108: Second Aunt Regained a New Life

Qin Laoda did not chase after them in his car, fearing an ambush. Instead, he led his team to quickly treat the Mountain Top Rabbits.

Pan Han saw everything clearly in the monitoring room. Mechs are truly amazing!

If he could get a set of these and travel back to the real world, wouldn't he be unstoppable?

At this moment, the grand plan that had been brewing in Pan Han's heart for a long time was finally ignited by the mech.

He swore to himself that he must acquire it at all costs!

However, he quickly pulled his thoughts back to reality.

"Second Aunt, arrange for treatment immediately!" Pan Han told Second Aunt to quickly prepare the equipment, estimating that many Rabbit would be dead or injured.

Half an hour later, Qin Zhong returned with the Rabbits.

Pan Han quickly went to greet them, and he first hugged a Mountain Top Rabbit.

"That's great, Rabbit, we relied on all of you this time!"

"Chirp, chirp!" The Mountain Top Rabbit saluted Pan Han, then pulled him to see the other Rabbits.

On the back of the truck, there were 11 neatly arranged Rabbit corpses, and over 20 Rabbits were injured.

Pan Han stroked each fallen Rabbit, then visited each injured Rabbit.

The injured Rabbits still wanted to get up and salute Pan Han, but he gently pressed them down.

"My Rabbit is mighty!" After a long while, Pan Han raised his arms and shouted to everyone!

"My Rabbit is mighty!" The people of Dawn Base were also infected by Pan Han's enthusiasm and shouted with him.

"Chirp, chirp, chirp!" The Rabbits also cheered for their fallen comrades.

Pan Han knew it was not the time for sentimentality. He quickly had Second Aunt come to treat them, then took the others straight to the hall for a meeting.

"Cheng Xiao, did you see him clearly?" Pan Han went straight to the point.

"I didn't see him clearly. He was wearing a mech and running too fast!" Cheng Xiao shook her head helplessly, looking a little disappointed.

"Qin Laoda, what did you find?"

"Reporting, Lord Pan, this is also our first time seeing a mech. This thing has high defense; our 7.62 full-power machine gun rounds didn't do anything to it. Also, the mech can fly, but it seems it can't be used many times; it's only for quick penetration and escape." Qin Zhong focused on the mech itself.

After all, this thing was much more dangerous than landmines. A mech was only a good mech if it was worn by their own people.

"Lord Pan, that invisibility cloak is also quite good. It's very difficult to detect, truly good." The third brother was more concerned about the invisibility cloak; he was most afraid of such things during his patrols.

Everyone discussed for over an hour until Pan Han checked the time and realized it was past midnight.

"Too many things happened today. Everyone has worked hard. Let's rest first."

"Yes, Lord Pan!"

Pan Han and Cheng Xiao returned to the small room on the second floor, quickly washed up, and prepared for bed.

"Lord Pan, isn't there something you should have asked me?" As the two slipped under the covers, Cheng Xiao hugged Pan Han's arm and murmured.

"What? I don't remember!" Pan Han was a little puzzled.

"You..." Cheng Xiao hesitated, as if she wanted to say something but held back.

"I really can't remember what I should ask you."

"Don't you want to know my current attitude towards A Niu?"

"Oh, I'm afraid you and your old flame might rekindle your romance!" Pan Han teased.

"Oh, come on, be serious." Cheng Xiao was amused by him and couldn't help but pinch his prominent chest muscle.

"Ow! Be gentle." Pan Han cried out in pain and quickly begged for mercy.

"I hope you ask formally, because I want to answer formally." Cheng Xiao looked at him with sincere eyes.

"Alright. I'll ask again. Comrade Cheng Xiao, what is your current attitude towards A Niu?"

"Lord Pan, I now regard Dawn Base as my home. Whoever tries to destroy it, I will fight them to the death." Cheng Xiao's eyes were burning.

After speaking, she seemed to have put down a heavy burden and let out a long sigh of relief.

"Silly girl! Of course I trust you." Pan Han gently embraced her and kissed her forehead.

And so, Pan Han held Cheng Xiao and peacefully fell asleep.

The next day, Pan Han woke up early and made breakfast for Cheng Xiao.

As he cooked, he couldn't help but scratch the back of his head: "How did I seem to turn back into a simp again?"

Is this fate?

"Thank you, Lord Pan!" Cheng Xiao was in a much better mood, happily eating her breakfast.

"Oh, right, tell everyone later. I have something else to do and need to leave for a few days. You all should focus on the construction site and then purchase a batch of heavy weapons." Pan Han calculated that he had been away for several days and needed to go back to treat Second Aunt.

"Understood, Lord Pan." Cheng Xiao nodded.

"You eat first. I'm leaving now." Pan Han put on his clothes and pushed open the door.

He walked to another empty, dilapidated house, and with a spatial fluctuation, he teleported to the hotel.

He had opened a room in a neighboring city back home, and now that he was back, he quickly went downstairs to check out.

Then he drove straight to his hometown, sending a message to his family on the way, asking them to clean up the bathroom and instructing Second Aunt not to eat anything now.

His family, hearing this, knew he was serious, so they quickly tidied up.

Half an hour later, Pan Han pushed open the door to his home!

"I'm back! Let's get started." Pan Han was afraid they would ask too many questions, so he wasted no words and got straight to it!

After all, he had used the yellow Evolution Potion twice already, so he was familiar with the process.

"Second Aunt, drink this, then lie down. It might hurt a lot, but once you get through it, you'll be fine." Pan Han softly told Second Aunt.

"Okay, nephew." Second Aunt didn't hesitate at all and drank it in one gulp. For her, there was no worse situation possible.

Less than 5 seconds after Second Aunt finished drinking, she felt her vision go black and immediately fainted!

"Sister!" Pan Han's mother saw that something was wrong and tried to rush over to check on her.

Pan Han stopped her, telling everyone else to leave and that he would watch over her alone.

"Goodness! Second Aunt is full of illnesses, and she fainted right away. But that's good, she won't have to experience the pain and itching." Pan Han murmured to himself.

A large amount of black liquid slowly seeped from Second Aunt's body, flowing onto the bathroom floor, emitting a foul odor.

Pan Han quickly turned on the faucet and continuously rinsed it away.

...

After a full 2 hours of work, Second Aunt finally woke up!

"Pan'er, what happened to me? It's like I had a long dream, wandering in hell. Little devils kept trying to grab me, but a yellow gas blocked them." This was Second Aunt's first sentence after waking up.

Pan Han thought, it's done, Second Aunt is saved.

Pan Han smiled slightly, first wiped Second Aunt's sweat, and then helped her up from the floor.

"Huh, it's already 12 PM? How long was I unconscious?" Second Aunt asked, looking at the digital clock on the bathroom wall.

"About 2 hours!" Pan Han replied.

"Huh? Why can I see the time on it now?" Second Aunt touched her eyelids in disbelief. She used to have severe myopia and astigmatism.

Pan Han naturally knew the reason, but it was difficult to explain directly, so he attributed it all to the potion.

"Come, I'll help you out."

Second Aunts Husband and mother had been waiting at the door for a long time, and when they heard Second Aunt speak from inside, they were so excited they almost jumped.

"She's better already?" Second Aunts Husband was somewhat incredulous.

"Yes, she's just a bit weak and needs two days of rest."

"Son, you're truly the hero of our family!" His mother hugged Pan Han and kissed him hard.

"Wife, how do you feel now?" Second Aunts Husband asked, supporting Second Aunt.

Second Aunt flung his hand away: "I'm hungry!!!"
