230: Hailstorms, try to cooperate

Pan Han sat up and stretched, feeling his body recover to some extent.

He opened the small door and looked out, only to see the wind and snow intensify, turning the world into a vast expanse of white.

"This snow is really coming down hard," Pan Han muttered to himself, realizing the environment outside had become even harsher. He knew he couldn't go out and could only wait in the small cabin.

So, Pan Han decided to continue making use of the cabin to pass the time.

He lit the wood stove, letting the flames burn to increase the indoor temperature. Then, he took out some food and drinks from his space, preparing to eat.

That's right! He was hungry again!

While others outside were desperately trying to avoid the severe cold, Pan Han was here, eating heartily based on his strength.

The Snow Leopard at the door weighed at least 300 catties; he couldn't possibly finish it all.

Checking his wristband, the temperature had dropped again. Pan Han didn't know what had happened while he was sleeping.

But he felt that the arrangements of the Twelve Palaces would certainly not be smooth sailing.

Not to mention continuous temperature drops, even a snow-filled hailstorm wouldn't be anything new!

Hehe, so, never think randomly!

And sure enough, the hailstones in the wind and snow arrived!

Just as Pan Han was about to eat, he suddenly heard a piercing crashing sound.

He froze for a moment, pushed the door open, and looked up, discovering that hailstones were mixed with the snowflakes, constantly smashing against the cabin's outer wall.

"Damn it! I really shouldn't jinx things!" Pan Han said, feeling quite helpless.

The hailstones grew larger, and the smashing sounds became more frequent. Cracks began to appear on the cabin's outer wall. Pan Han realized the situation was urgent and tightly closed the cabin door to prevent hailstones from entering. He also quickly moved the Snow Leopard carcass inside the house.

However, with the impact of the hailstones, the door was shattered, and the cold wind and snow surged into the cabin.

"Holy crap!" Pan Han shivered instantly as the cold wind blew over him.

He quickly put on the Snow Leopard's hide, and only then did he feel warmer.

The cabin should still hold for a while, but the wooden door's frame was damaged. He could only brace the wooden door with his body, blocking the doorframe and enduring the wind and snow.

At this moment, a notification came from his wristband: more than 20 Trial participants had been carried out.

Currently, 220 people remained!

"Damn it, this is truly an unremarkable third stage!" Pan Han blocked the doorway, with a fire roasting in front of him and hailstones smashing his back.

It was like a double heaven of ice and fire, nothing more!

"In this stage, with no direct confrontation, so many people have been carried out! The Twelve Palaces are truly perverted!" Pan Han took a big gulp of hot coffee, feeling a bit more at ease.

Thus, Pan Han stubbornly blocked the doorway, continuously drinking hot coffee.

Just as he was about to give up, he suddenly noticed someone running towards him in the distance!

"What's going on? Someone can still be running around now??" Pan Han shifted his posture, observing the approaching person through a gap.

However, the wind and snow outside were too heavy, making it only vaguely discernible that it was a woman.

"It couldn't be her, could it!" Pan Han had a bad premonition.

Another half minute passed, and the woman's figure and aura became clearer!

It was indeed Dili Abasi!

"Holy cow, how did she find her way here?" Pan Han was more curious than nervous when he saw her. After all, she was his former defeated opponent, and he wasn't afraid to fight her.

Dili Abasi, in the wind, snow, and hail, was also wearing a beast hide, hugging herself, shivering from the cold, and heading straight for the cabin.

"Friend inside, I hope you can take me in!" Dili Abasi arrived at the door, and seeing someone inside, she quickly called for help.

"We're not very familiar, you should find another place!" Although Pan Han's place was big enough, he didn't want to save anyone.

After all, everyone was a competitor; saving one more person wouldn't benefit him.

"Big Brother??" Dili Abasi recognized Pan Han's voice from inside the house and exclaimed.

"Hehe, what a coincidence! We meet again." Pan Han revealed a pair of eyes, looking at her shrewdly and lecherously.

"My good Big Brother, please let me in to escape the wind and snow first! We can discuss everything." Dili Abasi rubbed her hands, bowing to Pan Han with a fawning expression.

"Discuss everything??" Pan Han's ears perked up, and he suddenly had a new idea.

The image of a cunning merchant appeared in his mind, holding an account book in one hand and twirling walnuts in the other!

"Hehehe! You brought this upon yourself!" Pan Han chuckled inwardly, seeing an opportunity to get rich.

"What will you exchange?" Pan Han asked through the wooden door.

"Ah?" Dili Abasi hadn't expected Pan Han to actually consider it and didn't react immediately.

"You can come in, but what will you exchange? Speak quickly, or you'll miss your chance." Pan Han didn't give her time to think.

"Big Brother, how do you like my body? My little sister can come in and warm you up?" Dili Abasi directly brought out her trump card. She had used this move to conquer countless men!

"Go to hell! You're colder than me right now; come in and warm me up? You must be dreaming!" After saying that, Pan Han turned his body away, no longer bothering with her.

"Hey, hey! Big Brother, I am the Lord of Daughter Country. If you let me in now, after the Trial is over, I will give you 100 beautiful women. How about that?" Dili Abasi also realized that Pan Han had a point and quickly changed her offer.

At this moment, the wind and snow grew even stronger, and Dili Abasi felt even colder, tightly wrapping her beast hide around her.

"Tch, give me 100 people, and I'd still have to feed and house them! Not worth it!" Pan Han said coldly, though he was secretly beaming.

"Big Brother, Big Brother, then what do you want? As long as I can afford it, I'll give it all to you!" Dili Abasi's face was almost numb now, and she made up her mind, willing to agree to whatever Pan Han said.

Even if Pan Han asked her to be a slave, it would be better than freezing to death now!

"I want you to team up with me in the fourth stage, be my team member, and follow my command." Pan Han only stated his condition when he felt the time was right!

He had just remembered that the fourth stage was treasure hunting.

Hundreds of treasures were available for everyone to grab, with different treasures yielding different scores.

If there were no competition, almost everyone could get 20 points! But to prevent others from getting a perfect score, they could only team up to collect more treasures!

By collecting as many as possible for themselves and leaving none for others, they could widen the score gap.

So, if they could team up in advance now, they would definitely gain an advantage when the fourth stage truly began.

"Yes, yes! My good Big Brother, not to mention being your team member, I'd even be willing to be your concubine, just open the door quickly!" Dili Abasi pleaded with her last ounce of strength.

Did she even have a choice now? She didn't even have time to think; half a minute later, she would be frozen solid!

"Good! Come in." Pan Han moved the wooden door aside and pulled Dili Abasi inside.

Inside the small wooden cabin, the temperature was at least 5℃ above zero, and Dili Abasi instantly relaxed.

Pan Han blocked the door and didn't rush, letting Dili Abasi rest for a while first.
