273: Diliasiba's life hangs by a thread

Dili Abasi's footprints were very clear, making them easy to track, and Pan Han quickly flew to the exit.

After coming out, a small stream appeared before his eyes.

“Mech, pinpoint our base's direction for me.”

“Received, Master.”

Immediately, the mech's AI provided several routes, all generally pointing towards Dawn Base.

“If it was Dili Abasi who ran out, then she must have come to me.”

“Mech, ascend and expand the search area; there should be more footprints.”

“Yes, Master.”

Three minutes later, the mech indeed found traces: a long string of delicate footprints.

“She really did come looking for me.” Pan Han was now 99% certain that this person was Dili Abasi.

“Let's go, let's chase her and see.”

Subsequently, the mech took Pan Han into the air and began tracking.

Soon, they had chased over 600 kilometers.

At Dili Abasi's speed, this was equivalent to her leisurely walking for two days.

At this moment, a small base with dozens of people suddenly appeared before their eyes.

“Master, the information on this base has been scanned.” The mech's AI pushed various pieces of information to the helmet screen.

“A bunch of small trash, they seem to be holding a meeting.” Pan Han saw that the highest-ranking person inside was just an ordinary beginner evolver.

Pan Han exited the mech and hid in the bushes about a kilometer away from the base.

He opened his divine sense and began listening to what they were discussing in their meeting.

“Big Brother, when are we setting off?”

“Are you sure it's just one woman?”

“Absolutely! And she's quite pretty.”

“How did you guys get into a fight with her?”

“Just now, we were on a normal patrol, and we found her unconscious and covered in blood in the nearby woods, so we went to check on her. Who knew that woman would instantly wake up, and with a few clicks, she injured three of our brothers and then ran off.”

“That powerful?”

“But we couldn't tell her rank.”

“Be careful. That woman might not be simple.”

“Big Brother, no matter how amazing she is, she's severely injured now. If we send more people and bring machine guns, we should be able to handle her.”

“Damn it, that woman is really asking for death, daring to injure people from our base. Has she always been this brave?”

“Big Brother, don't hesitate. You haven't seen how beautiful that woman is.”

“Yes, Big Brother, how long has it been since our all-male base has had some fun? It's been a long time since the brothers have had to take care of each other.”

“Alright, since she's delivered herself to our doorstep, we can't be lenient with her. Everyone listen up, leave ten people to guard the base, and the rest of you follow me to catch her. After we succeed, that woman will be shared by everyone!”

Hearing this, Pan Han smiled slightly, thinking, “Isn't this how I find her?”

Sure enough, in less than ten minutes, five SUVs drove out of the base and headed straight north.

“Let's go, mech, let's follow them.” Pan Han climbed into the mech and quickly ascended to an altitude of 5000 meters.

“Asiba, if it's you, then you owe me a life.” Pan Han slowly followed the convoy, preparing to launch an attack after they found the person and confirmed it was Dili Abasi.

If it were anyone else, Pan Han would have no interest in playing the good guy.

“However, I just heard she was covered in blood, so it seems she's seriously injured. You must hold on, or I'll have come all this way for nothing.” Pan Han knew Dili Abasi was powerful; in her normal state, let alone injuring a few thugs, even eradicating this base would be a matter of minutes.

After the convoy came out, they drove for more than ten minutes, entered the mountain forest, and dozens of strong men, armed with rifles, got out of the vehicles to search.

“Big Brother, that woman should be hiding here. We saw her run this way.”

“Within a hundred li of here, this is the only place to hide people! Search for her. Release the dogs.”

At the boss's command, several mutated vicious dogs rushed out.

“Ha, these little kids have quite a lot of gear. It's truly a case of bad students having many tools.” Pan Han laughed as he watched from above.

Dozens of strong men, in groups of three to five, divided into seven or eight groups, conducted a dragnet search.

The base boss followed with a few people behind them.

It seemed these people worked well together and were well-trained.

Sure enough, a few minutes later, the mutated vicious dogs barked wildly at a small cave.

“Big Brother, found her! Haha!”

“Let's go, let's go check it out.”

Dozens of people quickly approached the cave, stopping about a dozen meters away, their dark muzzles all aimed inside.

At this moment, Dili Abasi lay inside, on her last breath.

After she escaped a few days ago, she headed all the way towards Dawn Base.

Unexpectedly, after traveling several hundred kilometers, she encountered a beast tide.

Hundreds of mutated lion-tigers surrounded her, and she barely managed to escape by using all her strength, but she was severely wounded.

Later, she fainted in the small woods near this base.

And then came the story Pan Han heard, about the conflict with the patrol team.

Her injuries were severe; she didn't even have the strength for a fatal blow, only managing to injure a few people and take the opportunity to escape.

She used her last ounce of strength to hide in this cave.

At this moment, Dili Abasi also noticed the base members pursuing her, but she had no strength left and could only lean against the wall, constantly sneering.

She recalled her life, which was quite legendary.

A child prodigy in her youth, successful in her studies, becoming the leader of Daughter Country after the apocalypse, and then finally becoming an Intermediate Evolver, only to encounter successive setbacks.

It was a complete high start and low finish.

“This must be fate.” Dili Abasi slowly shed two lines of hot tears. Eight years into the apocalypse, it was time to say goodbye.

She wouldn't come back in her next life!

“Beauty, we know you're in there. If you surrender, we can spare your life.” The base patrol leader shouted into the cave.

If they could capture her alive, slowly torturing her back at the base would be more satisfying than just killing her.

Thinking this, the patrol leader couldn't help but reveal a lewd smile.

Dili Abasi looked towards the cave entrance, knowing her death day had arrived. She wanted to curse, but she had no strength.

The patrol leader shouted a few more times, and seeing no response from inside, he looked back at the base boss.

The boss nodded at him, and the patrol leader waved his hand, sending two vicious dogs rushing in.

After entering seven or eight meters, the vicious dogs discovered the dying Dili Abasi.

But they didn't attack rashly; instead, they barked wildly at her.

After barking a dozen times, the patrol leader saw that the person inside wasn't resisting, so he brought three people in.

“Haha, it really is her!” The captain, seeing Dili Abasi, shouted excitedly to those around him.

“It seems she's almost done for. Carry her out.”

Two subordinates immediately propped up Dili Abasi, and the group came before the boss.

The boss pinched Dili Abasi's face, examining her carefully: “She really is a beauty.”

Then, he squeezed her slender waist: “Not bad, very soft, very thin.”

“Sorry, little beauty, dying won't be that easy! The brothers won't agree. Hehehe!” The boss let out a lewd, wild laugh.

The other subordinates in the base also laughed wildly, some even shooting into the sky in excitement.

“Tie her up and take her back to play with slowly!” At the boss's command, several subordinates eagerly rushed to do the work.
