446: Chapter 446 Leave Some Room

United States of America, Federal Bureau of Security (FBS) 19th District Branch.

“Sir, our investigation shows that the five amphibious ships are from Great Sun Country.”

“Great Sun Country? Oh, my God! How did they get here?”

“It looks like they must have crossed the entire Pacific Ocean.”

“My God! How is that possible?” The Director said in disbelief.

“Could it be that they are capable of eliminating those aircraft?” His subordinate guessed.

“No! Absolutely not!” The Director refused to believe it.

Even their United States of America could not deal with the mysterious aircraft; how could Great Sun Country eliminate them?

“Then they must have mastered some method of evasion,” his subordinate replied.

“That is very possible.” The Director nodded.

“You should contact them as soon as possible. I want to meet them.”

“Yes!”

“General Zhongzhong, the United States of America FBS has sent a message, hoping to meet.”

“Hmm, tell them yes.”

Early the next morning, the head of FBS District 19 arrived by helicopter at the park next to Long Beach.

Nakae Koji had been waiting for a long time.

“Hello, I am Joel, from the United States of America Federal Bureau of Security.” Morton extended his hand for a handshake.

“Hello, I am Nakae Koji, Corps Commander of the Navy Corps of the Great East Asia Empire of the Rising Sun.” Nakae Koji replied politely.

“Oh! You are General Zhongzhong! I have heard of you!” Morton exclaimed in surprise.

“Just an undeserved reputation!” Nakae Koji bowed.

“General Zhongzhong, do you know what it means to send warships into United States of America territory without permission?” Morton planned to give him a warning first.

This way, he could secure a good position in the negotiations.

“Director Morton, your words are mistaken. We only came after receiving a distress call.” Nakae Koji argued forcibly.

“Is that so? Where did the distress call come from?” Morton asked.

“I apologize, we cannot confirm the source of the message.” Nakae Koji bowed again.

An unverified message is a dead end. Nakae Koji could not prove it existed, and Morton could not prove it did not.

At this critical juncture, delving into this issue was unnecessary.

“Then, General Zhongzhong, what is your plan?” Morton, gaining no advantage, changed the subject.

“My orders are to implement a zombie-clearing plan for the American continent.”

“Haha! General Zhongzhong, I’m afraid that’s just an excuse!” Morton didn’t believe him at all.

Clearing zombies from the entire American continent? He was not afraid of biting off more than he could chew.

“Mr. Morton, why do you say that?”

“I’m afraid clearing zombies is false, and taking the opportunity to occupy the American continent is true, isn’t it?” Morton sneered.

“Mr. Morton, you are exaggerating. With just our five patrol ships, I’m afraid we cannot accomplish this, can we?”

Morton was speechless; this was also true.

The American continent is so vast; with their few people, they certainly could not do it.

But even if it was unrealistic, he could not lose his composure.

“Perhaps you are just the vanguard?”

“Mr. Morton, if you don’t believe me, you can send people to investigate the Los Angeles city area and see if there are still zombies.” Nakae Koji remained very calm.

In just one night, the entire Los Angeles had been completely cleared.

Morton was startled and whispered a few words to the person behind him.

Then the helicopter took off and headed for the city.

Hearing is one thing, but seeing is believing.

Half an hour later, the investigators returned.

They looked somewhat panicked.

They quickly came to Morton’s front and whispered a few words.

Morton was also surprised.

Nakae Koji knew what they were saying without listening.

“General Zhongzhong, it seems I misunderstood you.” Morton’s smile returned.

“Mr. Morton, you are welcome.” Nakae Koji bowed and smiled.

“Even so, you should have informed us beforehand. If it caused unnecessary misunderstandings, I don’t think that’s what anyone wants to see.” Morton said ambiguously.

In reality, the United States of America currently had no grounds for misunderstanding.

“Mr. Morton is right.”

“How about this, you can rest here for a while. After I report to the council, we can discuss it further.”

“Alright.”

Nakae Koji was actually indifferent.

Whether they discussed it or not, their clearing plan would not change.

However, if leaving some room for cooperation could lead to it, that would be even better.

Olos Country, Kultak.

“Ling Wu, didn’t you say Ling Luo returned to the Elder Hall?” Ling Yue questioned.

“Senior Brother, it’s absolutely true! Ling Luo Senior Brother said so at the time.” Ling Wu replied.

“You! He tricked you!” Ling Yue pointed at him and complained.

“That’s impossible, isn’t it? How dare Ling Luo Senior Brother do such a thing?” Ling Wu was incredulous.

“What is he afraid of? I think it’s highly likely that Master was harmed by him!” Ling Yue’s words were shocking.

“Senior Brother, you can’t just say that! Master is a 3rd-Order Mutated Individual; it’s impossible!” Ling Wu didn’t believe him.

“Alas! You! You’re good at research, but you’re really bad at judging people.” Ling Yue shook his head.

“Senior Brother, where do you think Ling Luo Senior Brother went?” Ling Wu wasn’t angry; he thought Ling Yue was right.

“Don’t call him Senior Brother; he doesn’t deserve it! I estimate he must have returned to Golden City. Here’s what you do: arrange a plane and come with me.” Ling Yue instructed.

“Oh, alright!” Ling Wu agreed without suspicion.
