122: Chapter 122: The Talkative Suo Assimilation
“Alright, let’s do that. So what do you think…?” Zongzheng Yue asked.
“How about this, I’ll round it up for you. 8,000 crystalss for 50 Combat Suits, right? You can take another 50 Combat Suits, which will make it exactly 150,000 crystalss. That way, it’s easier to calculate. You can take the 50 Combat Suits with you now, and once the launchers arrive, I’ll arrange for someone to deliver them to you. How does that sound?” Yan Fangfang suggested.
“Alright! Thank you, big niece!” Zongzheng Yue was relieved of a burden and left happily.
Not long after, Suo Tonghua from the Northeast Military Region arrived.
“Big niece, let Uncle see if you’ve become even more beautiful.” His voice floated in before he even entered the room.
Yan Fangfang pressed a hand to her forehead, speechless for a moment.
She felt so embarrassed, yet she didn't dare to say anything.
“Commander Suo!” Yan Fangfang quickly stepped forward to greet him.
“Call me Uncle Suo, why Commander? Look at this girl, she’s being distant, isn’t she?” Suo Tonghua said with a hearty, loud voice.
“Commander Suo, it’s working hours right now.” Yan Fangfang gestured for him to rein it in a bit.
“What about working hours? Is someone gossiping?” Suo Tonghua looked around.
There was no one else in the office besides the two of them.
“Uncle Suo, you came today because…?” Yan Fangfang quickly changed the subject.
“Big niece, let me tell you, I came specifically to bring you something good this time!” Suo Tonghua finished speaking and shouted loudly:
“Bring them in!”
Immediately, two Soldiers entered from outside the door, their military uniforms noticeably thick.
The two Soldiers put down two bags, saluted, and turned to leave.
“Come, come, look, these few are mink fur. You can find a skilled craftsman later and make a mink fur cloak. Let me tell you, wearing this thing is super warm.”
“And this, a few old hens. They’re raised in the Military camp itself, so don’t worry, absolutely no problems!”
“I originally wanted to bring you some old ginseng or something, but then I thought you’re so young, you don’t need that stuff, and wouldn’t it all just benefit Old Yan? So I just didn’t bring it…”
Suo Tonghua rummaged through the bags, taking out one item after another, while chattering endlessly.
“Uncle Suo, how many crystalss do you want to put on credit?” Yan Fangfang stood by, speechless, so she asked directly.
Anyway, the first batch of Combat Suits was on credit; this had already become an unwritten rule.
However, lending a small amount was a favor, but lending too much could easily turn into enmity. So, Yan Fangfang had made up her mind that no matter who came, Combat Suits could be lent, one or two hundred pieces were fine, but any more than that was out of the question.
“Ah, haha, still my clever big niece. Come, sit, sit, sit.” Seeing that Yan Fangfang had already gotten straight to the point, Suo Tonghua felt he could go with the flow.
Yan Fangfang was pulled to sit down again.
“Big niece, do you still have the Combat Suit that your father showed me? Let me tell you, that thing is simply designed specifically for our Northeast Military Region. You don’t know, it’s terribly cold up in the Northeast. Soldiers are all bundled up in three layers inside and three layers outside in winter, greatly reducing their mobility! This Combat Suit, a thin layer is enough to keep warm, it’s simply a blessing for the Soldiers!” Suo Tonghua rambled on.
“200 sets, I’ll lend them to you first!” Yan Fangfang didn’t waste words and went straight to the point.
“Haha, that’s why I say big niece is more generous than old Yan. How could old Yan, who is so stingy, give birth to such a beautiful, intelligent, and understanding daughter?” Suo Tonghua chattered happily.
“Uncle Suo, do you have anything else?” Yan Fangfang was preparing to send him away.
“Oh, right, I heard Old Yan say that you found Zombie Rats here?” Suo Tonghua quickly reined in the topic and returned to business.
“Launchers cannot be put on credit!” Before Suo Tonghua could even get into the topic, Yan Fangfang directly blocked him.
Yan Fangfang knew clearly that the Northeast Military Region probably couldn’t even gather enough crystalss for one launcher at the moment. But even if they couldn’t gather them, she couldn’t lend them for free. If she were to lend them, it would have to be like with Zongzheng Yue, there had to be collateral.
“Hey, Fangfang, look, I just praised you, and in the blink of an eye, your thinking has regressed.” Suo Tonghua pretended to be stern and continued:
“Comrades should understand and help each other. Could Uncle Suo possibly default on your debt?”
Speaking of which, Suo Tonghua’s mood changed faster than flipping a book. If she really lent him the crystalss, she probably wouldn’t see a single one in the end.
However, she wasn’t afraid of lending Combat Suits. In the future, he would still have to buy them, and if he didn't pay then, she wouldn't give him the goods, so wouldn't he have to obediently pay?
“Uncle Suo, how many units do you need over there?” Yan Fangfang completely ignored his words and continued to ask.
“12 units.” Suo Tonghua quickly replied.
“How about this, I’ll just lend you 500 Combat Suits. 12 launchers are 120,000 crystalss, and 500 Combat Suits are 80,000 crystalss, totaling 200,000 crystalss. Uncle Suo, is that right?” Yan Fangfang calculated as she spoke.
“That’s right! I knew it, my big niece is just so straightforward!” Suo Tonghua was overjoyed to hear this.
Yan Fangfang quickly held up a hand to stop him and said:
“Uncle Suo, don’t be in a hurry, I haven’t finished speaking.”
“Oh? Go on.” Suo Tonghua sat in the chair, looking at her.
