300: Equipment in place

The next day, large warehouses and oil storage tanks began construction, as per Pan Han's latest request.

Pan Han had no intention of leaving; it was indeed comfortable to eat, drink, and play here.

He maintained a schedule of traveling to the apocalypse every five days and returning to his old home's seaside warehouse once to transport supplies.

The rest of his time was spent playing.

During this period, the Committee sent several weekly reports, which Pan Han casually glanced at before tossing them aside.

Surely, no one truly believes that things can be done well by relying on weekly reports, right?

Anyway, Pan Han didn't believe it.

In a flash, more than twenty days passed, and the weapons and equipment were ready.

The Elder Committee invited Pan Han to the Somalia Base for inspection.

This time, he couldn't refuse; he needed to transport them to the apocalypse.

On the Dawn Base side, the total number of people had also exceeded 8,000, and training was complete. A large, flat area of land was also specially cleared for storing armored vehicles.

"Time to go!" Pan Han stretched, put on his clothes, and headed straight for the airport.

He had enjoyed himself thoroughly these past few days, feeling greatly relaxed both physically and mentally.

Within the Knight Order, gossip about Pan Han's combat prowess had already spread to everyone.

Everyone knew that the new Pope was an absolute master, skilled in both offense and defense, with divine marksmanship, and even capable of acupuncture!

When Pan Han's private plane landed in Somalia, the Three Elders were already waiting at the airport.

The three of them had been holding their breath, determined to meet the new Pope in person today.

Are you kidding me! Over a hundred billion eagle sauce coins had been spent, and they still didn't know what the owner looked like. How could there be such a principle in the world?

As Pan Han walked out of the plane, the Three Elders immediately went forward to greet him.

According to the Knight Order's rules, Committee members were not required to kneel, but today, the Three Elders all knelt on one knee.

After all, it was an old official meeting a new emperor; the relationship was delicate, so it was better to be cautious.

Pan Han observed the three of them; all were over 70 years old, but their bodies were robust and their spirits vigorous.

"It seems these people usually do a lot of maintenance," Pan Han mused.

"Your subordinates greet Your Holiness," the Three Elders said in unison.

"Rise! Let's go to the villa first," Pan Han said calmly, walking directly to the special car and heading straight for the Akande Manor Villa.

The Three Elders exchanged glances, shook their heads helplessly, and followed him back.

After arriving at the villa, Pan Han didn't stop at all, immediately wanting to inspect the weapons and equipment.

At this point, the Three Elders simply couldn't hold back anymore.

Elder One stepped forward and bowed, saying, "Your Holiness, you must be tired from your journey. Please rest for a moment before going."

"Just say what's important, don't waste words." A dozen hours on a plane would be an ordeal for ordinary people, but for Pan Han, it felt like nothing.

Elder Two and Elder Three frowned, thinking, 'Why is the new Pope's temper so bad? Can't he understand good intentions?'

The only purpose of their meeting with Pan Han this time was to restore the dialogue mechanism, so that future commands would preferably be communicated to the Committee first.

Pan Han's direct retort left Elder One speechless; he didn't know how to respond.

Elder Two, seeing the awkward situation, quickly stepped in to smooth things over: "Your Holiness, since you assumed the great position, we three old men haven't had a chance to report on our work to you. Since you're here this time, could you give us three an opportunity?"

"Then report now. Tell me the most important thing! Put everything else aside for now!" Pan Han's mind was currently filled with thoughts of war in the apocalypse, and he wasn't in the mood to chat idly with them.

...

The Three Elders were caught off guard, never expecting Pan Han to be in such a hurry. They had originally planned to report many things, gradually building up to discussing the dialogue mechanism at the end.

They didn't expect Pan Han to deviate from the routine; if they could only say one thing, it wouldn't be suitable to talk about the dialogue mechanism.

Without preparation, it would be a waste!

The three exchanged glances, and Elder Three stepped forward and said, "Your Holiness. Recently, our oil industry has encountered a significant crisis."

Elder Three was in charge of the commercial sector, from which the vast majority of the Knight Order's funds came.

The oil industry was the most profitable sector, so bringing this up should grab Pan Han's attention.

"Speak," Pan Han said unhurriedly, taking a sip of tea, his attitude still very cold.

"Yes, Your Holiness. In the past six months, oil prices have plummeted, and our income has decreased by over 80 billion eagle sauce coins. Also, one oil field is nearly depleted, which will affect income for the next six months." Elder Three was not lying, but his main purpose was still to subtly hint for Pan Han to spend less money.

He had only been in office for a little over a month, spending money like water; if he didn't curb it, even the deepest family fortune would be squandered.

"Okay, got it. Anything else? If not, don't delay me from inspecting the weapons and equipment." Pan Han nodded, not taking the bait at all.

"This..." Elder Three was utterly bewildered, his scalp tingling!

"Is the new Pope perhaps an idiot? Why doesn't he respond?" The other two's internal thoughts weren't much better.

"Alright, alright, it's a minor issue. I'll get you some oil later," Pan Han waved impatiently, signaling the three to withdraw.

At these words, the Three Elders didn't know what to say and could only bow and withdraw.

Pan Han quickly ordered someone to drive to the weapons warehouse. He couldn't wait to start the war.

A thousand various pieces of equipment were stored in three enormous warehouses.

Pan Han ordered everyone to wait 500 meters away, stating that anyone who approached would be killed without mercy.

He walked into one warehouse and saw rows of tanks.

"Good heavens!" Pan Han patted the sturdy armor and kicked the road wheels.

With this batch of equipment, the Dawn Army could instantly complete mechanization.

Many people can't distinguish between motorization and mechanization.

Simply put, motorization only uses vehicles as transport, with the main combat still relying on soldiers.

Mechanization, on the other hand, primarily uses various combat vehicles, allowing soldiers to fight without dismounting.

With these 1,000 pieces of equipment, combined with the Dawn Army, it would be enough to form two mechanized infantry brigades.

"Go!" With a thought, Pan Han loaded all the equipment in the entire warehouse into his spatial storage.

He then went to the other two warehouses and collected the rest of the equipment into his spatial storage.

From the warehouse, he sent a message to the Knight Order members waiting outside, telling them to disperse and not stay there.

Immediately, he traveled to the apocalypse.

Everyone at the base had been making final preparations these past few days.

This included personnel, intelligence, fuel, food, medical supplies, and so on.

The current Dawn Army, aside from not having their weapons in place, was already very mature.

Pan Han arrived at the open ground and transported all the weapons out.

He then called Qin Zhong and gave him 15 days to familiarize the troops with operations and formations as quickly as possible.

They shouldn't be afraid of wasting ammunition; training with 10 basic loads would be fine.

"Old Qin, in 15 days, the troops must be fully prepared. I will return on time," Pan Han instructed.

"Yes, Commander, please rest assured." Qin Zhong saluted and gave his military pledge.

"You're leaving already?" Cheng Xiao asked from the side.

"Call Old Wu here; I have an order for him."

A few minutes later, Wu Disheng ran over, panting.

"Commander, I'm here."

Pan Han pointed to two large barrels in the distance and said, "Here are some oil samples I want. Study them. Replicate them for me."

"Yes, Commander!" Previously, Wu Disheng had studied the gasoline and diesel Pan Han brought, diluting them at a 1:20 ratio. This time, directly diluting crude oil would require re-researching the formula.

"Based on the quality of these two barrels of oil, prepare five million tons of crude oil for me. I need to transport it in fifteen days."

"Yes, Commander. Where should I put it?"

"Just put it on the oil-producing island. Find more oil storage tanks."

"Understood! I guarantee the completion of the mission!"

"Mm, go ahead." Pan Han waved his hand, dismissing Wu Disheng.

"Why do you need so much oil?" Cheng Xiao wondered.

"I can't just take these weapons for free. I have to give them some benefits." Pan Han planned to pour this batch of oil into the depleted oil field that Elder Three mentioned.

It should last for a while.
