2: The End of the World 9 Points Girl
“Ah… Holy crap, that hurts!” Pan Han yelled, falling with a loud thud onto his backside, lying spread-eagled on the muddy ground.
“System, are you out of your mind? When did I say I wanted to transmigrate?” Pan Han shouted into the air.
“Host, you just said, ‘Holy crap, awesome!’ which is one of the commands, so transmigration was immediately activated,” the System replied.
“That works? Is that the only command? Are there others?” Pan Han rubbed his backside, wincing in pain.
“There are infinitely many; the Host can set them yourself. You can also silently repeat ‘I want to transmigrate’ three times in your mind to activate it.”
“Alright, I got it. I’ll study it first, then figure out how to set the transmigration command,” Pan Han said grumpily.
Suddenly, a cold metal object pressed against the back of his head.
“Don’t move, or I’ll kill you,” a woman’s voice came from behind him.
Without thinking, that cold, hard object must have been a gun.
Pan Han understood the rules and slowly raised both hands, indicating he had no weapons and no ill intent.
A slender hand began to search Pan Han’s body; clearly, the woman was frisking him.
Pan Han felt a little nervous, and a little ticklish, but why did he also feel a little… good?
However, he wasn’t too worried because he had no lethal weapons on him.
Finally, this hand pulled an item from Pan Han’s pants pocket.
“How do you have this thing?” the woman asked.
“Can I turn around and see what it is?” Pan Han wondered, he didn’t remember putting anything in his pocket.
“Turn around slowly. It’s best not to act rashly, or your head will explode!” the woman said coldly.
“Hmph, even more awesome than the System,” Pan Han thought, then slowly turned around.
“So big, so big!” As Pan Han turned around, the first thing that met his eyes was a pair of proud peaks, and he unconsciously swallowed.
“Where are you looking?” The woman’s expression was unreadable, and she remained cold.
Pan Han looked up, and to his surprise, it was a Nine-Point Woman, about 1.7 meters tall, wearing a black tactical bodysuit that perfectly accentuated her graceful figure. In her hand, she held a pistol, its dark muzzle pointed at him.
“I asked you, how do you have this thing?” The Nine-Point Woman raised her hand and waved it in front of Pan Han’s eyes.
Pan Han saw that it was the chewing gum he had casually taken after eating hot pot last time. It had been in his pocket for who knew how many days, and he had completely forgotten about it.
“Is this thing rare? I took it when I ate hot pot, what’s wrong?” Pan Han explained.
“Not only do you have chewing gum, but you also ate hot pot?” The Nine-Point Woman’s eyes widened as she stared at Pan Han, her mouth slightly agape, indicating an expression of disbelief.
“How long has it been since you’ve eaten this kind of thing?” Pan Han now somewhat believed this was the apocalypse, even hot pot could make the other party so excited.
“Five years, a full five years!” The Nine-Point Woman excitedly held up five fingers.
“Then this is for you,” Pan Han said. Although he was poor, he could afford to give away chewing gum.
“Who are you? Where did you come from? Why are you here?” The Nine-Point Woman completely ignored Pan Han and continued to press him.
Pan Han thought, he definitely couldn’t say he had transmigrated.
But he didn’t know how to answer. He could only stammer, his words vague.
“Forget it, if you don’t want to talk, then don’t. The chewing gum is mine. Get out of here quickly; it’s going to be dark soon, and if you don’t hide, you’ll die.” The Nine-Point Woman put away her pistol and waved Pan Han away.
“You can have it, but you have to answer me one question.”
“Fair enough, ask away! But don’t ask me for personal information,” the Nine-Point Woman looked at the chewing gum and nodded.
“How long has the apocalypse been here?” Pan Han asked.
The Nine-Point Woman looked at Pan Han as if he were an idiot, then said coldly, “Eight years.”
“Okay, thanks.”
The apocalypse had been here for eight years, so what must this world have become? Pan Han thought.
The Nine-Point Woman also ignored Pan Han and walked away in a certain direction.
Her valiant aura had nowhere to settle.
Only after the Nine-Point Woman had been gone for ten minutes did Pan Han properly observe this world.
There were ruins everywhere, trees were withered, and the sky was dim. When the breeze blew, the air carried an unpleasant stench.
It was dusk in the apocalypse; the sun was already very faint, and visibility was very low.
Pan Han straightened his clothes and thought, he should walk around first, anyway, he could go back anytime.
However, he was afraid of zombies appearing, so he casually picked up a thick branch from the ground as a precaution.
Pan Han explored in the direction the Nine-Point Woman had left. He thought, that woman must have a hideout, and he would quietly sneak there to check it out when it got dark.
After walking less than 20 meters, Pan Han discovered a rotting corpse lying on the ground, half of its body already decayed. A group of unknown insects were gnawing on the putrid flesh.
Pan Han had never seen such a scene; he felt his stomach churn, and something surged up his throat. He couldn’t hold it in and threw up. He didn’t even bother to wipe his mouth, gripping the stick and running away quickly.
This was probably the first lesson the apocalypse taught him.
After running about a hundred meters, he found a half-collapsed small house, and Pan Han quickly hid inside.
It was even darker inside the house; he could barely make out the general outlines. Pan Han felt a little panicked and swung the stick a few times to bolster his courage.
He then held his breath, listening for any other movements inside the house. Finding it relatively safe, he let out a long sigh of relief and then began to explore the room.
The room wasn’t large, only about thirty square meters. From the decorations and furnishings, it should have been a small convenience store before. Eight years had passed, and only a few walls and some broken cabinets remained.
After searching for a while, he gradually adapted to the light intensity and could see more things.
Sure enough, the second lesson arrived.
A skeleton lay diagonally at his feet; he almost stepped on it.
Pan Han was so scared he almost screamed, his instinctive reaction was to strike the skeleton with the stick.
A skeleton that had been there for many years could not withstand Pan Han’s violent hammering and fell apart in a few blows.
However, a string of gleaming yellow objects fell before Pan Han’s eyes.
It was a gold necklace. The kind of thick, heavy gold chain.
“Well, hello there, this is money delivered right to me!” Pan Han shouted, but then quickly covered his mouth, nervously looking around, afraid of attracting other zombies.
He looked left and right, confirming no one was there, then used the wooden stick to pick up the gold chain and slowly brought it into his hand.
So heavy, so weighty!
“It should be gold, right?” Pan Han pondered inwardly.
In fact, he didn’t know how to distinguish gold from silver. He had only seen on TV before that many gang members had dragon tattoos and wore gold chains. This one looked especially similar, so he thought this person must have been a big shot before he died.
Pan Han wiped the chain with his clothes, then breathed on it, carefully examining it under the faint light, a strange excitement building within him.
“Holy crap, awesome! I’m going to get rich!” As soon as he shouted this, with a whoosh, he vanished from the spot.
Pan Han transmigrated back to his shared apartment!
