411: New members of the end times

"Try getting out of bed and see if you can walk." Pan Han had so much he wanted to say, but this definitely wasn't the right place for it.

He wanted to take Ellie back to Dawn Base as soon as possible; only in his own home would he feel like he wouldn't lose her again.

"Alright, Boss." Ellie moved her limbs on the bed and found that they were flexible and free, with no obstacles.

She then rolled out of bed and stepped onto the floor with bare feet.

A cool sensation traveled from the soles of her feet up to her brain.

"So refreshing!" Ellie looked at her body in pleasant surprise.

"Why does it feel like my strength has increased?" Ellie walked around the bed and discovered that there was immense energy hidden within her body, as if she had an endless supply of strength.

"Look at your face again." Pan Han could sense the aura of an Intermediate Evolver from Ellie; it was very familiar and felt deeply intimate.

Ellie walked over to a mirror and stared at her face in disbelief.

Wasn't this herself when she was eighteen?

Although she wasn't very old now, years of training and life as an assassin had still left the marks of time and slaughter on her face.

But at this moment, it was as if she had returned to her school days, regaining her innocence and youthfulness.

This skin, this complexion, this feeling!

"What on earth happened to me?" Ellie touched her face, looking at this unfamiliar version of herself, feeling that it was extremely unreal.

"We'll find a time to go through it from beginning to end." Pan Han walked forward and gripped Ellie's shoulders from behind.

"Then let's go!" Ellie turned her head and said firmly.

"This place isn't your home; the scent isn't right."

"You're quite smart. This really isn't our home!"

"Our home?? Boss, I didn't hear that wrong, did I?" When Ellie heard those two words, her body felt as if it had been electrified.

"That's right, I'm going to give you a home. Though, it's a bit big."

"What do you mean by 'a bit big'?"

"You'll know when we get back."

After saying this, Pan Han took Ellie's hand and opened the door, where Xiao Wang was still waiting with a smile on his face.

"Lord Pan, Miss Ellie. How are you both feeling?"

"Very good, thank you for your hard work, Xiao Wang. Is there any procedure next?"

"My personal suggestion is to stay here for two more days to observe. Of course, if you are in a rush to go back, that is no problem either. As I said just now, Miss Ellie is perfect."

"Then we would like to return immediately." Pan Han breathed a sigh of relief when he heard him say that.

"You can contact Mr. Mo, after all, he is the one who brought you here."

"Alright, I'll go back and pack my things."

"Lord Pan, please wait a moment. We have some clothes to gift you; they are a very good fit." Xiao Wang turned around, took a white tight-fitting suit from the table, and pointed at Ellie.

Ellie looked down and saw that she was essentially stark naked; the thin layer of clothing didn't seem to cover anything at all.

The two of them had been too busy talking earlier and hadn't noticed this.

Pan Han took the clothes, and Xiao Wang left with a smile; there was no such thing as a third wheel here.

Ellie quickly got dressed and stood in front of the mirror to admire herself.

All she could say was, it was invincible!

The curves were curvier, the waist was slimmer, and everything was firmer.

Pan Han stood behind her, naturally filled with joy, although his kidneys were involuntarily aching a little.

Fifteen minutes later, Mo Li arrived at Pan Han's room.

Upon seeing Ellie, he said with a complicated expression: "Kid Pan, after you go back, treat Miss Ellie well. But don't forget my silly sister either."

"Brother-in-law, as long as you nod, all three of them can be your sisters." Pan Han said a little embarrassedly.

"Forget it. One sister is enough. I don't have the energy to manage others. The plane is arranged. You can leave at any time."

Pan Han nodded and patted Mo Li on the shoulder, saying: "Brother-in-law, I guarantee you that the return plane will be packed."

"After you go back, make sure to watch over Cheng Xiao and let her evolve successfully. Don't lose track of priorities. That is the main point." Mo Li seemed unconcerned about the supplies, instead sternly instructing Pan Han.

"Rest assured, Brother-in-law, Cheng Xiao is also the apple of my eye." Pan Han nodded.

"Then let's go." Mo Li knew it was about time and didn't try to keep them any longer.

Ten minutes later, the transport plane took off.

"You must have a lot of questions." After the plane stabilized, Pan Han spoke first.

"Indeed, there are so many questions that I don't know where to start." Ellie looked out the porthole at the world outside, her face full of confusion.

"Sigh, this is a long story. But one thing is clear: this is no longer your world."

Pan Han took out two cigarettes and handed one to Ellie; the things he was about to say couldn't be handled without smoking!

White smoke rose, and the story began.

"What? This actually isn't our world anymore?" Ellie had actually realized this long ago, but she hadn't dared to confirm it.

"Yes. I don't know what this place is called either, only that it is going through the apocalypse. 99% of humanity has turned into zombies, and there are countless mutated beasts." Pan Han began to explain to Ellie.

"No way!"

"Even that is possible?"

"Holy crap!"

Ellie let out various exclamations from time to time, and she smoked cigarette after cigarette.

Unknowingly, two hours passed.

Pan Han finally told Ellie everything he could, even mentioning that he could travel through time at will and that he possessed a space.

At this moment, he was completely open and felt incredibly relaxed, treating her with absolute sincerity.

After all, the woman in front of him was willing to give up her life for him.

What did his little secrets amount to compared to that?

Compared to Ellie's rebirth and the arrival of the apocalypse, what was there about his own affairs that couldn't be understood?

"I can never go back." Thinking of this, Ellie felt somewhat sad.

After all, she still had relatives and friends, and she even missed Little Ling a bit.

However, in an instant, she regained her composure; since she had already died and come back to life, what was there that she couldn't accept?

She had been trained in the Knight Order for many years, so her understanding of the meaning of life was naturally different from that of ordinary people.

She was a genius, and she was an assassin; she was destined not to live an ordinary life.

Since Pan Han had arranged for her to be reborn in the apocalypse, there was only one path: forward, moving forward at any cost.

"Ellie, I don't know if this is fair to you. But I can guarantee that what you get here will definitely not be less than what you had in that world." Pan Han held Ellie's hands and said with absolute sincerity.

"Boss, you worry too much. I like this arrangement very much."

"Here there is you, there are sisters, there is family, there is a career, and even killing isn't against the law."

"I have even evolved to the Intermediate level."

"Thinking about it, I'm even a little excited."

"You are still the same Ellie, not changed at all, smart and firm." Pan Han felt much more at ease hearing her say this.

"To tell you the truth, when I first came here, I was much more miserable than you. Now you have me, but back then, I had to carry it all on my own."

"Boss, now that I'm over here, you must come to see me often."

"Rest assured, I will definitely come often. Besides, our mission is very heavy, and everyone will be very busy usually."

The two of them chatted for several more hours, as if they had endless things to say.

Just as the plane was about to land, Ellie suddenly remembered something and looked at Pan Han with a worried expression.

"What's wrong?" Pan Han smiled slightly.

"Boss, there is one thing I lied to you about."
