469: Who says you can’t kill someone without a gun barrel?

At this moment, the President was already tear-streaked, like a begging stray dog.

Pan Han patted his head and said, "I know you're not convinced. But that's okay, I'll make you convinced."

"Coming and going from the White House as I please is nothing. This is just an appetizer."

"You... what are you going to do?"

The Secretary of Defense was the first to react, asking in terror.

He was most familiar with the concept of deterrence; the first few times, you have to get it right immediately, or no one will listen to you later.

The gangster-style scene Pan Han was putting on today would elicit a strong reaction on the spot—heads would bow, knees would bend, and people would admit defeat as necessary.

But once they came to their senses, they would usually retaliate twofold.

Therefore, the Secretary of Defense vaguely sensed that Pan Han still had a backup plan.

"That's a good question. But I'm afraid if I say it, you won't believe me. Yet if I don't show you a thing or two, you won't be convinced, and this will never end."

As he spoke, Pan Han raised an eyebrow, and the pistol disassembled into parts, floating in mid-air.

A single bullet hovered right in front of the Secretary of Defense's brow.

The Secretary of Defense of the world's number one military power, a five-star general, had never been threatened like this before.

He wasn't some civilian president; he came from the special forces, fought his way up, and climbed step-by-step to his current position—his reputation was well-earned.

"I hate it most when people point a gun at my head. If you've got the guts, kill me!"

The Secretary of Defense suddenly stood up, saying righteously.

A thick aura of Eagle Country militantism washed over them.

Pan Han loved people who weren't afraid of death; they had no idea what fear was.

"But I'm not pointing a gun at your head!" Pan Han flicked his hand, and the other six bullets flew above the Secretary of Defense's head.

The others didn't understand what the Secretary of Defense meant.

If a person could do what Pan Han was doing, wouldn't they be a god?

Why was he still struggling?

He must have been a soldier for so long he'd gone stupid!

Hearing Pan Han say this, the Secretary of Defense glanced at the bullets surrounding him and swallowed hard.

But the words were already out, and there was no taking them back. Besides, as such an important official, he bet that Pan Han wouldn't easily take action.

Standing firm against him now might even leave some room for future negotiations.

So he held his neck straight and said, "If you've got the guts, then shoot!"

"Fine. I've never seen such a request in my life. Since you're asking for death, I'll grant it."

Pan Han shrugged, and the next moment, all seven bullets fired simultaneously, exploding out of thin air, with the warheads flying straight into the Secretary of Defense's head.

Bang!

The Secretary of Defense's head exploded like a watermelon.

Who says you can't kill someone without a gun barrel?

"Oh!"

"NO!"

"FUCK!"

Everyone covered their mouths in shock; they couldn't believe Pan Han had really killed him.

The Secretary of Defense who had been in a meeting with them just a moment ago now had his brains splattered into their mouths.

It was just absurd!

What the hell!

How are we supposed to sleep tonight?

"Friends! You've all probably killed people before, no need to act so naive."

Pan Han was very satisfied with the effect of the mid-air shooting, but slightly disappointed with the performance of this bunch of animals in suits.

They're all old foxes; don't try to play these games with me!

"Mr. Pan, please stop. Whatever conditions you have, we will agree to them."

The President finally came to his senses and staggered to his feet.

He was the highest-ranking official here, and he had to step up at this moment.

"Did I tell you to stand up?" Pan Han growled when he saw this.

Hearing this, the President quickly and obediently knelt back down.

At his age, kneeling for so long was truly hard on his knees; shifting around a bit could at least relieve some of the pain.

But the situation was stronger than the man; he had to kneel!

"Mr. Pan, just name your conditions; we in Eagle Country are best at negotiating cooperation."

"Yes, yes! Mr. Pan, everything is negotiable." The others quickly chimed in.

"In that case, dismantle all of your Navy's aircraft carriers."

Pan Han made the most outrageous demand in the calmest tone.

Eagle Country dominated the globe, and aircraft carriers were their greatest reliance.

Without aircraft carriers, there would be no global deployment capability, no freedom of navigation, and no maritime advantage whatsoever.

Eagle Country bordered oceans on both sides; without aircraft carriers, they would be reduced to shrinking back into the Americas to develop.

"That's impossible!" the President exclaimed.

Everyone present shook their heads; this demand seemed even worse than killing them.

If they lost their hegemony, what was the point of living!

Was their two-hundred-plus-year foundation to be destroyed in a single day?

Was the century of dominance to be lost on their watch?

If the public knew about this condition, they would storm the White House with guns and hang them!

"Mr. President. I am just informing you, not negotiating with you. If you are unwilling to do it yourselves, I can do it for you. But the price will be different from what it is now."

Pan Han relit the cigar in his hand and took a leisurely puff. This situation was when he felt most comfortable.

Unrestrained, doing whatever he pleased!

"Ah! What exactly do you want?? We cannot possibly agree to this condition."

The President couldn't take it anymore; enduring the pain in his knees, he stood up and waved his fists.

Eagle Country had always been the one threatening others; when had they ever had to endure such insults?

"Understood. Since talking nicely doesn't work, let's try a different way of communicating."

Pan Han didn't continue attacking the people in the room; killing them wouldn't solve the problem.

In a country like Eagle Country, the death of a few leaders wouldn't affect the operation of society.

He needed to make their hundreds of millions of citizens afraid.

The next moment, Pan Han vanished into thin air.

In the conference room, only a few stunned top leaders of Eagle Country, the Secretary of Defense with his head blown open, and a few unconscious agents remained.

"Where... where did he go??"

The President felt the pressure on him ease up significantly, and he could speak normally and freely again, so he quickly asked.

"Maybe he went to the naval base."

Another military official came to his senses, slapped his thigh, and immediately felt that something terrible was about to happen!

"Immediately enter Level 1 combat readiness! Everyone prepare for battle!"

The President's mind was now filled with images of aircraft carriers being sunk; it had to be said, what Pan Han talked about was too bizarre and exaggerated.

These were 11 nuclear-powered aircraft carriers!

With a massive number of destroyers and cruisers escorting them, and nuclear submarines below, how could he possibly sink them all?

But was he really incapable of it?

After the order was given, all personnel at the White House immediately sprang into action.

It had to be said, Eagle Country's reaction speed was indeed fast.

The military was always in a state of readiness; once something happened, switching to wartime mode was easy.

The President didn't intend to stay at the White House either, so he directly boarded the Army One helicopter and flew to the office of the Eagle Country Department of Defense—The Pentagon!

And at The Pentagon, everyone in the military was at their posts, nervously and orderly beginning to prepare for Pan Han's attack.

The global satellite surveillance system began working, attempting to lock onto Pan Han's location.

Several strategic bombers carrying nuclear weapons took off, ready to launch an apocalyptic attack at any moment.

Nuclear submarines deep in the ocean suddenly received orders to launch nuclear missiles at any time.

All naval vessels weighed anchor and formed attack formations at sea.

The Army entered designated battlefields, leaving no place that needed defending unprotected.

Two thousand Marines air-dropped around The Pentagon to implement maximum security.
