153: This time I really lied down

After a loud bang, Pan Han flicked open the cap of a bottle of baijiu with his thumb.

Exaggerated!

Shocking!

It's just ridiculous!

This isn't flicking marbles!

"Uncles, let me pour for you..." Pan Han smiled as he poured them drinks.

Two hours later, eight bottles of baijiu were empty; the six bottles brought earlier were clearly not enough.

Old Master Wang was nearly unconscious and was helped into the house to rest by Wang Doudou.

Only Pan Han and Uncle Cheng remained at the table.

"How about it, Uncle Cheng, still want to drink?" Pan Han asked, holding a cigarette and rolling up his sleeves.

"Good kid! You're really something!" Uncle Cheng was already a bit dizzy, feeling the world spin.

However, he had to get the upper hand on Pan Han today, otherwise he would be looked down upon by him everywhere in the future.

Now that it was just the two of them at the table, their eyes met.

"I'm going to the restroom." Uncle Cheng slammed the table, supported himself with his arms to stand up, and stumbled to the bathroom.

He closed the door and locked it.

Uncle Cheng splashed water on his face and shook his head vigorously.

Talking to himself in the mirror: "I didn't expect him to be so good at drinking! Looks like I'll have to use that move today."

Uncle Cheng then gathered his qi with both hands, settling into a horse stance.

His hands continuously made circular motions, constantly gathering qi in his dantian.

After a few rounds, his face was flushed, he began to breathe heavily, then grunted, and opened his mouth wide.

A stream of liquid shot out of his mouth, reeking of alcohol and stomach acid.

After a long while, the stream finally stopped.

The sink was filled with the smell of alcohol and vomit, utterly foul.

Uncle Cheng grabbed a roll of toilet paper, wiped furiously, then sprayed some air freshener, and opened the window.

"Hmm, much better." After finishing his practice, Uncle Cheng touched his face in the mirror.

It turned out he had been practicing Qigong for a long time, and he had now used his qi to force all the alcohol out of his stomach.

After speaking, he washed his face again, wiped it dry, and then reverently bowed towards the window.

"I'm sorry, Master, I've disgraced you. Today, I actually had to use a cultivation technique to force out baijiu; this is your disciple's failure. Please forgive me," Uncle Cheng muttered to himself.

By now, Uncle Cheng had drunk nearly three jin of baijiu. In a normal setting, his opponent would have been under the table long ago.

"This kid Pan Han is indeed strange! I'll have to be more careful in the future." With that, Uncle Cheng tidied his clothes and returned to the table, looking refreshed.

However, Pan Han had heard everything he did in the restroom clearly.

"Damn, so Uncle Cheng is a martial artist! Interesting." Pan Han's curiosity about Uncle Cheng increased.

"Xiao Pan! Shall we continue?" Uncle Cheng, full of confidence, sat in his chair and lit a cigarette.

"Uncle Cheng, can you still handle it? Don't push yourself too hard."

"Oh, what are you saying? Old Master Wang told me to keep you company. I definitely have to give my all! Come on."

Uncle Cheng and Pan Han looked at each other, then suddenly burst into laughter.

"Good kid! I like you! It's been a long time since I've met an opponent like this," Uncle Cheng said seriously, exhaling a smoke ring.

"You flatter me, you flatter me. At your age, to have such good health, now that's a true master," Pan Han said, cupping his hands in respect.

"Then let's go again."

"Alright, I'll have Doudou get the liquor. You, kid, are determined to drink up to a million today, huh? Haha!"

At this moment, Wang Doudou came out of the bedroom and found that the two of them were perfectly fine and wanted to continue drinking.

"Godfather, you want to drink more?" Wang Doudou was a bit surprised to hear that.

Each of them had drunk at least three jin; she didn't know if Pan Han was okay, but her godfather was definitely overdoing it.

"Girl, your godfather must keep him company today. Otherwise, this kid will think our Wang family has no one! Go, get the liquor." Although he had vomited quite a bit, he had still absorbed a lot of alcohol before throwing up, so Uncle Cheng was clearly a bit excited.

"Watch your health!" Doudou was quite concerned about her godfather.

"Go get it. Your godfather hasn't drunk like this in years, just this once. Be a good girl!"

"Got it, how many bottles?" Wang Doudou had seen adults drink since she was little and knew that men at the drinking table should not be embarrassed.

"Let Xiao Pan say."

"Get six more bottles." Although he was called Pan Han, he was not ambiguous.

"Are you crazy?! At most one bottle each!" Wang Doudou immediately rejected him.

"Four bottles, two bottles each. Go!" Uncle Cheng compromised and urged Wang Doudou to go quickly.

"Oh! Men, no matter how old they are, are just like children. Hmph!" Wang Doudou said, then waddled off to get the liquor.

So, another hour passed, and four more bottles were consumed.

This time, Uncle Cheng was truly down! Completely down!

His previous use of qi to force out the alcohol had left him weak and qi-deficient, and he should have rested. Now, with an additional two jin, the baijiu directly backfired.

"I told you not to drink, but you just had to show off. Pan Han, what are you just standing there for? Help me carry him into the room." Wang Doudou looked at her godfather with an angry expression.

"You too! They don't know your physical condition, but I do! You two are not allowed to drink anymore!" After scolding Uncle Cheng, Wang Doudou, still upset, lectured Pan Han.

"You, young miss, don't understand men's affairs. Let's go." Pan Han wasn't annoyed and directly helped her carry Uncle Cheng into the bedroom.

After the two of them settled Uncle Cheng, they came to the living room.

Seeing that Wang Doudou had calmed down a bit, Pan Han slowly began, "You need to seize this opportunity well. Your Uncle Cheng was also afraid he wouldn't be able to control me in the future, so he wanted to give me a warning."

"Do you think I don't know? These old guys always beat around the bush. I know what kind of person you are."

Pan Han smiled slightly, not answering.

What kind of person I am, you really don't know!

I have a million soldiers in another world, would I tell you?

"By the way, what exactly do you need so much money for? What kind of people do you need to support that requires so much money? You don't seem like the type to fool around with women either!" Wang Doudou saw that Pan Han hadn't spoken and continued to press him.

"You're right, I really do need to support people. And I need to support a lot of people," Pan Han honestly replied.

"Uh, isn't that like saying nothing at all?"

"Filming requires supporting people!" Pan Han lit a cigarette, relaxed his posture a bit, and said casually.

"But that wouldn't require so much money."

"Oh, you're mistaken. What I want to film can only be done by throwing money at it."

"Ah? Other film companies aim to make money, so, are you planning to lose money doing this?"

"Anyway, I don't expect to make money from film and television. But the plot and scenes I want must be done right."

"What exactly do you want to film?"

"First, a 'Fengshen Bang' universe? Film our country's mythological figures one by one, and then connect them, just like the Avengers. That's roughly it."

"My goodness, that would indeed cost a lot of money. It's all special effects."

"Exactly. I'm planning to invest 20 billion to make 10 movies. By then, we'll sweep the world, not to mention East Asia. By then, I'll make sure the Americans, Europeans, and Africans can all call out the names of Taishang Laojun, Erlang Shen, and Sun Wukong." Pan Han blew smoke rings, and from a distance, he looked a bit like an immortal refining pills.

"Big brother, you're trying to promote cultural output!"

"Otherwise? How long have the Americans been exporting to us? It's time for us to fight back. With our traditional culture, if filmed well, it'll definitely crush the Avengers."

"Alright. This 30 billion per year, I'll take care of it. If anything goes wrong, you can hold me accountable." Wang Doudou's eyes were burning, and she guaranteed with a solemn expression.
