41: Chapter 41 Status Review
“Xiao Lin, display the Space Station status.”
“Understood, Commander. The panel has been switched.”
The current Space Station is Level 1, with four modules, as follows:
Power Module (Level 1);
Core Module (Optical Computer Level 1);
Central Hall (Level 1);
Experiment Module (Level 1);
The bottom right corner shows the current status: Upgradeable.
“Xiao Lin, how long will it take to upgrade the Space Station to Level 2?” Oriental Chen asked.
“Commander, the Space Station main program upgrade primarily involves adjusting the pointers of the program valves and does not require too much time. It is estimated that the complete refresh will take 10 minutes. However, upgrading the modules requires Worker Bee Robots to collect materials, which will take a long time,” Xiao Lin explained.
“Does this mean that if the Space Station system’s main program isn’t upgraded, the module levels cannot be increased?” Oriental Chen asked.
“Yes, Commander. The level of the modules cannot exceed the level of the main program.”
“Alright, then let’s upgrade the Space Station main program to Level 2 first,” Oriental Chen said.
“Understood, Commander.”
Immediately after, the Space Station projection on the screen disappeared, showing only one line of text:
Space Station upgrading, please wait…
10 minutes later…
The screen refreshed, and the Space Station’s status reloaded.
Power Module (Level 2);
Core Module (Optical Computer Level 2);
Central Hall (Level 1);
Experiment Module (Level 1);
“Xiao Lin, what should we do next?”
“Commander, I suggest you upgrade the Central Hall first. Only when the Central Hall is upgraded to Level 2 can the Experiment Module be upgraded, and new modules can be expanded.”
“Alright, then let’s upgrade the Central Hall!” Oriental Chen said.
“Understood, Commander.”
Status scrolling appeared in the bottom right corner:
Worker Bee Robots activated 100/100…
Worker Bee Robots dispatched…
Collecting materials…
At the same time, the Central Hall status turned yellow, displaying a large number: 0%.
After dealing with the Space Station matters, Oriental Chen prepared to check the current base status.
“Xiao Lin, switch to the base panel.”
“Understood, Commander, the panel has been switched.”
The current base has the following functions:
Basement Level 1: Living Area (Population: 63/1200).
Basement Level 2: Office Area, Training Area, Medical Area, Isolation Area.
Basement Level 3: Material Storage Area.
Basement Level 4: Hive (Main Control).
Basement Level 5: Power Generation Room.
Basement Level 6: Production Area.
The Production Area primarily includes the following compartments:
Food Category:
7 Wheat Production Compartments, 2 Potato Production Compartments, 2 Cabbage Production Compartments, 1 Pig Breeding Compartment, 1 Hatching Compartment.
Equipment Category:
1 Combat Suit Production Compartment, 1 Weapon Production Compartment, 1 Special Equipment Research and Development Compartment, 1 Simulation Robot Manufacturing Compartment.
Medicine Category:
1 Antigen Serum Production Compartment.
“Xiao Lin, can the number of Antigen Serum Production Compartments be increased?” Oriental Chen asked.
“Apologies, Commander, due to raw material limitations, the number of Antigen Serum Production Compartments cannot be increased,” Xiao Lin replied.
“How can it be increased?” Oriental Chen asked.
“It requires crystalss,” Xiao Lin replied.
“Alright!”
crystalss currently can only be relied upon from Yan Zhengping, so for now, he could only wait.
“What is the current status of the Supercomputing Center?”
“The Supercomputing Center is operating normally, with current computing power utilization at 35%.”
“If we need to upgrade the Supercomputing Center later, how do we do it?”
“Commander, after the Central Hall is upgraded to Level 2, you can add a Research and Development Module, a Quantum Communication Module, and a Mount Module. The Supercomputing Center upgrade requires these three modules as prerequisites.”
“Alright, I understand.”
…
Southwest Military Region Headquarters.
“Secretary Yan, tell Rong Po to come here,” Yan Zhengping said.
“Yes!”
Half an hour later.
“Report!”
“Enter!”
“Commander, you were looking for me?”
“Yes! Go inside and change into a set of equipment.” Yan Zhengping pointed to the inner room of his office.
“Yes!”
10 minutes later.
“Commander, why are these clothes so strange?” Rong Po, wearing a black jumpsuit, combat boots, and holding a hood, asked awkwardly.
The scene was indeed a bit strange, like wearing long johns without outer pants, and then directly putting on a pair of sneakers.
Yan Zhengping directly picked up the notebook on the table and threw it over.
“Why don’t you put on the outer pants, kid?”
“Yes!” Rong Po quickly ran back into the inner room.
When he came out this time, he looked normal.
“Why aren’t you wearing the hood?” Yan Zhengping’s face tightened.
“Commander, this…” Rong Po was very embarrassed.
“What’s wrong?”
“No! This hood makes me look like a terrorist.”
“Put it on, damn it!” Yan Zhengping wished he could hit him.
“Yes!”
After being fully armed, Yan Zhengping walked around him, looked him over, and then said:
“You pick another commando squad, have them all change into these clothes. Then depart for Mapozhuang to eliminate 100 zombies and bring their heads back.”
“What? Commander. Haven’t you always been against everyone going out to kill zombies?” Rong Po thought he had misheard.
“This time is different, go! Come back and find me after the mission is completed. Remember, you are not allowed to take off your hoods!” Yan Zhengping said.
