216: 100th floor, Master of Imitation

As the guitar pick flew out, it accurately struck the spherical headlight, then fell to the ground.

The entire ballroom went dark.

“Let’s go!” Emily pushed Pan Han away, shouting.

Pan Han, as if under a spell, ran straight away.

The dim hall and the crowded people could not hinder his running speed.

On the ninety-seventh floor were a group of zombies filming a scene, which Pan Han directly bypassed.

On the ninety-eighth floor were a group of zombies taking wedding photos; Pan Han patted a bride and turned to run.

On the ninety-ninth floor were a group of zombies making human flesh burgers; Pan Han glanced at them and accelerated his departure.

Finally, he arrived at the one hundredth floor!

At this moment, his score reached 1,027,980, still ranking first!

However, the second-place contestant had already exceeded 1.02 million points, less than 1,000 points behind Pan Han.

“Damn it, this is intense! They’re catching up so fast!” Pan Han composed himself, adjusted his breathing, brought his body and will into perfect alignment, and then resolutely rushed towards the one hundredth floor.

As Pan Han stepped onto the one hundredth floor, he immediately felt a powerful aura.

The layout of this floor resembled a ballroom, exuding a mysterious and majestic atmosphere.

The ballroom walls were covered with black silk, adorned with silver-white star patterns, beautiful and magnificent like a starry sky.

Giant crystal chandeliers hung from the high ceiling, emitting a soft and luxurious glow that illuminated the entire ballroom.

The floor was paved with magnificent black marble, as smooth as a mirror, making one feel as if they were in the midst of the stars.

In the center of the dance floor was a massive revolving stage, on which various musical instruments and audio equipment were placed.

Around the ballroom were rows of audience seats, filled with expressionless humanoid puppets! Their bodies were suspended by several thin wires hanging from the ceiling.

The eyes of all the puppets flickered with faint light, adding a touch of eerie and tense atmosphere to the entire scene.

On one side of the stage, on a high music stand, stood a figure in a black cloak; his face was obscured by darkness, leaving only a pair of piercing eyes that gleamed with sharp light.

Pan Han focused his vision and was astonished to find that all the puppets in the audience were in his own likeness!

“Damn it! So mysterious!” Pan Han cursed under his breath.

Ding! The wristband prompted: Final floor Boss, Imitation Master, 500,000 points!

“Awesome, such a high score! Looks like he won’t be easy to deal with!” Pan Han rubbed his palms, feeling a bit nervous, but more excited.

“Trial participant Pan Han, you’re finally here!” The black cloak actually spoke first, as if he had been waiting for a long time.

“Are you the Imitation Master?” Pan Han slowly walked towards one side of the stage.

“That’s right, hehehe!” The Imitation Master leaped down from the high platform, his figure light and agile, landing without a sound.

“What can you imitate?” Pan Han pulled out a cigarette; finally, at the last hurdle, he relaxed instead.

The Imitation Master smiled, a hint of mockery in his eyes.

“Trial participant Pan Han, don’t you understand yet? I can imitate everything—your skills, your moves, even your linguistic style. I am the master of imitation, omnipotent!” The Imitation Master said confidently.

“Then stop talking nonsense, let’s get straight to it!” Pan Han lit his cigarette, exuding an air of confidence.

Drawing his dagger, Pan Han rushed forward, and the Imitation Master drew his expandable baton, meeting him.

Clang, clang, bang, bang!

The two exchanged over 100 moves, completely without any strategy, purely relying on who reacted faster.

However, Pan Han was the one injured; his head was struck once, and blood immediately flowed.

Clang! Pan Han threw away his dagger and pulled out a longsword!

“Oh, not bad. You can wield a sword too!” The Imitation Master mocked.

After the previous probing, he had already figured out Pan Han’s speed, strength, and attack characteristics, so he was naturally not afraid of him changing weapons.

“Less talk!” Pan Han formed a sword incantation and thrust out fiercely.

The Imitation Master immediately dropped his expandable baton, pulled out a gleaming green treasured sword from the weapon box behind him, and met the attack.

Pan Han’s heart was ablaze; he focused his mind, circulated his internal energy, and unleashed his most proficient sword technique. The tip of his sword moved like lightning, his offensive swift and sharp.

The gleaming green treasured sword and Pan Han’s longsword crossed, sparks flying, sword light crisscrossing, illuminating the entire ballroom like stars twinkling in the night sky.

Pan Han’s movements were agile, his sword strikes like the wind, transforming into a surge of sword qi, swiftly thrusting towards the Imitation Master. The Imitation Master, in turn, transformed into a dark shadow amidst the sword light, his figure nimble, appearing like a phantom.

Their sword moves grew faster and fiercer, and a life-and-death struggle unfolded. Pan Han fought with all his might, continuously brandishing his longsword, each move containing a unique sword intent.

The Imitation Master, relying on his keen observation and powerful imitation ability, mimicked almost every one of Pan Han’s moves with uncanny accuracy, using his own strength to counter Pan Han’s sword strikes.

Amidst the crossing sword lights, repeated collisions produced crisp metallic sounds, and the stage was filled with a dense sword qi.

Their figures intertwined on the stage, sometimes with brilliant sword light, sometimes with shadowy swordplay, creating a stunning visual effect.

Pan Han felt the Imitation Master’s strength and his own limitations, knowing that he had to find a breakthrough to defeat his opponent.

He concentrated his mind and energy, pondering the profound meaning of swordplay. Suddenly, a flash of inspiration struck him, and he thought of an unexpected way to win.

Pan Han suddenly stopped his attack, reining in his aura, appearing like a corpse. His sword tip lightly touched the ground, like a hovering spiritual snake.

The Imitation Master felt slightly puzzled but did not relax his guard, continuing to stare at Pan Han.

Suddenly, Pan Han moved like lightning, appearing behind the Imitation Master in an instant.

“Grandson, die!” With a sharp shout, Pan Han unleashed a move called the “Son-Severing, Grandson-Ending Sword.”

“Hahaha, childish!” Although the Imitation Master marveled at Pan Han’s incredible speed, he was not afraid of an attack from behind.

His head instantly twisted 180°, and his limbs followed suit.

Front and back swapped!

This is just ridiculous!

Pan Han was greatly surprised, but his sword could no longer be retracted.

Ding!

The two swords collided, producing a crisp, melodious sound that nearly ruptured Pan Han’s eardrums.

However, in that split second, Pan Han discovered a secret.

The Imitation Master was not a flesh-and-blood creature. All parts of his body seemed to be mechanical.

This was also why he could easily twist his head 180°.

“Hmph, hmph, so you’re not human, nor a zombie! You’re just mechanical trash!” Pan Han took a few steps back, snorting coldly.

“Oh, look at you, what you said. Whether I’m trash or not isn’t important; being able to defeat you is enough!” Seeing Pan Han expose his secret, the Imitation Master simply shed all his black clothes, revealing the steel and iron bones beneath.
