475: The Chief of Staff jumped out

"Okay, Grandpa Pan, I'll arrange for people immediately." The President completely let go of himself; since the facts couldn't be changed, he was very willing to comply.

What is face? It's not important at all! What's important is that he can step down alive!

Moreover, he had already thought it through: once the agreement was signed, he would resign voluntarily.

There was no need to wait for others to impeach him!

He was completely fed up with being this shitty President! Whoever wants to do it can do it!

"Wait a moment!"

A voice pierced the silence; it was the Chief of the General Staff.

He walked up to Pan Han, straightened his collar, and said, "Mr. Pan. May I ask if withdrawing from the First Island Chain is your requirement, or the Dragon Kingdom's requirement?"

The President's pupils constricted upon hearing this; he sensed something was wrong and quietly moved back two steps.

Sure enough, Pan Han frowned after hearing this and said, "What does that have to do with you?"

"This..." The Chief of the General Staff was stunned by the retort and could only hold his nose and explain, "If it's possible, we are willing to exchange it for other conditions."

He was a soldier after all, having participated in the construction of the First Island Chain when he was young, and he had deep feelings for this project.

Moreover, the military-industrial complex stood behind him, and he still wanted to salvage the last shred of dignity.

"Alright! I can tell you the answer, but after you hear it, you must commit suicide. How about that?"

Pan Han smiled slightly, finding this kind of game quite fun.

Don't you want to stand out? Pay with your life, otherwise just obediently get out of the way.

"Enough! Pan Han, do you think everyone is afraid of you! The fleet is gone, and I, the Chief of the General Staff, am useless anyway. Today, I'll fight you to the death."

To everyone's surprise, the Chief of the General Staff suddenly went berserk.

He had had enough. Starting from his grandfather, his family had served in the military for generations, step by step building this empire for the Eagle.

When he was young, he dared to bayonet fight with enemies on the battlefield, and now he was willing to sacrifice his life for the empire!

After speaking, he took off his military jacket, removed his service ribbons, and laid them out neatly.

The President and the others were all stunned, and surprisingly, no one stepped forward to stop him.

Everyone probably understood that this man with distinguished military achievements was preparing to die.

Pan Han looked at him with interest; this guy was indeed a tough nut to crack.

It seems the Eagle hasn't completely degenerated; at critical moments, someone is willing to step up.

For such a person, one must satisfy him.

He's just asking for a reputation, so doing him a favor by killing him, wouldn't that be delightful?

Everything prepared, the Chief of the General Staff bowed deeply to the President and the others, looked up, and said, "Colleagues, I will take my leave first. Long live the Eagle Empire!"

After speaking, he turned around, raised both fists, and assumed an attack stance.

"I couldn't tell, you actually know boxing." Pan Han saw this and slowly stood up.

"Let you taste the power of my old fists." The Chief of the General Staff finished speaking and threw a punch.

In Pan Han's eyes, it was as slow as a rock on the side of the road, but he didn't dodge.

Instead, he took the Chief of the General Staff's punch squarely.

The President and others had thought the Chief of the General Staff would be killed in one move, but they didn't expect him to actually hit Pan Han, and they all exclaimed in surprise.

"Old man, put some effort into it!" Pan Han didn't even move; he could feel someone touching him, but it didn't hurt at all.

"Hah!" The Chief of the General Staff tried his best to throw another punch.

This time, Pan Han lightly flexed his muscles, turning them as hard as steel. When the fist hit them, there was a "bang" sound.

"Ah!!!"

The Chief of the General Staff clutched his fist and screamed; there was no doubt it was broken.

His aide saw this and hurriedly went up to support him: "Are you okay?"

"Don't move! Get away!" The Chief of the General Staff looked at the young aide and pushed him away fiercely.

He didn't want the aide to be targeted by Pan Han; it was enough for him to die alone, no need to drag others into it.

"Old man, I'll give you three moves, one last chance remaining. You must seize it! Come on!" Pan Han saw the scene was quite moving, so he said.

"Hehe! Mr. Pan, I thank your whole family. Although I can't kill you, the spirit of the Eagle cannot be killed either! Today, let me protect it!"

After speaking, the Chief of the General Staff endured the excruciating pain, wobbled to his feet, and his eyes shone with light again.

A certain nation wouldn't stand on top of the world for no reason.

If it weren't for Pan Han's sudden emergence, the Eagle would still be ruling the Blue Planet for who knows how many more years.

Although Pan Han was his enemy, he had to admit that this old guy still had some ideals.

And he was willing to face death calmly for his ideals, which, from any angle, was worthy of respect.

"Alright, come on!"

Pan Han said calmly, his eyes burning as he stared at the Chief of the General Staff.

"Hey-hah!" The Chief of the General Staff let out a shrill cry and threw another punch.

This time, it hit Pan Han squarely in the face.

Unfortunately, Pan Han's nose was now harder than titanium alloy, like a sharp dagger, piercing through the Chief of the General Staff's fist.

"Ah!"

This time, the Chief of the General Staff was not only in unbearable pain, but blood also flowed down through his fingers.

"Three moves have passed, do you have anything else to say?" To be honest, Pan Han didn't really want to kill him now.

"Long live the Eagle!"

The Chief of the General Staff struggled to raise his two crippled hands and shouted to his colleagues.

Everyone was encouraged by his momentum and wanted to shout along, but they lacked the courage and could only grit their teeth and watch him.

Pan Han nodded; this old man was actually quite interesting. It would be nice if he could come to the apocalypse and hang out with him.

Unfortunately, there are no "ifs" in everything!

That's it for this life; come back in the next life.

After speaking, Pan Han gently snapped his fingers, and the Chief of the General Staff's body instantly turned into ash.

In an instant, he disappeared from the world.

"Chief of the General Staff!" The aide fell to his knees with a thud, scooped up a handful of ash, and wept bitterly while holding his head.

"Does anyone else object?" Pan Han didn't mind the trouble at this moment and was willing to fulfill their wishes.

...

Except for the aide crying, no one dared to take a step forward.

No matter how awesome a human is, they couldn't possibly be Pan Han's opponent.

Pan Han waited for the time it takes to smoke a cigarette, then spoke again: "Is the agreement signed?"

"Grandpa Pan, you know we in the Eagle are a country ruled by law; the agreement can't be done that quickly." The President licked his lips and said.

"Forget it then. You go do your business. Give it to me whenever it's done. If you don't, that's fine too; it's just a piece of paper anyway. When you think you're capable again, you'll still go back on your word."

Pan Han's words were not false; for such a humiliating leap, any country would surely seek revenge if they had the capability.

"I will send people to take over the Knight Order, and you should hurry up with the withdrawal from the First Island Chain. I'm warning everyone in advance: I can know about all actions. Don't play any tricks."

After speaking, Pan Han disappeared on the spot.

Inside the operations hall, it was silent.

This group of Eagle people, some sat on the ground panting heavily, some took out cigarettes to smoke, and others hugged each other, thanking God for letting them survive, but no one spoke.

Don't know how long passed, the President remembered he still had things to do.

So he issued the most painful order of his life: all troops stationed in the First Island Chain were to be withdrawn to the country.
