454: Chapter 454: The Revival of Mayan Civilization

Oriental Chen remembered very clearly that he had learned in history class when he was in school that the Maya Civilization might have been a highly developed human civilization.

Much of the knowledge they possessed in astronomy, calendar systems, art, and technology has yet to be fully deciphered.

For ancient civilizations from thousands of years ago, the pace of technological development should have been very slow. Yet, in this regard, the Maya Civilization behaved extremely abnormally.

"Hmm? That's not right!"

Oriental Chen suddenly recalled that among the several super political entities that had appeared in the world recently, one seemed to be related to the Maya Civilization.

"Xiao Lin, was there a super political entity called Maya that was established recently?" Oriental Chen asked.

"Yes, Commander. This super political entity is called the Maya United Empire, located in the central part of the American continent," Xiao Lin replied.

"Indeed!" Oriental Chen understood.

The only question now was, where did these people come from? And why had he never heard of them before?

Through divergent thinking, Oriental Chen realized that the Egula Democratic Republic that appeared on the African continent might also be in a similar situation.

This could explain why these super political entities became silent after their establishment.

It turned out that they were not merely simple political alliances between multiple countries, but rather more like the resurgence of an ancient civilization.

It had been previously discovered that the Tasman Empire on the Australia continent might have originated from an insect civilization 350 million years ago.

Combining this with today's news, a deeper conclusion could be drawn:

These super political entities might come from modern civilizations, or from very ancient civilizations, or even non-human civilizations.

Once this was understood, new questions arose.

How could these civilizations appear all at the same time?

What was the cause?

One or two could be a coincidence, but so many civilizations appearing simultaneously could not be a coincidence; it must be inevitable.

"It seems further investigation is necessary!"

Having figured this out, this patrol vessel could be put to good use.

"Woosh~"

The Maya people were still studying in the control room when the patrol vessel suddenly started.

All the controllers immediately became fully functional.

Several individuals sat in the pilot seats, maneuvering the spacecraft towards Mexico.

Thirty minutes later, the United States of America's fighter jets arrived, but it was too late.

From Phoenix to the US-Mexico border was only 200 kilometers, and with the warship moving at full speed, it had already reached the border in half an hour.

After the Maya people piloted the patrol vessel into Mexico, they continued south for over 300 kilometers, arriving at a city nestled among mountains: Emosiyue.

This area was now within the sphere of influence of the newly established Maya United Empire.

Oriental Chen carefully observed the surroundings through the screen.

This was a good opportunity to learn about ancient civilizations' forces, so how could he let it slip?

However, he didn't know until he looked, and when he did, he was shocked.

Upon entering Emosiyue, Caucasians and Africans with chains around their necks were visible everywhere.

They were enduring whippings while performing heavy physical labor.

It seemed they were building pyramids here.

The exact purpose of the pyramids has been a subject of much debate throughout history.

But one thing was certain: they were definitely not tombs.

Archaeologists have always continued their research, yet they have never fully understood.

Why did ancient people pay such a huge price to build something that appeared to be useless?

The patrol vessel flew low, and many people stopped to watch.

Subsequently, they landed in an open area in the south of the city.

"High Priest, the item has been brought back!" A young man walked up to the long-haired elder and reported.

The long-haired elder waved his hand, signaling that he was aware and the young man could leave.

Next was the work of a group of craftsmen.

They had gone to great lengths to bring this thing back precisely for this purpose. They wanted to find the method for creating the Energy Shield from it.

Could Oriental Chen allow them to decipher the technology?

That was naturally impossible.

After the warship stabilized, all controllers became completely inoperable.

The Energy Shield simply could not be activated at all.

"Commander, emergency detected!"

"Speak!" Oriental Chen was engrossed when Xiao Lin suddenly reported.

"Detecting that Patrol Vessel No. 2 is under attack, communication signals may be interrupted at any time. Do you wish to activate self-destruct mode?"

"If the signal is interrupted, will the patrol vessel be deciphered?" Oriental Chen asked.

"Possibly," Xiao Lin replied.

"Then activate self-destruct!" Oriental Chen felt a bit unwilling.

It was hard to get deep into enemy territory, and to self-destruct without gathering much information felt like a loss.
