their current location being the central Caspian Sea region.

To prevent Okkhung’s warships from secretly escaping, Oriental Chen had no choice but to abandon attacking the Mordo warships stationed on the southern shore and instead sailed south.

He needed to clear an eastward passage for Okkhung, guiding them towards the interior.

What if Okkhung’s warships escaped Mordo? They would surely never return, and how could that be allowed?

These were all secondary matters; his primary mission was to find Mordo’s altar.

The most difficult part was not knowing the form of Mordo’s sacrificial ceremony, whether an altar truly existed, or what it looked like.

The Bee Queen, concealed in the communication tunnel, used her remaining crystals energy to create a large number of miniature reconnaissance robots, which had begun a wide-ranging investigation of Mordo’s surface, currently yielding no results.

“It seems we must use the ‘lure the snake out of its hole’ strategy,” Oriental Chen decided to test the waters.

He planned to have Putian Xiaoyezi lead the way to find their Elder Hall first.

Putian Xiaoyezi did not know that Oriental Chen had monitoring capabilities, so his guard was naturally not very strong.

But the current problem was that he could not contact him directly.

Because once he contacted him, it would expose his ability to communicate.

So now, he could only indirectly contact him through the warships within Mordo’s territory.

“Mr. Putian Xiaoyezi, I am entrusted by Mr. Dongfang to convey an order to you. Please reply if you receive it,” Oriental Chen sent a message through one of the three warships on the western route.

Upon receiving the message, Putian Xiaoyezi was somewhat troubled.

Now he could choose to play dumb, believing that Oriental Chen couldn’t possibly know.

However, doing so might mean missing the opportunity to gain new intelligence.

Between the pros and cons, he was momentarily unsure how to weigh them.

So, naturally, he reported to the Elder Hall.

The Elder Hall’s reply was:

You may reply to ascertain their next plan.
