362: No code in mind
Pan Han, after hearing this, had no reaction; his head suddenly felt light, and he fell asleep.
When he woke up, it was already 8 AM the next day.
First, his consciousness returned to normal, then he slowly opened his eyes, and Ellie was right in front of him.
Beside him were Yan Xiaoli, Ouyang Cong, and some unfamiliar faces.
"He's awake, the boss is awake!" Ellie immediately shouted when she saw Pan Han open his eyes.
Her eyes were red, and she had dark circles, clearly indicating she hadn't slept all night.
Yan Xiaoli immediately rushed to the bedside, tears welling up in her eyes, suggesting she had been crying all night.
Ouyang Cong, meanwhile, quickly directed two other people to step forward and examine him.
Pan Han moved his limbs and found no obstructions; he shook his head and felt no discomfort, but rather an unprecedented clarity.
"What are you all doing?"
"Boss, these two are the best doctors; let them examine you first," Ouyang Cong hastily explained.
The Grand Master of the Knight Order had an incident in the Capital; he couldn't bear the responsibility.
After Pan Han fainted last night, Ellie immediately called Ouyang Cong, who, terrified, scrambled and rushed over with doctors.
Yan Xiaoli had just returned home from work and happened to catch it.
The doctors examined him for a long time but couldn't reach a conclusion, leaving the other three as anxious as ants on a hot pan.
Fortunately, Pan Han's breathing, pulse, and other vital signs were all stable.
So they decided to monitor him overnight before making a decision.
Luckily, Pan Han woke up naturally this morning.
The few of them were overjoyed, their tears turning to smiles, and their anxious hearts finally settled.
Pan Han knew everyone's good intentions and didn't refuse, allowing the two doctors to examine him.
Ten minutes later, the two stood up and said, "The boss's body is fine; everything is normal."
Pan Han nodded at the two, then stood up himself.
He felt as light as a swallow, so refreshed!
"What happened to me last night?" Pan Han's last memory was of that electronic voice; he couldn't remember anything after that.
"Boss, you screamed last night and then fainted. You slept until dawn," Ellie stepped forward to answer. She had witnessed the entire process, and no one had more authority on the matter than her.
Pan Han nodded and softly said, "You worked hard last night. Everyone worked hard."
"It's no trouble, serving the boss!"
Ellie, Ouyang Cong, and the two doctors said in unison.
Yan Xiaoli was a bit bewildered, unsure what to say, and just stood there blankly.
"Ouyang Cong, take these two and go back first," Pan Han waved his hand, signaling that he could leave.
"Yes, Boss. Command me anytime you need anything," Ouyang Cong immediately replied, then, with the two doctors, bowed respectfully to Pan Han and turned to leave.
"You two also worked hard; go catch up on some sleep," Pan Han said somewhat apologetically, seeing that both women looked quite tired.
"Boss, you scared me to death last night," Ellie said, tears instantly flowing down her face as she started crying again.
"Alright, alright, aren't I fine now?" Pan Han gently comforted her, stroking her hair.
"Pan Han, are you really alright?" Yan Xiaoli sat on the edge of the bed, looking at him with concern.
At this moment, Yan Xiaoli seemed like an understanding older sister, her eyes full of care.
"I'm really fine. In fact, I feel even better. Don't believe me? Look, my dick is rock hard!" Pan Han, seeing their continued worry, simply resorted to an adult joke.
Seeing him like this, the two women exchanged glances, both blushing slightly.
They remembered the poker game from that day.
But since Pan Han said so, they could only believe him, especially since the doctors had just confirmed he was fine.
Once they truly relaxed, a wave of exhaustion immediately washed over them.
The two women stretched and began to prepare for sleep.
Yan Xiaoli turned and went back to her room, while Ellie simply collapsed in Pan Han's room, not wanting to move.
Pan Han went to the balcony, lit a cigarette, and looked into the distance.
"System, come out! What exactly is going on?" Pan Han demanded sharply in his mind.
No one responded to him.
He asked again, but the system continued to play dead, as if nothing had happened last night.
"Damn it, it really kills without burying!" Pan Han was somewhat speechless.
He was afraid the system would pull another stunt like this on him in the future.
If he suddenly became unconscious during a battle, what was the point of playing anymore?
But with the system silent, he was helpless, so he just cursed a few times and sat down obediently.
"Forget it, let's play a few ranked games." He had just taken out his phone when a sound suddenly rang in his mind.
Ding!
A map appeared in Pan Han's mind, blurry but recognizable as Dawn Base.
"Huh?? What is this?" Pan Han quickly used his consciousness to zoom in on the map.
It was just like zooming in on a game map.
Gradually, the base's outline became clearer and clearer, and he could vaguely see figures moving.
"Holy crap, it really is Dawn Base!" Pan Han exclaimed.
So he zoomed in again, and he could already clearly see the outlines of the figures, able to distinguish who they were, but not their faces.
"Isn't that Cheng Xiao and Asiba??" Pan Han frowned.
These two started so early in the morning?
In the image, two flesh-colored figures, with a thin layer of mosaic, one with enormous breasts, the other with long flowing hair.
Who else could it be besides Cheng Xiao and Asiba??
Pan Han, having watched countless videos, had long achieved the state of 'no mosaic in his heart'; this little matter couldn't stump him.
Immediately afterward, a faint groan reached Pan Han's mind.
"Holy crap, how can I see the base's image??" Pan Han was completely bewildered: "Does this mean that the evolution the system mentioned last night meant this?? I can cross space to check on the apocalypse at any time?"
This matter was extremely significant! Pan Han could hardly believe it.
If he could know the situation of the apocalypse in real-time, he could cross over at any time.
This way, he wouldn't miss any major events at the base.
Before, when he crossed over, he would only catch things if he happened to; if not, he'd miss them.
It was very passive, but with this ability, it was different now.
"This is too awesome!" Pan Han excitedly bounced on the balcony.
Yan Xiaoli and Ellie heard the commotion and quickly rushed out, afraid something had happened to him again.
Pan Han stuck out his tongue, indicating he was fine, and told them to go back to sleep with peace of mind.
After seeing the two off, Pan Han sat quietly on the sofa. He opened his divine sense again to observe the apocalypse.
Through the thin mosaic, Pan Han could clearly distinguish what the two women were using, and he secretly noted it down.
When he had time to go back, he would ask about the situation. If they confirmed it, then it would mean this image was real-time.
As long as he could confirm this, it would be enough.
Pan Han even wanted to shout at them to see if they could hear him.
But he held back. This function absolutely could not be discovered by others.
Otherwise, having a pair of eyes constantly watching them would make anyone uncomfortable.
Either Pan Han played dumb, or everyone played dumb.
But everyone couldn't be aware!
If the people at the base knew Pan Han could monitor their words and movements at any time.
Then everyone would put on a show for him.
At that point, this function would be effectively useless.
"The system is amazing, it's like giving me a set of Imperial Guards!" After a long time, Pan Han finally calmed down and murmured to himself.
But he hadn't yet figured out how to use it.
Besides observing Cheng Xiao and the other woman, he adjusted his perspective to look at Qin Zhong and the others.
However, he still couldn't hear clearly what everyone was saying, only vaguely catching a few words like 'Commander Sir'.
"Damn it, the image is censored, and the sound is also censored! What's the point?" After cursing a few times, Pan Han suddenly remembered the system saying last night that it congratulated him on his successful evolution.
"Could it be that this wasn't given by the system?? Did I gain this ability myself?"
"Ding!" An electronic voice rang in his mind.
"Holy crap, Big Bro, you finally came out." Pan Han let out a long sigh of relief; the system had finally arrived.
"Host, your inner demons are now gone, and you can safely begin advanced evolution. Goodbye!" After saying that, Pan Han's mind went blank, filled with static and crackling noises.
"Well, it's gone again." Pan Han understood that the system had finished its reminder and was gone again.
"Advanced evolution? It seems I need to make a trip to the Twelve Palaces!" Pan Han stood up, looking out the window with burning eyes.
