510: Zombie Moving

After the bearded squad member killed seven or eight zombies that had climbed up, his dagger got stuck in a skull and he couldn't pull it out.

He picked up a machine gun, fired the last dozen rounds, then threw down the machine gun and ran towards the rooftop.

As he ran past the conference room where the elderly were, his gaze flickered, unable to bear looking inside.

He casually moved two sofas, blocking the doorway, and silently murmured, "Old folks, I'm sorry! Don't make a sound, the zombies might not find you."

After doing all that, he looked at the zombies climbing up behind him, stomped his feet hard a few times, and shouted, "Come on! Your grandpa's right here!"

With that, he turned and ran towards the rooftop.

Hearing the squad member's shouts, the zombies followed in pursuit.

On the rooftop of the building, the captain looked at his four squad members.

The five of them had known each other for many years, somewhat similar to the Dawn Squad.

They helped each other, surviving with difficulty.

At this point, more words were useless. The captain bowed towards the old folks' conference room, then pulled everyone to deploy their paragliders.

This was an escape method they had specifically prepared half a month ago to prevent being ambushed.

"How many bullets do we still have?" the captain suddenly asked after the paragliders were ready.

"I have about a dozen left."

"I have over thirty!"

"I have two grenades."

"I have a bit more, about a hundred rounds."

The captain looked at everyone, nodded, and said, "Fire them all! Kill as many as you can."

"Alright! Fire!"

The squad members shouted, then the five of them lined up, aimed at the passage entrance, and waited for the zombies to emerge.

Half a minute later, several zombies pushed open the passage door, and just as they poked their heads out, they were mowed down by machine gun fire.

"Haha! Brothers, no matter where we fly, we'll die together!"

The captain suddenly felt a surge of heroic spirit. He had lived in the apocalypse for nine years and was somewhat tired of living.

It no longer mattered where he died. The important thing was to die with his brothers!

"Captain! We've killed so many zombies, it's worth it!"

The bearded squad member laughed wildly after blowing up a zombie with a shot.

Da da da!

Da da da!

Over a hundred bullets, as if they had eyes, all shot into the heads of the zombies.

The five of them were surrounded by piles of corpses, and they continuously retreated until they stood at the edge of the rooftop.

"Captain, I'm out!" shouted the squad member with the most bullets, throwing away his machine gun.

"Prepare for takeoff!" the captain shouted when he saw this.

But just as they were about to jump, a piercing shriek came from behind them.

A giant mutated bat, flapping its ten-meter-long wings, hovered in the air.

"Holy crap!" the five of them yelled in unison.

In front were swarms of zombies, and behind was a giant bat.

No way to heaven, no door to earth!

"Hahahaha! Brothers, let's meet again in the next life! I'm glad I knew you guys, this life was worth it!"

With that, the captain closed his eyes, awaiting the final attack.

The four squad members also laughed wildly, closed their eyes, and awaited their final fate.

Crunch! Roar roar! Squeak!

After a series of chaotic noises, the rooftop fell silent.

The captain and the others opened their eyes and found a handsome young man floating in mid-air.

Beneath his feet were dead zombies, and in his hand, he clutched half of the bat's neck, its ugly beastly face twisted to the extreme.

"An immortal?" The captain's mouth hung open, and he squeezed out two words with a gulp.

The handsome young man ignored him, instead letting out a low growl.

The sound was unusually strange, yet it carried immense energy, piercing through the entire Li Ming City.

Immediately after, a bizarre scene unfolded.

The zombies that hadn't yet come up from inside the building began to retreat, appearing in groups downstairs.

And the zombies hidden in other buildings also began to form teams, swaying and staggering out of the buildings.

Soon, countless zombie groups gathered on the road, forming thick marching columns.

They said nothing, their gazes suddenly seemed to firm up, as they headed out of the city.

The captain and the others watched the scene before them, all dumbfounded.

At the same time, various flying mutated beasts appeared in the sky, including countless giant bats like the one that had just been killed.

The ground suddenly cracked open, and a giant armored beetle beast emerged from underground.

The bearded squad member recognized this thing and exclaimed, "What a huge dung beetle!"

The others were still somewhat disbelieving, but after the armored beetle beast emerged, it dragged a giant dung ball from underground.

The stench shot up 800 meters into the sky, and the five men's heads buzzed, nearly making them faint.

"What a huge dung beetle!" the captain also exclaimed.

"Gentlemen, I've arrived just in time, haven't I!" The handsome young man spoke up, reminding them; who else could it be but Pan Han!

While flying earlier, he noticed the captain and the others were in a tough fight, and his heart stirred, so he immediately flew to their rescue.

He arrived not a minute too late, successfully rescuing them at the last moment.

The captain put down his paraglider, came before Pan Han, and bowed with cupped hands: "Thank you, friend, for saving us! May I ask for your esteemed name, master?"

"No problem, I am Pan Han."

"Ah???" Upon hearing Pan Han's name, the captain's legs immediately went weak, and he knelt on the ground.

Although the Dawn Army had not yet taken over here, Pan Han's formidable reputation was already known nationwide.

According to rumors, Pan Han was a great demon king who killed without batting an eye.

He was eight feet tall, and his waist was also eight feet; he desired eight women daily, ate eight human hearts, and drank eight human brains.

Wherever he went, not a blade of grass grew.

If one resisted Pan Han, both men and women would be killed; if one surrendered, men would be beheaded and women kept.

"What, you've heard my name?" Pan Han saw the captain start trembling and felt both strange and amused.

He didn't ask, but as soon as he did, the captain peed himself.

He never expected that the captain, who had seen countless deaths, would actually wet his crotch and pee!

The other four squad members had also heard of Pan Han's infamous reputation. Realizing the captain was in danger, they disregarded their own safety and all drew their daggers, standing in front.

"Why are you doing this? I saved your lives, haven't I made a mistake?" Pan Han wondered.

"You demon! No need for more words, whether you kill or dismember, start with me first." The bearded squad member said fiercely.

Pan Han listened, then gave a wry smile.

He waved his hand, signaling everyone to put down their weapons: "I'm not here to kill you! I'm here to transform this city."

"Stop bullshitting! You transform! You're more likely to destroy." Another squad member said.

Pan Han frowned. Although he had no ill will towards these few people, being cursed at like this made him feel offended.

Just as he was about to take their daggers, the captain suddenly shouted, "You guys are being presumptuous! Hurry up and apologize!"

The captain's words were effective. The few of them looked at each other and slowly lowered their daggers.

Pan Han suppressed his mood, then turned with a smile and said, "You guys are quite interesting, you like taking care of the elderly, right. From now on, the Dawn Retirement Home will be yours."

Pan Han's words were without head or tail, leaving the captain and the others looking at each other in confusion.

"Lord Pan, may I ask, what exactly did you mean earlier when you said transforming this city?"

The captain broke the silence and asked.

"Listen up, all of you. From now on, all surviving humans will live in this city. Humans and zombies will completely reconcile! And live good lives!"

Pan Han conjured a cigarette out of thin air, snapped his fingers to light it, exuding an air of supreme confidence!
