346: Chapter 346 The Young Man on a Killing Spree

The other Security Guards who were still working stopped what they were doing and all gathered around.

"Everyone, there's no need to be envious. After the inventory is complete, I will issue each of you one.

For now, let's quickly unload all the goods and transport them back to the Settlement.

We can discuss other matters once we return to the Settlement," Que Xin said loudly.

Anyway, everyone would find out what was in these boxes sooner or later, so Que Xin decided to be straightforward.

"Yes!" the Security Guards shouted.

Who among them didn't want their own gun? In such a world, only with a gun could one protect themselves and their family well.

So, when they heard Que Xin's words, everyone became excited.

No one knew where Que Xin had gotten so many weapons, but it didn't matter.

The Mayor was indeed the Mayor; his connections were simply vast.

It wasn't until dark that all the goods from over a dozen train cars were transported back to the Settlement's warehouse.

That very night, Que Xin issued weapons to everyone in the Settlement.

...

Chaohu Settlement, Luzhou City, Anhui Province.

August 30, 2055, 8:30 AM.

A young man, covered in blood, walked down the street, holding the body of a Sister, his eyes vacant.

Many people on both sides of the road stopped to watch, asking and discussing among themselves, all wanting to know who this young man was and what had happened.

But many people shook their heads; clearly, no one knew what had occurred.

The young man just walked slowly, step by step, forward.

Soon, a team of patrolling Security Guards approached.

"Stop! Who are you? Who are you holding?" the leading Security Guard asked.

The young man did not answer, nor did he stop; he continued to walk forward.

"Stop! Did you hear me? If you don't stop, don't blame us for being impolite!" the leading Security Guard's tone became more severe.

The young man still ignored him.

"You few, go over there and control him," the leading Security Guard said to the people beside him.

A few of them were a bit nervous; no one dared to step forward.

The fresh blood on the young man's body told them it was best not to provoke him.

In the Settlement, the position of Security Guard was a highly sought-after one, and many people got in through backdoors, so a lack of professional quality was quite normal.

"Look at you cowards, what kind of Security Guards are you?!" the leading Security Guard cursed, then walked towards the young man himself.

"Brat, are you deaf? I told you to stop, did you hear me?" he shouted loudly as he walked forward.

But just as this Security Guard reached the young man, something unexpected happened.

Seeing someone blocking his path, the young man, without a word, lifted his foot and kicked him directly in the shin.

The kick was powerful; the Security Guard immediately lost his balance and fell to the ground, taking a solid face-plant.

"Ah!" the Security Guard cried out.

The young man stepped forward and directly stomped on his head; the ground caved in, and his head was directly pressed into the pit.

"Crack!" A sound of bones shattering emanated.

The young man acted as if nothing had happened, not even blinking, and continued to walk forward.

The scene was unusually quiet.

The onlookers on the roadside were stunned by this sight.

The other Security Guards were also in a momentary daze.

"Ah!" Five seconds later, the women began to scream first.

"Murderer!" More people shouted.

No one dared to watch the commotion anymore; they all ran away in fear.

The few Security Guards had also come to their senses and were constantly retreating, but no one dared to approach.

The young man neither pursued nor actively attacked; he still walked forward, step by step.

Soon, more Security Guards received the news and rushed over.

Some regular Security Guards from the Police Department had guns.

They raised their pistols and stood in a line facing the young man.

"Listen, person in front, please immediately put down the body in your arms, put your hands on your head, and squat on the ground.

If you take another step forward, we will open fire!"

The young man ignored them.

"Bang!" A gunshot rang out.

A bullet mark appeared on the ground in front of the young man; this was a warning to him.

This time, the young man stopped.

He slowly bent down and gently placed the Sister's body on the ground.

"You rest here for a moment; I'll be right back," the young man said softly.

"Hands on your head, squat on the ground!" The Security Guard thought the young man would cooperate, so he continued to instruct.

The young man did not listen to him; instead, he stood up, stretched his wrists, and scanned his surroundings.

"Immediately squat down, hands on your head!" The Security Guard nervously held his gun, reminding him again.

The corner of the young man's mouth curved slightly, revealing a strange smile.

"Whoosh!" A brief and sharp whooshing sound.

Everyone's eyes blurred, and the young man had already arrived in front of the Security Guard who had just spoken.

"Crack!" The sound of bones breaking.

The young man crushed his neck with one hand.

"Whoosh!" Another whooshing sound.

"Thump!" Another Security Guard's chest was pierced by a punch, and blood splattered.

"Whoosh! Whoosh! Whoosh!"

The young man moved continuously through the crowd, and one Security Guard after another fell.

The remaining active guards looked around but simply couldn't pinpoint the young man's location.

If they couldn't lock onto his position, they couldn't shoot.

In less than a minute, all the armed guards had been killed.

The remaining people were utterly terrified.

They couldn't understand what kind of monster this was, or how he could be so powerful.

"You beasts! You deserve to die! All of you deserve to die!" the young man approached them step by step, gnashing his teeth as he spoke.
