535: Chapter 535: Bragging Robot

Half an hour later, the battleship sailed out of the Tarim Basin and entered the Kunlun Mountains.

“Rumble, rumble~”

“Splash, splash~”

A violent sound rang out, and a mountain peak directly ahead grew at a speed visible to the naked eye.

“Commander, look!” Dai Zheng shouted.

“Hmm, I see it,” Oriental Chen replied without turning his head, standing by the window.

“Rumble, rumble~”

“Splash, splash~”

A door opened in the middle of the newly appeared mountain, revealing a huge cave entrance.

The battleship flew directly into the cave entrance.

Everyone’s vision went black, like a train entering a tunnel, seeing nothing.

A feeling of weightlessness came over him, and Oriental Chen knew that the battleship was descending.

Five minutes, ten minutes…

The battleship continued to descend for an hour before stopping.

“Clang, clang, clang, clang~”

Many lights suddenly lit up in the cave, completely dispelling the darkness.

Everyone quickly covered their eyes with their hands.

After adapting to the light, everyone slowly looked out.

“Wow~”

Everyone was collectively speechless.

What greeted their eyes was a circular flying saucer countless times larger than their battleship.

If the flying saucer was as big as a sesame cake, then their battleship was a sesame seed on the sesame cake. This showed how big the flying saucer was.

Why did he know it was a flying saucer?

Because this thing was not much different from the alien flying saucers that appeared in movies.

“Buzz~”

Oriental Chen suddenly disappeared from his original spot.

“Commander!” Dai Zheng shouted.

But it was no use; with a flash of blue light, Oriental Chen was gone.

Dai Zheng peered out the window, but the flying saucer opposite remained still, and he didn't know where the person had gone.

“Buzz~”

With another flash, Oriental Chen appeared in a strange hall.

“Strange, truly strange!”

A floating ovoid robot circled Oriental Chen, making a child's voice as it spun.

Oriental Chen turned his head to the left, then to the right, looking at this strange robot.

“What’s strange?” Oriental Chen asked.

“You're not a Nata Person, so how do you possess their technology?” the child asked.

When Oriental Chen heard this, his head buzzed.

No one knew about this matter except himself.

How did this guy know?

“Your heart rate is accelerating; you seem very nervous,” the robot said.

“How do you know about the Nata People?” Oriental Chen asked.

“Of course I know; there’s nothing that happens on Blue Star that I don’t know about,” the robot said.

“Who are you?” Oriental Chen asked.

“We’ll talk about that later. First, tell me, how do you possess the Nata People’s technology?” the robot asked.

“Didn’t you say there’s nothing on Blue Star that you don’t know about? Why are you still asking me?” Oriental Chen certainly wouldn't speak the truth rashly without knowing the other party’s origin.

“Uh… ah… I admit, there’s a little bit of boasting in that,” the robot said awkwardly.

Since it was a child's voice, it added a touch of humor.

“Did you bring me here?” Oriental Chen asked.

“Yes!” the robot replied.

“Why?” Oriental Chen asked.

“Before I tell you, I need to figure out what your relationship is with those Nata People,” the robot said.

“No relationship,” Oriental Chen replied.

“That’s true. Those guys have been gone for a very, very long time. It’s impossible for you to have a relationship with them,” the robot said.

“How do you know about the Nata People?” Oriental Chen asked.

“Because I’m the one who helped them develop,” the robot said.

“What?” Oriental Chen was startled.

“What's wrong? You scared me!” the robot quickly dodged far away.

“How long have you been here?” Oriental Chen asked.

“In your units of measurement, probably hundreds of thousands of years,” the robot replied.

“Lie! Keep lying! Only hundreds of thousands of years, how could you have seen the Nata People?” Oriental Chen directly exposed his lie.

The Nata People existed 230 million years ago, and he had only been here for hundreds of thousands of years, so the timeline didn’t match.

He now basically concluded that this was just a bragging robot.

“I’m not lying to you. I wasn’t here before; I only came here hundreds of thousands of years ago,” the robot said a little unconvinced.

“Then where were you before?” Oriental Chen asked.

“I’ve been to many places: Mars, Jupiter, Mercury, Venus, and finally here,” the robot replied.

Oriental Chen fell silent.

He suddenly remembered something the Mayans had said.

The High Priest had said that there were once lives on several planets in the Solar System, but they later disappeared.

If the two corroborated, perhaps what this bragging little guy said was true.

“You said the Nata People developed with your help, do you have any evidence?” Oriental Chen asked.

“Hmm… this… actually, it was just some indirect help,” the robot said vaguely.

“…” Oriental Chen was speechless.

It really was a bragging robot.

“Hey! Alright! I’ll tell you the truth: I helped them eliminate the bugs on Blue Star, and that’s how they had a chance to develop,” the robot said truthfully when it saw Oriental Chen’s disbelief.

“Bugs? What bugs?” Oriental Chen asked.

“Just those very disgusting bugs! Haven’t you seen them? The kind that fly with a buzzing sound,” the robot said with a disgusted expression.

It only had a head and no body, but it could still show a disgusted reaction, which was also peculiar.
