52: You are sick, you need treatment.

"Wang Doudou! Are you sick?!" Pan Han was exasperated by her and asked, sitting on the sofa, fuming.

"Yes! How did you know I was sick? I have an addiction to that kind of need," Wang Doudou said, blinking her eyes.

"If you're sick, go get treated! Why are you acting crazy with me?"

"There's only one way to cure this illness, and that's poverty. So, for someone from my family background, this illness is incurable! Right now, I just want to hit you, or be hit by you!"

Wang Doudou propped her chin on her hand, imitating the Evil God of Fire Cloud, and said in a cheap, teasing voice.

...

Pan Han was speechless for a long time, then slowly uttered a few words: "How about I compensate you with the car?"

Anyway, the M5 was also being repaired, so he might as well give it to this crazy woman. If he kept getting entangled with her, Pan Han himself would go crazy.

Although he liked beautiful women, it had to be based on normal emotions; he absolutely could not accept this kind of behavior.

He secretly swore that in the apocalypse base, whoever did such a thing, he would kill them.

And that Iron Gang, he would destroy them sooner or later!

"Oh! Now you remember the car, huh? Weren't you quite arrogant back then? Let me tell you, it's too late!"

Wang Doudou suddenly returned to her usual self, her tone mocking and provoking Pan Han.

"It seems that talking nicely isn't working, is it? Don't you know my strength?"

"Although my three useless subordinates can't accomplish much, they are quite experienced in sabotage and sneak attacks. The fact that you could counter-kill them shows you do have some skill."

"I have a whole group of assassins in another world, would I tell you that?" Pan Han internally scoffed.

"Unfortunately, this little skill is useless to me. No matter how strong you are, in front of me, you're just an ant."

"Oh? What if I can cure your illness?" Pan Han remembered that he had an Evolution Potion in his space. Taking the yellow one could remove all illnesses from the body.

"Hahaha! Just you, a stinky loser! Do you have the ability to make our family go bankrupt?" Wang Doudou thought Pan Han wanted to ruin their family.

When Pan Han heard himself called a stinky loser, his temper flared up, and he casually slapped her again.

"Ah, so painful! Can you use a little more force?" Wang Doudou instantly reverted to her perverted expression, gazing at Pan Han with hazy eyes, and then crawled off the bed, heading straight for Pan Han's thigh.

Pan Han immediately extended his leg, stopping her.

"Calm down. I'm not talking about making your family go bankrupt; I really have a way to cure your illness!"

Suddenly, Wang Doudou stopped, staring blankly at Pan Han: "Are you serious?"

"You stand up first, I'm not used to talking to people like this," Pan Han said fiercely.

"Oh! Why so fierce!" Wang Doudou complained, then slowly stood up.

"I told you to come sit over here!" Pan Han patted the sofa cushion.

"Oh! Got it!" Wang Doudou, like a misbehaving elementary student, obediently sat next to Pan Han.

"How many years have you had this illness? Tell me the specific situation, and I'll see if I can prescribe the right medicine," Pan Han said, seizing the moment while she was relatively obedient, quickly entering normal conversation mode.

"Seven or eight years, I guess."

"Ah? How old are you this year?"

"I'm 24 this year!"

"So you got this illness when you were 16?"

"Yes! My dad is in pharmaceuticals. After he found out, he treated me for a long time, but he couldn't cure it."

"Did your dad say why you got this illness?"

"I'm afraid you won't understand. The cause is too complex."

"Tell me about it." Pan Han suddenly felt that this matter was not that simple.

"This illness, partly because of heredity, my dad is a playboy, rich and handsome, attracting women everywhere. Another part of the reason is that excessive mental stress led to poor endocrine regulation."

"With your dad's big business, some wild women are not uncommon," Pan Han sighed after hearing this.

"You men are all like this!" Wang Doudou suddenly shouted excitedly, tears even starting to well up in her eyes.

"Why are you getting agitated again? Keep talking."

"Why are you willing to listen? Why should I believe you?" Wang Doudou suddenly retorted.

At this moment, Wang Doudou looked like a 16-year-old girl, pure and lovely, her swollen cheeks revealing her sincere gaze and eager anticipation.

After Pan Han's evolution, his observational and analytical abilities had greatly improved. He vaguely sensed that this girl had an unresolved pain in her heart. Pan Han did not answer immediately, but met her gaze for a few seconds. He became even more certain that Wang Doudou was on the verge of a breakdown from being tormented by this illness.

"Because I know you're suffering!"

Hearing these words, a ray of holy light seemed to pierce through the cloud-shrouded heart of Wang Doudou.

Deep within her heart, a pure little girl slowly and devoutly knelt beneath the holy light.

With a wail, Wang Doudou's emotions broke down, and she burst into tears.

When she cried, Pan Han knew he had said the right thing.

Looking at the tear-streaked Wang Doudou in front of him, he couldn't help but wipe away her tears.

Wang Doudou instantly threw herself into his arms, crying loudly, her suppressed emotions of many years pouring out like a flood breaking its dam.

Pan Han was initially a bit resistant, but slowly, he began to stroke Wang Doudou's hair, offering her some comfort.

She cried like this for seven or eight minutes before gradually stopping her sobbing.

"Do you feel better after crying it out?"

"Mm-hmm, much better." Wang Doudou wiped away her tears with her arm.

Pan Han looked at her swollen eyes, went to find a towel, and carefully wiped her face.

"Thank you."

"You're welcome."

...

After both of them calmed down, Pan Han asked her to explain what had caused her great mental stress.

Wang Doudou rubbed her hands a few times, then bit her lip hard before slowly recounting her story.

"That year, I was 16. One afternoon, school let out early because there was an inspection. When I got home, I went to my bedroom on the second floor. As I passed my mother's bedroom, I noticed the door wasn't fully closed, leaving a gap, and strange sounds were coming from inside."

"Usually at this time, everyone in the family would be at work, so why was Mom home? I pushed the door open to look. And then..."

At this point, Wang Doudou rubbed her hands again and swallowed hard.

"Then, I saw my parents and Uncle Wang from next door, all three of them together." At this point, Wang Doudou's eyes welled up again.

Upon hearing this, Pan Han felt a thousand grass mud horses gallop through his mind.

What kind of messed up parents were these?

"This Uncle Wang had quite a few connections. At that time, our family hadn't built such a large business yet. Uncle Wang used his connections to help our family secure many projects and properties."

"When I saw that scene, I was so scared that I turned and ran, went back to my room, crawled under the bed, and cried silently, holding back my tears."

"From then on, I was traumatized. My whole personality changed. Plus, my parents felt guilty towards me, and they fulfilled every request I made, making my personality increasingly erratic and violent," Wang Doudou's tone was now slightly calmer.

"Later, my dad found that he couldn't cure my illness, so he simply gave up. Instead, he would introduce some young, handsome men to me to relieve my pain."

"But every night, I would often wake up from nightmares, and that scene would forever linger in my mind."

Hearing this, Pan Han finally understood completely. This illness was actually more of a psychological one. However, he could also understand that anyone who encountered such a trauma would find it difficult to overcome.

"You're one year older than me, so I'll call you Dou Dou Jie. I can do nothing about your past experiences, I can only express my regret. But your current illness, I'll take care of it!" Pan Han said with burning eyes and a firm tone.
