358: National Restaurant, a lifelong companion

Pan Han sent Cheng Xiao off, then returned to his bedroom alone, preparing to transmigrate.

Before leaving, he reviewed the entire Wei Monk incident again.

The young man's image and voice reappeared before his eyes. After a long moment, he sighed.

"Goodbye, Heshang. I hope you get a chance to be a good person in your next life."

Pan Han didn't want to see Wei Monk's head hanging on the city gate, nor did he want to see Wang Xiong executed.

He could make this decision, but he didn't want to witness it personally.

Space rippled slightly, and Pan Han transmigrated back to his large apartment.

Today, he needed to meet Qin Hongbing and Ellie to finalize the National Restaurant business.

This was Pan Han's first formal entrepreneurial venture, and his starting position was very high. Not only did he aim for a national chain, but he also focused on an affordable route.

After sending a message to Ellie in advance, Pan Han went downstairs, bought some snacks and small gifts that children love, and then headed straight to the hotel.

By the time he parked his car, Ellie and Qin Hongbing had come out to greet him.

"Come on, let's talk inside. It's quite cold out here." As soon as Pan Han got out of the car, he felt a slight chill.

At this time, the capital had already entered early winter, and the heating in every home was on.

He wasn't afraid of the cold himself, but Ellie and Qin Hongbing were clearly shivering.

Ellie always dressed this way, and Qin Hongbing probably hadn't had time to buy winter clothes yet.

Pan Han pulled two plastic bags from the trunk and led the two upstairs.

As soon as they entered the room, they saw Little Ling peeling an apple, her face flushed with a serious expression.

Seeing Pan Han and another aunt enter, she quickly put down the apple and knife, ran forward and hugged Pan Han: "Uncle is here!"

"Hey, Little Ling, I came to see you." Pan Han affectionately stroked her head and handed her the two large bags.

"Thank you, Uncle! Who is this auntie?"

"She's not an auntie; call her Ellie Jie (Sister)." As expected, Pan Han automatically elevated himself a generation.

Ellie was surprised by how sensible and cute the little girl was, so she also squatted down, stroked her head, and sweetly responded.

After Pan Han chatted with Little Ling about her condition for a while, he had Ellie and Qin Hongbing explain the situation downstairs.

"Boss, we've already started acquisition talks for the four restaurants downstairs. Two of them are small shops, and the owners readily agreed. The other two are chain restaurants and require approval from their headquarters," Ellie said seriously, opening a small notebook.

"Hmm, proceed with other matters simultaneously; don't delay."

"Yes, Boss. The designer has been found. They will quickly provide all design drawings, and then we'll ask for your decision."

"We haven't thought of a slogan yet!" Pan Han suddenly remembered this question.

Ellie nodded, while Qin Hongbing and Little Ling looked bewildered.

"Boss Pan, what's a 'si lou gen'?"

"It's the brand's slogan or tagline," Ellie immediately replied.

"Oh, I understand. When I ran a restaurant before, I never thought about these things." Qin Hongbing pushed up his glasses, and his face suddenly turned red.

"Old Qin, why are you wearing glasses?" Pan Han saw his refined appearance and thought he shouldn't misunderstand English.

"Sigh, when I was in school, I didn't study well and spent all my time reading web novels. That's why I became nearsighted." Qin Hongbing chuckled awkwardly, continuously rubbing the back of his head.

"Web novels aren't very meaningful; read less of them in the future. Do more proper things!" Pan Han said with emotion upon hearing this, reminded of a classmate of his.

"Yes, Boss Pan is right. I don't read them anymore."

"Ellie, what are your suggestions for the slogan?" Whenever discussing a problem, Pan Han would instinctively pull out a cigarette, but then he suddenly saw Little Ling and put it back.

Never smoke in front of children.

When he was very young, he had a very close playmate. One day, his grandfather, wanting to tease the child, took a puff of an old man's pipe and blew it at the playmate, who immediately foamed at the mouth.

By the time they reached the hospital, the playmate had already passed away.

Pan Han only heard his mother talk about this incident when he was about ten years old.

He had always thought his playmate had been sent away by his parents.

"Boss. If our restaurant is called National Restaurant, the slogan could be: The Nation's First Choice Restaurant." Ellie clearly thought of this on the spot; fortunately, she was a top student, otherwise, she wouldn't have been able to answer immediately.

Because Qin Hongbing was still biting his fingernails, his brows furrowed in deep thought.

"Old Qin, stop biting. What do you say?" Pan Han, sharp-eyed, interrupted Qin Hongbing.

"Uh, Boss Pan, how about: National Restaurant, Delicious and Affordable!"

As soon as he finished speaking, Pan Han, Ellie, and Little Ling all burst out laughing.

This slogan was too rustic!

"Old Qin, you've thought well, but think again." Pan Han waved his hand, signaling Qin Hongbing to sit down.

"Listen to mine. National Restaurant, Companionship for Life." Pan Han also thought of this on the way.

The main focus is companionship, using the three characteristics of safety, deliciousness, and affordability to win over the common people.

The taste might not be the best, but it will definitely be the most reliable choice when people don't know what to eat.

It's somewhat similar to Toyota in the automotive sector.

This company's cars are neither outstanding nor lagging, excelling in reliability and durability.

When you want a car that you can drive for ten years without worry, many people will think of it.

Recently, the Dragon Country's automotive industry has also developed rapidly, but there is still some gap compared to Toyota.

Thinking of Toyota, Pan Han's mouth curved into a slight smile. This wasn't a Knight Order industry; he had some new ideas.

Heh heh heh!

"Wait until this busy period is over. Little Toyota, you just wait for me." Pan Han already had a plan in his heart.

"This is good!" Ellie and Qin Hongbing both praised Pan Han's answer.

After all, a slogan becomes effective when it's repeated often enough.

Since the boss personally made the decision, why struggle? They would use it.

"Then that's it, Ellie, make a note. Arrange for a designer later."

"Yes, Boss!"

Little Ling, standing nearby, stared blankly at the two, her mouth wide open.

"Uncle Pan, Ellie Jie (Sister), you two talk just like people on TV!" Little Ling said softly, her eyes full of admiration.

Pan Han remembered watching TVB dramas when he was little; their way of speaking felt especially sophisticated.

But when he conducted business himself, he didn't find it that high-class!

He was still a 'diaosi' (loser) image.

What about the promised sharp suits and black stockings with high heels???

"Little Ling, get well soon, and later I'll let Sister Xiaoli take you to film a movie; we'll really be on TV." Pan Han said, stroking Little Ling.

"Ah?? Sister Xiaoli makes movies? No wonder she looks a bit like a big star." Little Ling had a look of sudden realization; she even thought Pan Han looked like a big star.

"Of course. I promised you this, and I can make it happen." Pan Han smiled.

"Uncle Pan is so kind!" Saying this, Little Ling threw herself into Pan Han's arms and kissed his cheek.

So sweet!

So sometimes Pan Han just couldn't understand. Why are there people in this world who are unkind to children!

Shouldn't these future flowers of humanity be carefully nurtured?
