278: The leader appears
Overnight, many indescribable things happened again!
Due to internet speed issues, they were not recorded.
Becoming a major mystery of the apocalypse!
Waking up in the morning, Pan Han got up and kissed the limp Cheng Xiao, then quietly slipped back to his shared apartment.
Today, he needed to rush to the Knight Order Dragon Country Base, preparing to meet the Cult Master.
He checked the equipment in his space: mechs, various rifles, explosives, gold, and so on.
“Damn it, if push comes to shove, I’ll let you, old bastard, see what a golden man is!” Pan Han prepared everything and drove straight to the Dragon Country Base.
Upon reaching the small courtyard, Ouyang Cong sat in a wheelchair, with a row of Black-Clad Men standing behind him, waiting early for Mr. Pan’s arrival.
“Mr. Pan is very punctual,” Ouyang Cong looked at the first ray of morning light on the horizon, his expression complex.
“You’re too kind, too kind. Anyway, I’m free, so going for a stroll isn’t bad.” Pan Han saw his appearance, looking exactly like a mummy, and almost burst out laughing.
“Thanks to Mr. Pan, I cannot accompany you,” Ouyang Cong’s arms swayed with difficulty.
“You’re too kind, too kind!”
“Then let’s depart.” As Ouyang Cong finished speaking, two Black-Clad Men walked out from behind him and stood by a black SUV.
Pan Han straightened his collar and sat grandly in the back seat.
The SUV immediately started and drove straight to the airport on the outskirts of the capital.
They sped along, and none of the three people in the car spoke.
Upon reaching the airport, a Gulfstream private jet had been waiting for a long time.
Pan Han followed the two men onto the plane.
After taking his seat, he found there were only two flight attendants on board, and no one else.
“Where are we going?”
“Knight Order Headquarters, Somalia!” one of the Black-Clad Men replied, then sat up straight again, waiting for takeoff.
“Heh heh, just as I wished,” Pan Han shrugged and sat quietly.
This was his first time on such a high-class private jet, with only 8 seats, all of which were executive seats, with soft leather and comfortable support.
Fifteen minutes later, the Gulfstream private jet took off and ascended into the sky.
It would take 12 hours to fly from Dragon Country to Somalia.
Once the plane entered the stratosphere, the two Black-Clad Men immediately started their shift change.
One went inside to rest, while the other sat upright next to Pan Han.
Meanwhile, the two flight attendants began serving Pan Han drinks and snacks.
Pan Han observed the two, finding them to be the absolute best of the best.
It was no exaggeration to say that Yan Xiaoli, Wang Doudou, Cheng Xiao, and Dili Abasi were like elementary school students in front of these two!
“Holy crap, this damn Knight Order has absolutely amazing taste in women,” Pan Han secretly marveled.
You can question the character of the wealthy, but you can never question their taste!
However, the walking posture of these two flight attendants was slightly odd, and when Pan Han activated his divine sense to investigate, he nearly fell out of his chair.
“They’re transvestites! Good heavens, what kind of taste is this!” Pan Han exclaimed in surprise upon learning their identities.
Knowing the journey would be 12 hours long, Pan Han ate a little and then fell into a state of sleep.
After evolving to intermediate level, he could fall asleep and wake up at any time.
His control over his body had reached a masterful level!
Soon after, Pan Han’s snores filled the air; he was sleeping incredibly comfortably.
The Black-Clad Man on duty relaxed slightly seeing him like this. After chatting casually with the transvestite flight attendant for a couple of sentences, he began to read a book.
After several shift changes, the plane finally arrived over a private airport in Somalia.
It circled a few times and landed smoothly.
Pan Han woke up as scheduled, feeling refreshed. After getting off the plane, the airport was neatly lined with dozens of armed pickup trucks.
Each truck bed had a heavy machine gun and a machine gunner.
However, to Pan Han’s surprise, there was no one specifically there to greet him, only an empty SUV.
Still, the two Black-Clad Men led Pan Han to this car.
The convoy of armed pickup trucks began to move, sandwiching Pan Han in the middle.
Pan Han only knew two things about Somalia.
One was pirates, and the other was the capital, Mogadishu.
“Hey, you two, where exactly are we going?” Pan Han sat in the back seat, smoking, his gaze fixed on the desolate land outside.
“Akande.”
“Is that the name of a city?”
“Yes, this is the city where the headquarters is located.”
“How long will this take?!”
“Half an hour!”
“So slow! If I had known meeting an old man was such a hassle, I would have come myself.” Pan Han wished he could pull out his mech and fly over quickly.
“Presumptuous! How can you refer to the Cult Master in such a way!” The Black-Clad Man in the co-pilot seat immediately turned and angrily rebuked Pan Han.
“He’s not my Cult Master, so how I address him is none of your business, is it?” Pan Han saw how protective the Black-Clad Man was of the Cult Master, and instead laughed and retorted.
Pan Han knew this person was not from the Knight Order’s capital base; he must have been transferred from somewhere else.
After all, the members of the capital base had all witnessed Pan Han’s god-like abilities and would certainly not say an extra word to him.
This Black-Clad Man stared intently at Pan Han, his cheeks flushed red, and said nothing more.
Half an hour later, the convoy entered a city.
Pan Han instantly activated his divine sense, enveloping the city.
Though called a city, it was actually smaller than Pan Han’s hometown county seat.
It covered no more than three to five square kilometers, with a population of no more than 20,000.
Before entering the city, the convoy passed through three checkpoints, each heavily guarded.
“It seems this city must be entirely populated by people from the Knight Order. They built their own city.”
After entering the city, the convoy gradually dispersed, eventually leaving only two vehicles to lead the way.
This further confirmed Pan Han’s judgment.
A few minutes later, the convoy arrived outside a luxurious manor.
The lead cars stopped on either side of the manor gate, while Pan Han’s SUV drove directly inside.
“Wow, this manor is huge!” Pan Han surveyed the surrounding scenery. In the distance was a three-story white villa, surrounded by lawns, large trees, and fountains, with peacocks strolling around the yard.
“It seems this old man really enjoys himself.”
This time, someone was there to greet Pan Han.
A Black-Clad Man, an elderly gentleman in a suit, stood quietly in front of the villa door.
After the SUV came to a stop, the old man stepped forward, first whispering a few words to the driver, then the SUV drove straight away.
Pan Han stood rooted, feeling a bit nervous; he didn't speak Somali!
However, the Black-Clad Man smiled and stepped forward, starting in fluent Dragon Country language: “Mr. Pan, the Cult Master is waiting for you in the living room. Please follow me.”
“Holy crap, I didn’t hear wrong, did I? This guy actually speaks Dragon Country language!” Pan Han muttered to himself.
When the two walked into the living room, Pan Han was startled; the person sitting opposite was not an old man at all!
Instead, it was a handsome young man, appearing to be no more than seventeen or eighteen years old.
Seeing Pan Han arrive, the young man stood up with a smile and came forward to greet him: “Welcome, Mr. Pan.”
His voice, however, was still incredibly old and trembling.
Pan Han, seeing such a huge disparity between his appearance and voice, asked somewhat puzzledly: “You are the Cult Master?”
“What, doesn’t it look like me?”
