85: If you don't have a checkup, you won't get sick.

After dinner, everyone had no activities and found places to rest for the afternoon.

Pan Han also enjoyed a rare moment of peace, lying on the sofa, smoking and playing ranked matches.

He lost three games in a row!

"Damn it, how come my luck got worse after coming back home? Forget it, I'm not playing anymore. I already have a system; I can't be played by King of Glory's system," Pan Han cursed and put down his phone.

Everyone in the family was asleep, but he was still full of energy, so he decided to drive out for a stroll.

"They wouldn't check for drunk driving in broad daylight, right?" Pan Han checked his watch; it was only three in the afternoon.

After his evolution, he rarely felt the effects of alcohol. He had only drunk less than half a catty today, and there wasn't even a hint of alcohol on his breath.

"Forget it, I don't care. I'll just stroll around and come back."

He quietly opened the door, afraid of disturbing everyone. These past few days had been tiring, and a nap was a rare luxury.

The afternoon sun was bright, and Pan Han drove with one hand, listening to music from the top-tier sound system.

There was an indescribable feeling of comfort.

Soon, he drove to his former middle school.

The students were still in class, and waves of reading sounds came from the classrooms.

Pan Han's thoughts drifted back a few years. In middle school, he was a good student with excellent character and academics. His grades were always among the best, and he scored exceptionally well on the college entrance exam, directly getting into a university in the capital.

That year, he truly brought honor to his parents, and neighbors praised him, saying he would surely have a bright future.

Thinking of this, Pan Han couldn't help but smile wryly.

If he hadn't been bound by the system, he would have drifted in the capital for a few years, not knowing when he would save enough money to buy a house, let alone get a wife.

"Huh? Isn't that my former homeroom teacher?" As Pan Han looked towards the teaching building, he spotted a familiar figure in a classroom.

He adjusted his eyes, looked closely, and actually recognized him.

"Haha, that old man He, he didn't scold me any less back then."

Teacher He was a math teacher. Back then, Pan Han's math was his weakest subject. As a homeroom teacher, seeing a top student struggle with math, he certainly gave him a lot of "special tutoring."

"Sigh, old man He has a lot more white hair, but he still lectures with such passion." Pan Han took out his phone, zoomed in, and took a picture of his former homeroom teacher.

"Oh? Isn't that Senior Sister Qingqing? She's already back as a teacher? Take a picture!"

"Haha, this old dog is actually still wandering around campus! How old is it now? Take a picture!"

"Holy cow, these two little kids are actually kissing. Take a picture!"

Pan Han's memories kept surging, and his phone kept clicking.

After taking the pictures, he checked the album, crying and laughing by turns, completely engrossed.

After a while, he finally came back to his senses.

"When I make more money, I'll donate some to the school. Renovate the buildings, get some new equipment, and so on." Pan Han truly missed his alma mater and thought that since he was doing well now, he could give back.

Goodbye, my alma mater. Goodbye, homeroom teacher. Goodbye, senior sister. Goodbye, old dog.

I'll be back!

Pan Han then drove to KFC and bought a pile of egg tarts, cola, chicken wings, and so on. He guessed his parents usually wouldn't eat this stuff, so since the county also had one, he'd let everyone try it.

By the time he got home, his relatives were all awake, gathered around, cracking sunflower seeds and chatting.

Pan Han set out the food and told everyone to help themselves.

Pan Han's parents looked at him and saw that he had grown up and become sensible, and they couldn't help but smile contentedly.

...

In a blink of an eye, it was the next morning, and everyone prepared according to the plan.

Pan Han took his mother, Second Aunt, and Second Aunts Husband directly to the capital. He also created a temporary WeChat group and added Yan Xiaoli and Wang Doudou.

On the way, he kept reporting their location.

"We'll be there in about half an hour," Pan Han sent a voice message in the group.

"Okay, we're already waiting at the hospital," Wang Doudou replied.

After Pan Han's mother joined the group, she saw two beautiful female avatars and couldn't help but click to view them.

"Son, are these your friends from the capital? They're all so pretty!"

"Yes. You'll see when you meet them later, they're even prettier than their avatars." Pan Han thought, I have another pretty girl in another world, but unfortunately, you can't see her.

Half an hour passed quickly, and Pan Han already saw the hospital.

This hospital was located in the mountains on the outskirts, with a tranquil environment and a very large area. When they entered the main gate, the security guard saluted after seeing the license plate.

Even though Pan Han's family was from a small county, they could feel how high-class this place was.

"Pan, this hospital is so high-class, will the fees be very high?" Second Aunt asked worriedly.

"No matter how expensive, can it be more expensive than my Second Aunt?"

When everyone heard this, their hearts felt warm.

Pan Han drove the car to the main entrance and saw Wang Doudou and Yan Xiaoli already waiting at the door.

"You're here!" Wang Doudou stepped forward first to greet them.

"Okay, you two take Second Aunt up first. I'll go park the car and find you later," Pan Han instructed, then told his family to get out of the car first.

"Okay, President Pan, leave it to us," Yan Xiaoli quickly opened the car door.

Pan Han's mother quickly said thank you, and she proactively helped Second Aunt and followed Wang Doudou and Yan Xiaoli.

"This must be Second Aunt, right?" Wang Doudou saw someone being helped and roughly guessed.

"Yes, yes," Second Aunts Husband quickly replied from the side.

"Second Aunt, don't worry. We'll do a full check-up upstairs first. Then just wait for the results. Don't overthink it, everything will be fine," Wang Doudou said softly.

"Thank you, girl. What's your name?" Second Aunt nodded her thanks.

"My name is Wang Doudou, and this is Yan Xiaoli. We are both good friends of Pan Han," Wang Doudou introduced generously.

"My son is really lucky to have made two such good friends," Pan Han's mother said, smiling at the two beautiful women.

"Not at all, not at all. It's our fortune to know Pan Han," Yan Xiaoli, flattered, quickly explained.

"No wonder people from big cities have high quality. They're so good at talking. I know what kind of capabilities my son has. You're still giving him such high praise."

Haha, everyone burst into happy laughter when they heard Pan Han's mother's words. The atmosphere eased considerably.

Wang Doudou led everyone to the ward on the 3rd floor. It was a suite of over 130 square meters, elegantly decorated, not looking like a hospital room at all.

"Everyone, please rest for a bit, the doctor will be here soon," Wang Doudou said, then sent Pan Han the room number, telling him to come directly there.

Three minutes later, the doctor arrived in the room with two nurses, with Pan Han following closely behind.

He simply inquired about the illness and looked at the previous diagnosis.

"Madam, let's go for the examination first. We'll discuss it in detail once the results are out."

"Doctor, can we do a full body check-up? Since we're here, why not check everything and treat any problems at once?" Pan Han suddenly spoke.

"That's fine with me, it just means you'll have to wait a bit longer for the results."

"Doudou, do you think that's okay?"

"Of course, that's fine. I was thinking the same thing anyway," Wang Doudou agreed with Pan Han's suggestion.

"Then please trouble the doctor to arrange it."

"Okay, you all stay here. The patient will come with me."

Second Aunts Husband looked at the full body check-up plan and seemed a bit nervous.

Pan Han noticed his uneasy expression and quietly asked, "Second Aunts Husband, are you also feeling unwell?"

"Nephew, there's an old saying in our family: 'If you don't get a check-up, you won't get sick.' If we do this comprehensive check-up, who knows what else might be found. I'm a little scared," Second Aunts Husband said, holding Pan Han's hand.

"Second Aunts Husband, why are you still so superstitious?" Pan Han didn't believe such nonsense.

...

Around 5 PM, Second Aunt and the doctor returned, both looking somewhat serious.

Pan Han looked at the lab report, which listed a long string of abnormalities and confirmed diagnoses:

Thyroid nodules! Breast hyperplasia! Ovarian cysts! Varicose veins! Lung tumor! Brain tumor!...

Holy cow! Not getting a check-up really means you won't get sick!
