305: I finally softened my heart

After settling the women, the three immediately took off, rushing non-stop to the next two bases.

The previous joint attack on Daughter Country by the three bases indicated their close communication.

When something happened at Black Prison, they surely knew about it.

It was imperative to act before they were ready, striving for victory with the least possible cost.

These matters did not need to be explicitly stated; Pan Han and the other two understood.

After flying for a few minutes, a rain of bullets descended from the sky, attacking the second base.

This base had an even smaller population, less than 500 people. In less than two minutes, the base was declared lost.

Pan Han and the other two did not go down to finish the job this time, but instead headed straight for the third base.

A few minutes later, the third base was declared annihilated.

Only then did the three have time to do the cleanup work.

Upon inspection, these two bases only had 12 remaining Daughter Country members, but over 200 base survivors.

Some of them had been abducted, while others were relatives or friends of deceased members.

Pan Han keenly sensed that the atmosphere on site was not right.

Many women looked at the three and the Daughter Country members with resentment, secretly glaring at them.

"How do you plan to handle them?" Pan Han asked Dili Abasi.

"Ask if anyone is willing to join us."

Pan Han frowned upon hearing this.

Clearly, Dili Abasi was overflowing with compassion at this moment.

People are often like this: what you rely on to start, you can only continue down that path.

This is the legendary path dependence.

Dili Abasi must be thinking of restoring Daughter Country now.

"Sister, this is not appropriate. It's too dangerous," Cheng Xiao immediately stepped forward to stop her.

"What do you mean, Sister?"

"We just killed their families, why should we take them in? They are all ticking time bombs," Cheng Xiao said decisively, while placing a hand in front of Dili Abasi.

"They are all women and children," Dili Abasi said, a little anxious upon hearing this.

"I know, but taking them back is too dangerous."

After speaking, Cheng Xiao looked at Pan Han.

This matter could only be decided by Pan Han. If he disagreed, Dili Abasi would certainly have no choice.

"Dawn Base can only accept original Daughter Country members. As for the others, let them fend for themselves," Pan Han said resolutely after a long period of thought.

He did not trust these base survivors.

As the leader of the base, he could not take this risk.

Dili Abasi's eyes dimmed slightly upon hearing this, and after a moment of hesitation, she also nodded in agreement.

Pan Han's decision was unquestionable! Because everyone depended on him for their livelihood.

The logic was that simple.

"Okay, I accept this decision," Dili Abasi said.

"Sister, safety first, don't be impulsive," Cheng Xiao immediately comforted her when she saw her compromise.

"I'll go find a vehicle and take all the Daughter Country members from both bases to Black Prison," Pan Han said, then climbed out of his mech and started looking for a truck.

"I'll go back to Black Prison and wait for you," Dili Abasi said.

"I'll go to the second base and wait for you," Cheng Xiao said without hesitation.

Pan Han nodded; this division of labor was very reasonable.

After speaking, everyone departed.

Pan Han found a truck and drove straight to the second base with the Daughter Country members.

His mech cruised in the air, providing special vision and protection.

The two bases were very close by air, but it would take at least 2 hours to drive.

Pan Han floored the accelerator, driving desperately.

By the time Cheng Xiao arrived at the second base, several Daughter Country members had already completed the search for the remaining members.

Daughter Country members, holding rifles, were guarding them.

Originally, some people here wanted to take the opportunity to resist, but seeing Cheng Xiao arrive in a mech, they immediately abandoned the idea.

Are you kidding? Who could beat a mech?

If nothing unexpected happened, something unexpected was about to happen.

Indeed, when Dili Abasi returned to Black Prison Base, she found that all the Daughter Country members had been killed.

Their bodies were riddled with bullet holes, and some had broken limbs.

When Dili Abasi landed, apart from the ground covered in corpses, no other base survivors could be seen.

"Mech, go search. Kill any living person you see!" Dili Abasi climbed out and gave the death order.

After the mech left, a wave of sorrow welled up in Dili Abasi's heart.

She silently walked to the corpses, looking at the former members of Daughter Country; she could still recognize some of them.

Their past voices, appearances, and smiles appeared one by one before her eyes.

That once peaceful and serene Daughter Country had now lost another group of members.

"Ah!!!!" Dili Abasi wailed, unable to hold back any longer, finally bursting into tears.

"I'm too late. I'm sorry to all of you," Dili Abasi picked up a dead member, continuously caressing her tender face.

In the apocalypse, there is no medicine for regret!

A compassionate heart will always pay a price!

What you value most, you often lose in the end.

This is the apocalypse; if you don't accept it, you die.

One, one, and another.

Dili Abasi arranged the Daughter Country members one by one, neatly lined up.

Dili Abasi bowed deeply to them.

There was no Daughter Country anymore; Dili Abasi's heart was now like dead ashes.

She didn't know what to say, or perhaps there was no need to say anything anymore.

A burst of gunfire in the distance interrupted Dili Abasi's grief.

She stood up, looked in the direction of the gunfire, her gaze leaving the Daughter Country members' bodies, becoming incredibly hard.

"They all must die!" Dili Abasi coldly uttered three words.

She quickly went to the mech and climbed inside.

It turned out that this group of survivors was hiding in a cellar.

It seemed that Black Prison Base usually had a lot of training.

Dili Abasi checked her ammunition; she still had 8 rockets and over 300 machine gun rounds left.

In her rage, she directly ripped open the cellar door.

Instantly, countless bullets hit the mech, clanging loudly.

But it was useless; ordinary rifles weren't even enough to tickle it!

After a burst of gunfire, the scene was dead silent.

The survivors stared blankly at the mech, while Dili Abasi coldly stared at the survivors.

Slowly, she raised her arm.

The shooting began, and the cellar was instantly filled with a mist of blood.

Screams and wails were endless.

There were even some small children among them, but Dili Abasi did not stop.

"Ah!!!!!!!!" She howled, firing frantically, venting the rage in her heart.

Because of her single misstep, Daughter Country members were killed.

The people in front of her must die!

The same mistake must never happen to Dawn Base!

All the bullets were fired, and smoke billowed from the gun barrel before Dili Abasi calmed down.

She collapsed by the doorway, drenched in sweat, her mind a blank.

At this moment, a little girl's voice came from the pile of corpses.

"Mommy! Mommy!" She was crawling on a head-shot corpse, screaming, wailing, and constantly shaking the woman's body.

"You stinky woman, give me back my mommy!" This little girl was only about ten years old, and at this moment, she was filled with endless rage.

The little girl tremblingly picked up a rifle from the ground and aimed it at Dili Abasi.

Bang, bang, bang!

After emptying the magazine, the little girl charged directly with the gun, fiercely smashing Dili Abasi's helmet.

"Give me back my mommy!"

"Give me back my mommy!"

After a long while, the little girl was tired, sitting on the ground, panting.

Dili Abasi's hand slowly rose, but ultimately did not fall.

She stood up and turned to leave.

She was not a person who killed indiscriminately, and she couldn't bring herself to harm a child!

"Don't go! Give me back my mommy!" The little girl chased after her, hitting her as she went.

"Sigh!" Dili Abasi turned around, knocked the little girl unconscious, gently put her down, and then walked away without looking back.
