"Director Morton, I would like to ask, what constitutes a safe zone?" Nakae Koji interrupted.

"Oh, to ensure citizen safety, we have established one to several independent survival bases in each state. These are the safe zones," Morton explained.

"No problem." Nakae Koji understood and nodded.

They weren't interested in living people; they only cared about zombies.

"Hmm, very good. Second, of the crystalss you obtain, we want half."

"Half? That's impossible!" Nakae Koji rejected it without even thinking.

Well, this was clearly an exorbitant demand. They hadn't done anything, yet they wanted half the crystalss. Why didn't they just rob them?
