274: Chapter 274: The man from the Industrial Research Institute was defeated

"Oh, right, what did you come here for today?"

"Feed!" Yan Zhengping glanced at him and said loudly.

"Oh, right, right, right, feed! Did you manage to produce the rat feed?" Zongzheng Yue finally reacted and asked curiously.

"It's done." Yan Zhengping nodded and took out two plastic bags from his own bag.

The two bags contained samples of feed made from mutated fish and mutated Antss, respectively.

"Two kinds?" Zongzheng Yue took them, looked at them, and asked.

"Actually, it's one kind, just made from different raw materials," Yan Zhengping replied.

Zongzheng Yue opened the bags, took out a few pellets, looked at them, and smelled them.

"What materials are they made from?" Zongzheng Yue asked.

"Mutated Antss," Yan Zhengping replied.

"Mutated Antss?" Zongzheng Yue's eyes widened.

"That's right." Yan Zhengping nodded.

"The rats won't have any problems after eating them, will they?" Zongzheng Yue asked, somewhat incredulously.

"No, they've been completely pulverized and sterilized at high temperatures." Yan Zhengping repeated Oriental Chen's explanation.

"How will these be sold?" Zongzheng Yue asked.

"Two options, you can choose which one you prefer." Yan Zhengping held up two fingers and explained.

"The first option: direct purchase of feed. The purchase price is 12 crystalss per bag, with each bag weighing 50 jin."

"The second option: cooperative production, with costs shared according to each party's usage."

Yan Zhengping's quote wasn't as exorbitant as before because Oriental Chen had already reminded him that feed was not a monopoly business and wasn't suitable for high pricing.

"What does cooperative production mean?" Zongzheng Yue asked.

"It means we'll produce it together," Yan Zhengping said.

"You mean we can produce the feed ourselves?" Zongzheng Yue asked, incredulously.

He knew what kind of person Oriental Chen was; would he not earn crystalss if he had the chance? It was simply impossible. This question was exactly the same as Yan Zhengping's at the time.

"That's right," Yan Zhengping affirmed.

"That guy is willing?" Zongzheng Yue continued to ask.

"This is the plan he proposed," Yan Zhengping explained.

So Yan Zhengping explained the feed processing procedure and the key issues involved.

After listening, Zongzheng Yue also understood. It turned out that Oriental Chen wasn't unwilling to earn money, but rather had found a different way to earn it. He wanted to earn crystalss but didn't want to work too hard; he was probably the only one like that in the world.

"If we cooperate on production, how exactly will the cooperation work?" Zongzheng Yue continued to ask.

"Oriental Chen will take 10 crystalss per bag of feed until the cost of the aircraft is fully repaid. The cooperation method is that the aircraft costs are shared equally, and the produced feed is distributed equally," Yan Zhengping said.

His quote was completely unprofitable; it merely reduced the pressure and risk.

Zongzheng Yue nodded, indicating he understood.

"Alright, let's do that then. We'll start as soon as possible." Zongzheng Yue quickly made up his mind after a brief calculation.

"Oh, right, Old Yan, you'll have to arrange some breeding rats for me," Zongzheng Yue said.

"Okay, but I'll only sell you a maximum of 100,000; you'll have to cultivate the rest slowly," Yan Zhengping agreed.

He deliberately emphasized the words "sell to you," meaning to tell him that it wouldn't be free.

Zongzheng Yue nodded, naturally understanding.

...

Binjiang City, Huatong Chamber of Commerce, underground base.

The man from the Gongyan Institute had arrived early in the morning with a group of people.

"Sir, who are you looking for?" The Chamber of Commerce's receptionist wasn't the one from yesterday, and she didn't recognize the man, so she asked as a matter of routine.

"You continue with your work. I'm going directly to see Niu Xingwang." The man saw that the receptionist wasn't the person from yesterday and wasn't surprised, as the time he arrived today was different from yesterday.

"Hey, sir. Do you have an appointment? If not, you can't go in." The woman saw the man walking straight in and quickly ran over to block him.

"Get out of the way!" The man was annoyed.

He had come today to take over the management rights of the Chamber of Commerce, so he didn't want to lose his temper. But the receptionist's stubbornness ignited his anger.

"Sir, I'm sorry, I cannot let you in." The woman still refused to budge.

"Who are you people, daring to cause trouble at the Huatong Chamber of Commerce? Do you have a death wish?" Just then, a man walked over with several others, scolding as he walked.

The newcomers were Zhang Yuankui and the Mercenary Guild's security personnel.

"And who are you?" The man looked at Zhang Yuankui and asked.

"Celestial Fiend, Guild Master of the Mercenary Guild," Zhang Yuankui said.

"I'm handling the internal affairs of the Chamber of Commerce, please leave," the man said coldly.

"Who are you? Since when do you get to handle the internal affairs of the Huatong Chamber of Commerce?" Zhang Yuankui asked forcefully.

"I am the largest shareholder of the Huatong Chamber of Commerce," the man said.

"Shareholder? Sorry, I've never heard of such a thing as a 'shareholder' in the Chamber of Commerce." Zhang Yuankui didn't buy it at all.

How could a shareholder be a "thing"? This was clearly an insult.

"You!" The man forcibly suppressed his anger.
