397: Crossfire

On an amphibious assault ship 120 kilometers away from Knight Island, Chris was sitting in the command room.

In front of him were several screens displaying various feeds, including satellite maps, real-time drone footage, and helmet camera feeds from the combat soldiers.

On the screen, a figure flashed out at high speed and bolted straight into the dense forest.

"Heh heh! Definitely not an ordinary person!" Chris smiled, as if he had discovered prey.

"Team One, attention! Team One, attention! The target has entered the dense forest directly in front of you. Prepare for contact!"

"Black Shadow One, Black Shadow Two, be ready to provide support!"

"Longbow One, provide support to the dense forest!"

Chris twirled a pencil in one hand while gripping the microphone with the other, directing the battle.

"Team One, received!"

"Black Hawk One received, Two received!"

"Longbow One received!"

Just after issuing the orders, Chris switched the monitors to night vision mode.

His sixteen soldiers were surrounding the dense forest; the IFF lights on their helmets blinked, resembling sixteen deadly meteors.

"What's going on?"

In the next second, Chris exclaimed, and the pencil in his hand snapped.

"Where is he???"

Chris wished he could press his face against the screen, but there was no figure in the dense forest!

The figure that had run out just a moment ago was gone!

That's insane!

What the hell!

"Attention everyone, attention everyone. There might be an underground hideout in the dense forest. Target lost!"

He hurriedly relayed the situation to the front lines.

At this moment, Pan Han was holding his pistol, hiding under his invisibility cloak, with his divine sense fully expanded, covering everything above and below ground.

"Sixteen people sent to their deaths." Pan Han holstered his pistol and drew his dagger.

At this time, Team One, the soldiers, had already entered the dense forest.

All members were equipped with quad-lens night vision goggles and began a full-scale search.

To their surprise, this patch of dense forest was not large, and the sixteen of them should have been able to find the target quickly.

Just then, Pan Han quietly appeared behind one of the soldiers.

A cold glint flashed, a head fell, and the soldier didn't even make a sound.

A nearby soldier noticed the commotion, and just as he turned around, he felt a chill at his throat—a long, deep gash.

The soldier bled out on the spot, dropped his rifle, covered his throat with both hands, and let out muffled cries for help.

The blade had been drawn, and the blood was still warm!

Since he had already started, there was no reason to stop.

Pan Han lunged left and thrusted right, slashing horizontally and vertically; in less than five seconds, he had taken down ten people.

The remaining six could only see their teammates falling, but couldn't see any figure.

In the end, they could only run while firing, preparing to retreat from the dense forest.

On the screens in the command room and through the microphones, various screams, gunshots, cries for retreat, and shouts could be heard.

Chris stared at the battlefield without blinking, afraid of missing a single detail.

By the time the second pencil was snapped again, the sixteen members of Team One had all been killed.

Sixteen vital sign monitoring lines, accompanied by beeping sounds, formed sixteen parallel lines.

The battlefield suddenly fell into a deathly silence.

Chris stood stunned for a full five seconds before he suddenly remembered something and shouted into the microphone: "Fire!"

At the command, the four Vulcan machine guns on the two Black Hawk helicopters and the rockets from the Apache helicopter all opened fire.

The four machine guns unleashed full firepower with maximum rate of fire, spitting out four tongues of fire from the air, firing wildly.

The Apache rockets surged out of the rocket pods, heading straight for the dense forest.

The fire ignited the dense forest, turning the seaside bright red.

Ellie and the bodyguards were stunned by the scene before them.

Ellie went crazy, wanting to rush into the dense forest to save Pan Han.

But she was held back by the bodyguards; going there now would be suicide!

The three helicopters unleashed firepower in the air for a full minute, exhausting all their ammunition and rockets.

The trees in the dense forest were knocked over, the sand and soil were churned up, and flames were burning everywhere.

"Boss!!!!" Ellie let out a desperate cry, her eyes blurred with tears.

"Hehehe! If you can still survive this, that would be even more interesting." Chris looked at the screen and licked his lips.

In fact, after killing the last six people, Pan Han had headed straight for the beach, moving away from the dense forest.

He had been a spectator to the bombardment just now as well.

He even had time to clean the bloodstains off his invisibility cloak.

"You bitch! I'll kill you." Ellie suddenly remembered that Ayaka Kurai was still upstairs.

Just as she turned to go upstairs, there was already an exchange of fire on the other three sides.

She glared fiercely upstairs and saw Ayaka Kurai standing by the window, looking at her with a smile.

The smile was ghostly and desperate.

Pan Han didn't intend to give them any time; he had already crept behind the team on the left.

However, it was a bit troublesome this time; he had to dodge the bullets coming from the direction of the villa.

"Members on the left, cease fire first." Helplessly, he took out his walkie-talkie and instructed the bodyguards.

Sure enough, a few seconds after receiving the order, there were no more gunshots from inside the villa.

"Damn it, not good! Team Two, retreat quickly!" Chris reacted immediately; Pan Han was about to launch another attack.

Unfortunately, he was a step too slow.

The slaughter began again!

In less than thirty seconds, sixteen soldiers were killed again.

Snap, another pencil broken!

"FUCK!"

Chris was a graduate of West Point and had participated in countless battles, but his head was buzzing right now!

It felt as if someone had smacked him a few times with the crank of a hand-tractor.

Two battles, thirty-two men killed!

How was he supposed to write this report?

"All ground personnel, retreat!"

"All ground personnel, retreat!"

Chris let out a hellish roar; if they didn't leave now, they would all be done for!

This was the most elite SEAL Team Six!

The order was given, and the remaining two teams of soldiers began to retreat toward the landing point.

The Black Hawk helicopters landed one by one, preparing to pick them up.

How could Pan Han give them a chance?

Currently, Team Three was closest to him, at the back of the villa, about 150 meters away.

A full-speed sprint would only take three seconds.

But there was a problem: at such high speed, the invisibility cloak might not be able to keep up!

Pan Han simply put away the invisibility cloak and sprinted at full speed.

This time, everyone could see him.

A figure faster than a cheetah kicked up dust behind it as it bolted straight toward Team Three.

The machine gunner on the side of the helicopter responsible for extraction spotted Pan Han first and was so scared that he opened fire immediately.

Unfortunately, Pan Han's divine sense reacted faster than him, and before his finger could pull the trigger, Pan Han had already adjusted his direction.

He could even deliberately choose to run along the path of the SEAL soldiers, so the machine gun would be in a blind spot.

After all, the gunner couldn't shoot through his own men to hit Pan Han.

Pan Han's speed was so fast that it only left the opponent 0.618 seconds to shoot.

As long as they missed, sorry, you're done for!

After killing the sixteen men, Pan Han dove into the helicopter, fired a few shots, and killed the entire crew.

"One last team left! Stay here for me!" Pan Han suddenly unleashed his full murderous aura, veins bulging.

"Everyone dies tonight!"

Ellie and the bodyguards in the villa couldn't see the situation in the distance and could only guess that Pan Han had made his move.

And Ayaka Kurai, standing upstairs, was holding a Mate with 100x zoom, aiming at the battle scene.

The camera captured Pan Han's face steadily and clearly!

"He really is amazing!"
