589: Chapter 589 Familiar Building

Cai Liquan and his five warships had landed half an hour ago.

The mantis formations outside remained motionless, standing quietly as if intently staring at their prey.

India-Pakistan's reply was delayed and they were still on their way.

This bizarre behavior in such a formal setting left Cai Liquan speechless.

After another half an hour of waiting, their reception personnel finally arrived.

This made Cai Liquan even more dumbfounded.

These reception personnel were each riding a large spider.

No wonder they were late; they had all walked over.

These spiders were very large, capable of having seats installed on their backs.

Proportionally, their height probably exceeded 4 meters.

Cai Liquan and his group, for safety reasons, all donned their armor before disembarking.

The reception personnel did not apologize, likely believing that being late was a normal occurrence.

They also brought many spiders for Cai Liquan and others to ride.

However, Cai Liquan decisively refused.

This thing was covered in bristles and looked incredibly repulsive; he would die before sitting on it.

Fortunately, they brought mechs, which could transform into vehicle mode, each capable of seating 4 people.

The spiders carrying the reception personnel led the way, followed by the mechs, with a circle of mantis army guarding the perimeter, slowly moving towards the Mordo city area.

This procession was truly too slow, barely faster than walking.

Logically, insects' movement speed should not be slow at all; their slow pace was likely a matter of etiquette.

In this manner, six hours later, they finally reached their destination, Mount Aihli, north of Mordo city.

"This is..." Oriental Chen was astonished by the towering building in the distance.

Not astonished by its grandeur, but by its familiarity.

He had seen this thing before; there was also one in Ger County in the Lasa region.

Before the heavy snowfall, scorpions would continuously emerge from there.

"So it's them!" Oriental Chen understood; the giant scorpion building in Ger County was their doing.

Thus, India-Pakistan's stance seemed even more problematic.

Cai Liquan and his group were led into this massive building.

As soon as they entered, communication was immediately cut off, and Oriental Chen couldn't see what was happening inside.

The rest of the matter could only rely on Cai Liquan himself.

Cai Liquan was also bewildered.

He had never seen this colossal building and was unaware of the situation in the Lasa region. Now, with communication to the base cut off, he was very flustered.

The main purposes of this visit were two: first, to inquire about the true situation of India-Pakistan, and second, to see their attitude towards Mordo's grand sacrificial ceremony.

Without Oriental Chen's prompts from behind, he could only improvise now.

...

Evening of January 19, 2057 AD.

Putian Xiaoyezi had already transported the warships to the designated locations as per Oriental Chen's request and returned to Damascus.

Actually, these locations had no specific meaning; they were merely to cover the Bee Queen's drop points during the voyage.

"Mr. Dongfang, all the warships have been taken there, but some issues arose during the process."

"What issues?" Oriental Chen asked.

"These Okshung warships were dropping items to the ground throughout the journey, and this behavior attracted the attention of the Elder Hall."

Originally, Putian Xiaoyezi could have concealed this matter, but she chose to reveal it now, simply to probe and understand their purpose in doing so.

She already knew the Elder Hall's analysis results.

The boxes contained crudely made detectors, and from the workmanship, they were certainly not Oriental Chen's.

"Don't worry about it; it has nothing to do with us," Oriental Chen said indifferently, not at all curious.

This made Putian Xiaoyezi even more convinced that Okshung was merely playing a small trick, attempting to use Oriental Chen to gather information about Mordo, but their plan was simply too crude.

The Elder Hall endorsed this inference because such actions were highly consistent with Okshung's behavior.

Their minds were not very sharp, and they were often careless and unthinking in their actions.

"What do we do next?" Putian Xiaoyezi asked.

After asking, her heart sank slightly, feeling that her words were a bit too proactive.

If Oriental Chen were to think she was prying for information, it would be extremely unfavorable.

"You depart now and immediately move all those warships to the Shalan region on the Mordo-Indian border," Oriental Chen commanded.

"Ah?" Putian Xiaoyezi was stunned.

"Depart immediately!" Oriental Chen roared.

"Yes!" Putian Xiaoyezi dared not utter another word.

She immediately reported the matter to the Elder Hall and quickly received a reply.

The Elder Hall scolded Putian Xiaoyezi for being too eager for success and asking too many questions. Oriental Chen's order stemmed from suspicion, wanting to see if those warships still existed.

If the warships were gone, it would mean Putian Xiaoyezi had a problem.

Putian Xiaoyezi breathed a sigh of relief; fortunately, the warships were still there.
