176: This time he caught me alive
Pan Han only squatted down to check on the two after a long pause.
Their faces were already pitch black, blood flowed from all seven orifices, and a foul stench wafted from their mouths.
One look was enough to tell they had died from poisoning. Connecting this with the earlier creeping (wriggling) of their mouths, they must have chewed the suicide capsules hidden in their teeth.
“What ruthless methods!” Pan Han fell into deep thought. He gradually distanced Uncle Cheng from any connection to the Wang family, believing that they shouldn't possess such strong discipline.
Pan Han retrieved a dagger from his spatial storage, then took out a pair of gloves. After preparing himself, he pried open one of the men’s mouths.
Sure enough, his tongue was bruised and black, with some capsule fragments still remaining.
Pan Han used the dagger to pick up a fragment and observed it carefully. He couldn't understand it, but that didn't mean others couldn't.
So, he pulled out a plastic bag and put a few fragments inside. He would wait until the apocalypse to show them to his second sister.
He also retrieved all the small machines that had been placed in the food packaging earlier.
There were 4 in total, each the size of a USB drive, with a black plastic casing and a small blinking light on top.
“Could these be GPS trackers?” Pan Han couldn't identify them for now and could only guess based on his impression.
Never mind, he'd put them in his spatial storage for now and find a chance to ask Uncle Cheng later.
After everything was tidied up, Pan Han looked at the two corpses, scratching his head, feeling a bit annoyed but helpless.
He could only continue searching their bodies, and as expected, found nothing.
Pan Han simply put the corpses into his spatial storage, then walked over to the Mercedes GLE, noticing the car was still running. So, he drove it into the warehouse and also put it into his spatial storage.
Immediately after, he traveled to the apocalypse, then returned to his shared apartment bedroom.
As soon as he returned, he turned on the anti-surveillance device he had brought back from the apocalypse.
Someone! There really was someone!
Through the monitor, he discovered that two Black-Clad Men had scouted his room downstairs.
Examining the captured photos, Pan Han scrutinized them carefully, but he had no impression, absolutely no clue.
“What a mess this is. The Trial is about to begin, and I've been targeted.” Pan Han sat on the bed and lit a cigarette.
He even turned off the lights and lay on the bed, immersed in darkness, with only the tip of his cigarette flickering.
This environment, by rights, was very suitable for thinking, but for the current Pan Han, it offered no help at all.
He repeatedly searched for even the slightest clue, but the result infuriated him.
“Could it be people from the country? Have they discovered I have spatial ability?” He even considered this possibility.
But then he immediately denied it. If it were truly people sent by the country, they would just take him away directly. There would be no need to be so mysterious and cautious, like thieves.
Pan Han was very annoyed now, extremely annoyed. He extinguished his cigarette and lit another.
Suddenly, the monitor emitted an alarm sound, and someone was taking pictures of his home again.
Pan Han was startled and immediately went to check the monitor.
It was still the two Black-Clad Men who had been photographed before.
“Alright, so it's you two. Don't even think about running.” Pan Han dropped the monitor and went straight out the door and downstairs.
One Black-Clad Man downstairs was still taking pictures of Pan Han's dormitory.
Earlier, they had noticed the light in Pan Han's bedroom flickering on and off, which immediately caught their attention.
One of them was taking pictures and observing, while the other sat in the car, responsible for keeping watch.
As soon as Pan Han came downstairs, he was spotted by the person on lookout. He immediately alerted his accomplice, and they both took off running.
The observing Black-Clad Man was twenty meters from the car, and Pan Han was thirty meters from them.
Normally, he definitely wouldn't be able to catch up.
But who was Pan Han? The strongest physically capable human on this planet.
A gust of “Pan” wind instantly caught up to the Black-Clad Man who was taking pictures.
Splat! A flying kick sent the observing Black-Clad Man stumbling and falling, landing right next to the car.
The person on lookout saw this and immediately got out of the car, preparing to fight Pan Han.
This was exactly what Pan Han wanted. He wasn't in a hurry to make a move, but rather looked left and right. There was no one else around, perfect for his abilities.
“Who exactly are you?” Pan Han himself couldn't remember how many times he had asked this tonight; he felt annoyed by it.
“Where are those two?” The Black-Clad Man on lookout realized he hadn't received any news from the two in the warehouse for a long time and probably knew something had gone wrong.
“I've got them pinned in the warehouse. Want to see them? Come with me.” Pan Han chuckled.
The lookout didn't press further but helped the photographer up. After getting up, the latter stretched his waist.
“Stop wasting words with him. Let's take him down first. We've already been discovered, so what's the point of tracking him anymore?” The photographer rubbed his waist, grimacing as he spoke.
“This kid has some skill,” the lookout said, pulling out a set of brass knuckles from his Pregnant (chest) and putting them on his hand.
Ruthless and few words, Pan Han liked that!
“Don't you have a weapon?” Pan Han pointed to the one rubbing his waist.
“Heh heh. Look.” The photographer suddenly pulled a pistol from his waist.
Pan Han had seen guns before, but seeing a gun in Dragon Country was a bit unusual.
Usually, it was comrades in uniform who carried them; it was rare to see someone in a small black suit carrying a gun.
Could it be that you are from some special service agency?
“Kid, surrender. When I shoot, I never miss. You're not faster than it.” The photographer gestured with the muzzle, indicating Pan Han should kneel.
“Interesting, those two guys just now said the same thing.” Pan Han had no idea if the Black-Clad Men in the warehouse had guns, but it was highly likely. All's fair in war, so he'd bluff first.
“Useless guys, they deserved to fall!” The lookout snorted coldly.
“You two, are you very capable?” Pan Han was a bit speechless. Ever since he had become stronger, more and more people tried to act cool in front of him.
“Too much nonsense.” The lookout lunged forward, gripping his brass knuckles tightly, aiming straight for Pan Han's face.
Slap! A loud slap landed on the lookout's face, and he immediately fainted to the ground.
It was a crisp sound!
“Villains die from talking too much, that's you. Pfft!” Pan Han spat, a large glob of thick phlegm landing right on his face.
“Holy shit!” The photographer saw that things were going badly, cursed loudly, and immediately went to release the safety on his gun.
How could Pan Han give him a chance? It was another flying kick.
You guess who's faster?
Anyway, the armed man took another kick, fell to the ground, foamed at the mouth, and passed out.
“Heh heh, I got live ones this time.” Pan Han quickly squatted down to pry open their mouths, fearing they would also bite down on suicide pills.
After holding the two small pills in his hand, Pan Han let out a long breath.
“This time, let's see if you'll talk. Heh heh!” With that, Pan Han observed the pills under the streetlamp.
Suicide pills are widely used by spies of various countries, containing drugs like potassium cyanide that can quickly cause death. Within about 10 seconds, a person dies, usually without much pain.
These two pills were only one-fifth the size of medical pills, very small, just right for hiding in false teeth.
“Big brothers, you guys aren't really secret agents, are you?” Pan Han was a little flustered now.
No matter how powerful he was, he was afraid of offending people from the country.
No matter how strong an individual was, compared to the state machinery, they were just an ant trying to shake a tree.
“Let's get them out of here first.” Pan Han quickly moved the two men into the Bentley, then used ropes and tape to tie them up securely.
Igniting the car and putting it in gear, Pan Han returned to the warehouse once more.
This time, even if the King of Heaven came, he would have to get some answers.
